Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in Overijse

After 8 years on Airbnb, this is my first long review. The window was broken, and due to strong wind I caught a bad flu that I’m still recovering from. The host was very rude. I stayed two nights, and on the last night I asked for the WiFi password—he replied by demanding to know when I was leaving and insisted on checkout by 11 a.m. I had planned everything assuming I could stay until 2 p.m., and politely asked if that was possible. He responded aggressively, threatened to report me to Airbnb, and falsely claimed he let me check in early (I arrived at 3 p.m., on time). I left by 10:30 a.m. regardless. I’ve stayed in many countries through Airbnb and never encountered this level of disrespect. I’m not writing this to hurt his business, but to encourage a little more politeness and professionalism in how guests are treated.

A great place to base my trip to Brussels out of! Horta metro station is a few blocks away and made it super easy to get around. I was only there for a few days, but it seemed like a good neighborhood with lots of good food options. I had a little difficulty getting in but Christine was there to assist and it ended up being user error 🙂. Overall I would stay again!

Heerlijk apartment! Mooi en schoon. Locatie alleen wat ver van het centrum, maar het is ongeveer 10 minuten lopen naar de metro die je naar het centrum brengt. Het enige nadeel is dat het gebouw erg gehorig is. We hebben de bovenburen ‘s avonds nog druk gehoord. Los daarvan heerlijk geslapen.

heel fijn en ruim appartement op loopafstand van het centrum van Leuven. pluspunten: eigen parkeerplek, erg schoon, goed uitgeruste keuken, veel snacks en drankjes aanwezig, moderne apparatuur, vriendelijke en snel reagerende host.

Appartement très bien aménagé et confortable. Clés remises en personne, vin, eau, bière, café, thé à disposition à l’arrivée, très apprécié. Nous aurions par contre aimé avoir des informations complémentaires écrites sur l’utilisation de la télé et des différents appareils, supermarchés et boulangeries à proximité. L’elevator nous a causé du souci. Je n’irais pas en été, il doit y faire très chaud, par contre en tout autre période je n’y vois que des avantages.

Great place. Highly recommended. Comfortable and very close to the European institutions. Good communication and great wifi and bed. Silent at night and good stuff in the kitchen.

Excellent séjour à Bruxelles, l’appartement de Marius est très bien situé, très spacieux et décoré avec goût, tout était parfait !

Het is een heel mooi huis in een prachtige omgeving. Er was van alles aanwezig en als welkom stond er heerlijke appelsap en een fles Houppe bier. Het huis was brandschoon en heel comfortabel. We hebben genoten. Het huis is echt een aanrader!

Prima locatie voor uitstapjes naar Brussel, Gent en Antwerpen. Het appartement is compleet met vele voorzieningen en ruimte slaapkamer, badkamer, aparte keuken en woonkamer. Annelies is gastvrij, compleet in haar instructie en vriendelijk in haar communicatie. Wij hebben van het begin tot het eind genoten en kijken terug op een fantastisch pinksterweekend. Bedankt Annelies en wie weet tot ziens....

Это прекрасный дом, который находится на берегу реки и окружён большим количеством зелени, в тихом месте. Всё написанное соответствует реальности. В доме есть в всё необходимое, соль , сахар, кофе , приправы и даже оливковое масло. Советую всем и обязательно вернусь сам.

We felt very comfortable during our stay. The house is a spacious three-story building with steep stairs, so keep that in mind if you have mobility concerns. You have to pass through the owner’s home to get to the rental, which was no problem for us. The place was very clean and well-maintained, everything was in great condition. On the first day, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast, which was a lovely touch. The house is perfectly equipped for families with young children — there were many baby-friendly items like a crib, high chair, and plenty of toys. It truly felt adapted for babies and ideal for families. The neighborhood is pleasant and conveniently located, with everything close by.

Unser Aufenthalt war super schön in dieser tollen Unterkunft. Das Haus ist mit allem Ausgestattet was man benötigt. Es fehlt einem an nichts. die Lage ist ebenfalls perfekt. Maryam ist eine sehr zuvorkommende Gastgeberin die sich hervorragend um uns gekümmert hat. Ich kann diese Unterkunft nur mehr als empfehlen.

we hebben erg genoten van het prachtige huis op een wonderschone locatie. helaas zat het weer niet echt mee, maar binnen was het warm en gezellig. we zouden graag nog eens terugkomen met mooi weer. In de buurt is vanalles te doen, dus je hoeft je zeker niet te vervelen.

Notre week-end en famille de 4 j. était génial ! Logement atypique, spacieux, chaleureux, tous qu'on aimes 🥰 une terrasse pour profiter du beau temps et un trampoline et balançoire que notre fille a adorée 🤗. Tout est à disposition, ont se sens comme à la maison. Parfait, Merci beaucoup ! nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir ! 🤗😁

We had a wonderful stay at Kaat´s place!! It was wonderfully located and had everything that we needed. You could walk into the city, but there is also a bus stop nearby. It was wonderful to have the outside space as well. The stairs going up to the top bedroom are steep, just for information if anyone has a hard time with stairs. But the main bedroom is right across from the bathroom. Kaat was available for questions that we had. Would love to go back when we are in Leuven again!!

Olivier was helpful and responsive, and it was a great place to stay for a few days. The bathroom and elevator up were admittedly a bit tight, but it was enough space to maneuver with just the two of us. This location is located very close to Merode station which was handy to get around. It can be a bit loud if there are concerts in the nearby park (as was the case for our stay), but they ended well before midnight so it was not a major problem. Definitely recommended if you can book this AirBnB!

My stay at Vincent’s apartment was amazing. The apartment itself is very large, the pictures in the listing don’t do it justice. It was cleaned very well and had all the amenities listed in the description. The best thing about my stay was the location. The apartment is centrally located in Brussels, just a few minutes walk to the Grand Place and Central station. I would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone looking to explore downtown Brussels!

I had a great stay! The location was perfect—walkable to everything I needed and easy to get around. The host was very communicative and helpful throughout the stay, which made everything smooth and stress-free. The place was clean, comfortable, and just as described. This was our second stay at Lieve's place during the past few months because of the exceptional accommodations, location, and excellent hospitality. Lieve's Airbnb continues to be one of the best, if not THE best, place we have stayed at in many years at Airbnbs. The place is immaculately clean, has all the comforts of home, and is within easy walking distance to many restaurants and all the great places you may want to see. Best of all, you will experience Lieve's warm hospitality. During both stays, she greeted us upon our arrival with a warm smile and a box of excellent Belgian chocolate, which we enjoyed immensely. She provided complete instructions for everything in the apartment. She was responsive to any requests we had during our stay. She even arranged for a taxi to take us to the train station for our departure. You will be hard pressed to find a better place than this Airbnb in Brussels. We are already planning on returning and staying at Lieve's place.

Prima verblijf en een fijne host! Bij aankomst zagen we helaas dat het gas in het gehele gebouw was afgesloten in verband met een lek, iets waar de host niets aan kon doen natuurlijk. De host had dit ook gezien en heeft proactief aangeboden om een elektrische kookplaat langs te komen brengen als vervangen. We hebben een heel fijn verblijf gehad op deze locatie!

Emplacement juste « parfait »!!!! On a pu faire tout à pied. Très bon restaurant à proximité. Quartier dynamique! Très bel appartement sur trois niveaux. Très agréable. Literie confortable.

Very glad stayed in this warm place. Super-market, restaurant and bus/train station within walkable distance. Definitely will stay here again for my next trip.
