Our flat was finishd in Q1 2023. It is cosy, modern and in Scandinavian style. It is situated in the most cosy village in the Faroe Islands - Oyndarfjørður - surrounded by nature, yet central with 30 minutes drive to the capital and most places of interest in the country. The village is authentic surrounded by mountain and sea, with 5 min walk to the famous rocking rocks and many hiking tracks. It is easy to travel to other islands from here.

With a stunning view over the village of Mikladal on the Island Kalsoy, this is the perfect pit-stop on the way to or from the mandatory hike to visit The Lighthouse in Trøllanes. There is no grocery store in Kalsoy so you have to buy food before embarking the ferry to Kalsoy.

Cosy little old house in Tjørnuvík

The house is very old. Originally the house was half the size it is today, only around 15m2. In 1884 they built it bigger, around 29m2. Nobody knows how old the original house is. People have been living in the small village of Tjørnuvík for thousand years.
