Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Ouder-Amstel

We had wonderful days in Stéphanie's house. The location was beautifully quiet, a playground in front of the door, which was perfect with children, and yet we were quickly in the city by bus or metro. For us, the perfect place to relax in the evening after an eventful day. The house is beautiful, bright and comfortable. Beds were very comfortable. Stéphanie was a very friendly and uncomplicated hostess. We felt very comfortable.

Anne's place is well located - helpfully very close to a supermarket and easy enough to get into the centre of Amsterdam via train and bike. We also found a vet super close. It's a beautiful home and Anne is very responsive.

Great and very clean place with wonderful and accommodating hosts. The house is well equipped and is located in quiet surroundings with the best public transport connection to ArenA, Ziggo Dome and Amsterdam center. Thank you so much! We had a very good time at Mike's place. The surroundings are very beautiful and the house is very enjoyable too. The weather was on our side so we were lucky enough to be able to enjoy the pool and to swim in the river Amstel and to use her pebble board too. Staying there with kids allowed them to use the trampoline daily and to play in the garden. There is nothing (town, shops) at walking distance so for that you need to take the car but the view and beautiful landscape you get just by looking outside the windows when you wake up is worthwhile!

My family and I stayed 15 days at Hester & Maarten's place and it was really nice. We traveled from Brazil and every day visited a new city in NE. All the most biltifull cities in NE was less than 50 min from the house. The rooms are confortable, and living room and kitchen are big and very sunny. My kid also enjoyed the backyard. The hosts are always availible to answer our questions by whastapp. We fell like at home. It was really gezellig. Thank you, Hester & Maarten

After having stayed in Amsterdam many times, I decided to look for something peaceful outside of the city for my family. Arnout's place is perfect and we felt at home right away. The village (Oouderkerk Aan De Amstel) is gorgeous and has everything you need within walking distance, including a 150 year old bakery and many good reataurants. Walking along the river and exploring the area was a highlight every day. Very convenient transport links to the centre of Amsterdam...will definitely stay again.

Additionally, her recommendations for places to visit and eat helped us have a fantastic time. The house is perfect and very practical for families with children. It has everything you need when traveling with kids. The garden was definitely a lifesaver, both for our child and for us. We had a comfortable and safe stay. Location can no be beat. Beautiful neighborhood. Canals and great restaurants all around. Nice little outdoor space too. Gerrit was extremely helpful with directions and alerting us of train strike. He was always very quick to respond to any questions. Thank you for a great stay!

Debbie’s place is absolutely outstanding. Huge windows overlooking the Amstel so even if it’s raining, it isn’t gloomy. Super comfortable big bed, beautiful bathroom and kitchen. Stylish but comfortable furniture in every room. Debbie is really helpful and has loads of good suggestions about where to go and what to see. But you could just lie on the day bed, look out of the window at the passing action - boats, cyclists, dog walkers - and be content! Great pub/restaurant on the corner two minutes’ walk from flat. Most fabulous place we’ve ever stayed.

Laurent is a fantastic host: helpful, always ready to give great advice about his neighborhood and beyond, and super quick to respond to messages. We asked if we could leave our luggage after check-out so we wouldn’t have to carry it around all day, and he was happy to help. On the first day, he even welcomed us with some snacks and wine, and there’s also coffee and tea available. The house is a typical Dutch home, so the stairs to reach the apartment on the third floor are narrow and steep — a great way to stay in shape! The apartment itself is clean, well-maintained, and tastefully decorated. The little terrace is really lovely . the neighborhood is a great place to stay: full of shops, bars, and restaurants. It’s well connected by public transport (line 4 takes you to the city center and line 3 to the museum district), but you can also reach the center with a 25-minute walk. This was my best experience with Airbnb. I absolutely recommend it.

Our stay at Vincent's apartment was lovely. It really was super clean, absolutely no clutter, and the bed was very comfortable. The street was quiet and away from the touristy areas. However, it was just a short walk to the busier areas and the museums, a real plus. The steps up to the apartment were indeed very steep. We mentioned this to our Dutch friends and they said "welcome to Amsterdam"! They are part of every house so we accepted this and got used to them. Vincent's Check In instructions were clear and we had no problems. We had a very memorable stay. Thank you, Vincent.

Kim is very responsive to any communications. Well equips home. Left some items by way of coffee etc to help when you first arrive.

I stayed for 2 nights in Vinkeveen and truly enjoyed my time there. The area is beautiful and very pleasant. The host was incredibly warm and helpful, and the check-in was absolutely smooth. I felt very comfortable and would love to come back. Highly recommended!

An excellent place to stay just next to Amsterdam, great location and extremely friendly hosts !

My family of four stayed at Max’s place for four nights. The location is great, with just about an hour’s drive to many popular destinations in Holland. The view of the lake from the balcony was beautiful. The apartment was clean and spacious. We truly enjoyed our stay in this quiet and peaceful neighborhood, and we will recommend it to our friends and family if they visit Holland in the future.

We had a great time in this sweet apartment. We loved sitting in the living room overlooking the canal and appreciated the great shower and overall layout of the apartment. The location is fantastic. Very residential and more peaceful than other parts of the city we have been to. We highly recommend it!

This place was wonderful! It was just as described. We enjoyed listening to the birds (wild parakeets and others) as we sat on the balcony in the mornings. The stairs are steep and narrow but that is just part of being in Amsterdam. One thing to note, there are 2 showers, 2 sinks, but only 1 toilet. It didn’t cause any problem for me, but those staying in the first floor bedroom will have to climb up stairs in the middle of the night. Overall, I highly recommend!

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Mel & Henri’s place! From the moment we arrived, they were so warm and welcoming, making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and full of charm—it truly felt like a home away from home. Every little detail was thoughtfully arranged, and their hospitality made all the difference. We would 100% stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

The host filled the fridge with an unexpected treat of drinks and wine, which pleasantly surprised us. There was a lot of space in the apartment, it was generally nice. I was a little cold at night, but on hot days it will be great. You could hear the footsteps of the people living above us and how someone was using the water, because the house was built a long time ago. Definitely a very nice garden. Very kind and helpful Host.

An absolutely perfect location from which to enjoy the city! It's a short tram ride to pretty much anywhere you want to go in town, and a short walk to lots of restaurants, shops, and lovely canal views. In the summer, being on the top floor may make the inside a bit too warm, but the windows open wide and the rooftop outdoor patio is large, surprisingly quiet, and perfect for relaxation, eating, and conversation if the weather is nice. In other words, the true Amsterdam canal-house stair climb is well worth the effort. Overall a very comfortable studio flat, good wifi connection, and a responsive and respectful host.
