What a beautiful cabin in the woods! Lots of wildlife around the property & there was a little hiking path through the woods. Within 15min to two picturesque towns, Camden & Belfast. I highly recommend visiting the alpaca store for some fabulous socks! The cabin was super clean and beautiful. I instantly fell in love with it. We will certainly stay here again if we come to the Lincolnville area again. It snowed while we were here and Andreas husband came over and made sure the driveway was plowed. You won't be disappointed if you stay here!!

Gintara’s place is STUNNING. The breath taking views, well-kept grounds, amazing architecture, and attention to detail in the house truly exceeded our expectations. Our family was able to disconnect and feel fully relaxed here. There is not a single thing that would have made our stay better. We will definitely be back.

Rocky Haven is even more beautiful in person than in the photos! We felt at home as soon as we walked in. The house was spotless, and all the kitchen and bathroom essentials were readily available. Mark, the host, was incredibly responsive and always available to help with any questions we had. The instructions to get to the house were really helpful, especially since you have to drive off-road to reach it. Thanks to the clear directions, it was easy and stress- free arrival. The outdoor space is peaceful and beautiful, with easy access to water activities. There’s one canoe that fits three people and two single kayaks, which was a great bonus. Even though the weather wasn’t ideal over the Memorial long weekend, we had a lovely stay and truly enjoyed the peaceful surroundings. We’re looking forward to coming back again.

Great Timbers was the perfect spot for our vacation to Acadia. It was very peaceful and right on the water! The house had everything we needed and was perfect for bringing our pup along. The host was also quick to respond when we had any questions.

This is a delightful place. Watching the sunrise and moonrise from the dock was beautiful. While it is a bit of a drive to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park, coming back to the house to relax was a highlight. The girls did a few puzzles while the guys played pool. We sat on the dock to relax in the sun and listen to the water lapping on the shore. Thank you for letting us stay here.

Me and my family really enjoyed staying at Buck’s. It is right on the bay and private, perfect for kayaking and bird watching. We rented kayaks at Waters Edge Kayaks with Mike, who was extremely responsive and thoughtful. The location was pretty good, about 40 min to Acadia and also schoodic point. Buck had tons of great suggestions and was easy to get a hold of. Lots of clear instructions around the house too. Also, the house was clean and spacious, perfect for my family of 5. Would definitely come back!

Mark’s place is in a beautiful location and a well equipped, comfortable house. It was the perfect spot for our family’s stay while attending our daughter’s graduation from Colby College in Waterville, a 20 min drive away. It was a wet & chilly weekend, but we were able to take out the canoe on a beautiful sunny Memorial Day Monday! The heating system was great and we really enjoyed the efficient fireplace, which kept us warm during the first couple of chilly nights. I highly recommend Mark’s place and would definitely stay again if I have the opportunity to visit the area!

Jim and Zainab were super welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed— answered our numerous questions, gave great suggestions. The house is beautiful, clean, and right on a peaceful lake with stunning views. We loved the boats—whether we were fishing, kayaking, or just relaxing on the water, it was perfect. The sunsets were gorgeous, and the whole place was so relaxing. Oh wait and the hot tub!! I cannot say enough good things about this home and these hosts. If you’re looking for a great spot to unwind, this is it. Can’t wait to come back!

My partner and I had a wonderful stay at the Sunset Chalet for our anniversary. Our hosts went above and beyond to make our weekend special. When we first checked in, there was soft music playing and mood lighting, making the cabin feel warm and cozy. They kindly provided us with a flower bouquet, an anniversary cake, treats, and wine. Feras wrote us an anniversary card that was personally addressed to me and my boyfriend; he had clearly read our reservation request closely and had thoughtfully curated our experience accordingly. Ultimately, we had a great stay and we would love to go back in the future.

When you drive up to Cole Cottage you will find yourself in a truly magical place. We arrived at sunset and went right to the cove behind the cottage. The beach is filled with marvelous beauty. The kids explored the tide pools, found shells, sea glass, small crabs and star fish while my husband and I watched the sky. Sunsets in the back became a regular part of our trip. Each one was unique and mesmerizing. The location was really great because you can easily drive to the many places of interest on Mt Dessert Island including an entrance to Acadia National Park just minutes from the cottage. The cottage was the perfect home to return to. I can’t even put into words how magical and amazing the cove and view out the back were. The huge windows facing the back offered breathtaking views any time we were ‘home.’ The porch was a perfect place for coffee in the morning and a night cap in the evening. The stars were magnificent. Cole Cottage is a perfect beach side cottage with all the comforts of home. Comfy beds, cozy blankets, many different types of coffee makers, kitchen appliances and laundry. My family and will have many fond memories of our time in Maine at Cole’s Cottage.

Outside, we enjoyed fishing off the dock, the wonderful landscaping and the lovely porches. Inside, the kitchen was perfect for cooking family meals, the fireplace room provided exactly the kind of atmosphere we wanted for a lake house getaway, and all of the bedrooms and bathrooms were clean, comfortable and as described. It was a delightful stay for everyone in our group of 9 (all ages, from 1 to 68), and we highly recommend it! Terrific and friendly host, clear instructions for check in and check out, and a superb location.

We stayed at the guzzle for a friends trip to Acadia. Although the property is a little far from the national park, it was such a great place to come back to and relax. The hosts were kind and courteous with our requests, the kitchen and washrooms were neat, tidy and adequate. The jacuzzi was a great add on to the property and provided for much comfort after a long day of trekking.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming cottage in Ellsworth. It was exactly what we were looking for—peaceful, right on the water, and beautifully set up for a relaxing getaway. We especially enjoyed using the kayaks when the tide was in. The cottage was exceptionally well-equipped with everything we could possibly need. The kitchen was fully stocked, and the bathroom was surprisingly spacious, as were all the bedrooms. The upstairs mattress was very firm, while our guests downstairs noted theirs were a bit softer, which worked out well for everyone. The upstairs A/C unit worked great and was much appreciated on warmer days. The outdoor spaces were a real highlight—we spent time by the water, on the porch, and around the fire pit in the evenings. I’ve stayed at many Airbnbs, and this one stands out as one of the cleanest and most comfortable. The host was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. This was our base for Acadia and it was about a 25 minute drive.

We stayed at the Birch Chalet last week and it was an amazing experience for our family! The views from the deck are even more spectacular in person. We saw a bald eagle, a wood pecker, many seals and schools of fish jumping out of the water. I wish I had my binoculars to see the all the wildlife. Peter was an exceptional host! He was very friendly and accommodating. He shared additional options for hiking that were less crowded and recommendations for restaurants, that did not disappoint. When I couldn't find the lobster crackers etc, he brought more the very next day and even brought us a blueberry pie! The unit does not have A/C but when a heat wave came through, Peter offered us an A/c unit. The mussels were plentiful at low tide, just watch for the pearls. The water was fine to drink right from the tap and the beds were comfortable as well. The humidity made it difficult for the bath mats to dry out. Our experience at Birch was unforgettable and we would love to return next year.

We just returned from the most outstanding stay at Castle Rock Lodge. My large group of 10 people, 3 generations ranging in age from 4 to 80 years, thoroughly enjoy themselves. From the gorgeous and comfortable cabin, to the waterfront with fire pit and small boats, to the vast woods with trails for adventures, no one wanted to leave. The setting was so serene and peaceful, we felt totally removed from the world (no worries, Walmart is 25min away). We truly hope to return to Castle Rock Lodge.

Michael was a very thoughtful and responsive host, with clear instructions and proactive handling of situations. The house itself was very beautiful and comfortably slept everyone in my party of 8. We would definitely recommend AWD and snow tires for those visiting in the middle of winter. There was a huge snowstorm during our visit and Michael was clear about when the plow would be visiting, although we did have to wait a few hours and shovel ourselves out a little bit, but there were shovels on the property to add to the ones we brought in our cars. We felt there was a longer list of checkout instructions compared to other properties but we also felt that Michael and Maggie provided a greater number and higher quality of amenities such as a fully stocked kitchen and bar area. We would definitely visit again to try out the hot tub and boat in the summer. Thank you to the hosts for sharing your home with us for the weekend!

Cheryl’s home was absolutely a “piece of heaven”! Her home is beautiful and in the loveliest spot right on the water! Everything was spotless when we arrived, with a welcome note from our hosts with their contact information. The house was exactly as described - comfy beds, well stocked kitchen, great family room with tv. The outside was perfect - fire pit with lots of chairs, gas grill, dock for easy access to the water! They had several kayaks available! The pond was clear and calm. Cheryl and Mike we gracious hosts, very responsive but gave us plenty of privacy. Se would highly recommend their home!

If you're into waking up each morning and finding yourself just staring out at a beautiful scene, you'll like this place as much as my friends and I did. You're a good 20-25 minutes out from the nearest town/store, but really, while you're at the chalet, you won't want to leave. The kitchen had everything we needed, the wifi was great. Morning kayak rides were enjoyed, fire pit time at night was enjoyed, and my friends especially enjoyed the three cats that kept coming and hanging out on the back porch. We'd stay again.
