Someone did their homework. Gabe's Airbnb is the perfect space. It was so comfortable I could imagine living there. Our cross country trip took us through Salina for a little family history research. My dad lived with his grandma and grandpa near there in the early 1940's and I like to check in now and then. Thank you for a great stop.

First a few words about Katie - friendly, thoughtful and easy to talk to. It will be hard to find a better host. Anywhere. The house is just what we needed for a short break. Sitting on the front porch in the evenings was so peaceful, listening to the birds, woodpeckers and petting this one cat in particular. Even tho I-70 is just down the road, you have a sense of solitude. Watching the sun rise or go down sitting on the front porch was about as relaxing as it gets. We miss that. She mentions flies but there weren't that many, and it is a cattle ranch, so those go with the territory. The house is perfect: plenty of windows to let the sun in, open the doors and let the air flow through the house. Overhead fans and box fans were all we needed without using the A/C. Surrounding towns are full of history. museums and good places to eat. Great places to visit off the beaten path; Mushroom Rock State Park is just one. If you are looking for any of the above, this is your spot. Go Katie!

Pam’s lace was cozy, warm and comfortable! She went beyond by decorating for Christmas and making sure we had what we needed. We will definitely return! Thanks Pam!

Easy to find, Luke provides step by step directions to the electronic lock and they are so easy to follow. Very nice lake close by, we came so my husband could fish and to just be away. It was so relaxing sitting at the lake watching nature. My husband and our dog scared up a deer from the side of the home after dark when they went out for one last walk. Wildlife is abundant. Neighbors of the home waved as they went by but we truly only saw a few cars on either road. Luke was very responsive to any messages I sent which were not in need of anything just letting him know something. Very comfortable, it felt silly two of us when it could sleep up to 8. Spacious feeling. Love it’s in the open. Tons of parking if there are multiple vehicles. Thanks again Luke!
