Lean back on a leather chaise sofa and be submerged in daylight from a set of corner windows in this hip apartment. Fix a cup of coffee in a warm kitchen, walk across light wood floors, and step out onto the balcony for fresh air and lovely views. Amazing views of the Canal, Bank Street bridge, Lansdowne Park and Old Ottawa South. Bright, modern condo with extra space created with a 'murphy bed' style bedroom, stylishly camouflaged. Cool kitchen & custom table to people watch on the street below, coffee in hand. Equipped with apple tv. in cozy lvng rm area, sorry no cable, hate commercials. The balcony is a sweet place to sit and enjoy a moment with a great view of the neighbourhood. Full access. The building itself has no amenities inside. No laundry services available on site. If you have any questions feel free to get in touch with either myself or my co hosts Phil and Mark via text or phone call. The apartment is located beside Lansdowne Park, facing the Canal and Bank Street Bridge. It sits between Old Ottawa South and The Glebe, surrounded by idyllic homes, quiet streets, parks, and ponds. Restaurants, shops, and bars are just steps away. Bus stop is directly in front of building and is a10 min ride to the Byward Market. Best way to get around is ice skating 100 meters away or bicycle anywhere for summer, you are in the best part of town and within easy striking distance to whatever neighborhood your travels take you to. The city has convenient bike rental kiosks set up in key locations. I don't have a dedicated parking space on site. There are 2 on site visitor parking spaces that are available on a first come first serve basis. If neither spot is available grab a street spot (it’s free but has a 2 hour time limit during the day from 7am-11pm, and no time limits overnight) and keep an eye on visitor spots as they come available many times a day. If you don't want to play that game you can use the under ground parking lot across the street and pay the daily rate which I believe is about $20. -There are black out shades in bedroom area but it gets bright in the morning if the sun is out so if you are the kind of person that requires complete darkness to sleep stay away. -I don't have a dedicated parking space on site. There are 2 visitor parking spaces that are available on a first come first serve basis. If neither spot is available grab a free street spot (2 hour time limits during the day from 7am-11pm, no time limits overnight) and keep an eye on visitor spots as they come available many times a day. If you don't want to play that game you can use the under ground parking lot across the street and pay the 20$ daily rate. -The heating and cooling is Geothermal. The AC works perfectly 95% of the time. If its unusually hot out the unit may have a little trouble keeping up to the demand. For example if its set to 22 degrees, the unit may only be able to provide a temperature of 24 degrees during the daytime due to the load requirements. In the evening when things cool off the unit will catch up to the set temperature. But, keep in mind, this type of problem is rare.

Bright basement apartment with private entrance in Ottawa's historic and desirable downtown Glebe neighbourhood. This warm, inviting space is perfect for a couple, a student or business travellers. Walking distance to the best Ottawa has to offer, including Lansdowne Park, Parliament Hill, the Byward Market and Universities. The Rideau Canal is only a few blocks away. Great restaurants and shops nearby. Our quiet street overlooks a beautiful park and public transportation is only a block away.

The living area features a comfortable sofa and armchairs arranged around a coffee table. A fireplace is positioned beneath a wall-mounted television, creating a cozy focal point. Natural light is provided by a window, with warm beige walls and a multicolored area rug adding visual interest.

Nicely appointed In-Law Suite with amenities.

The in law suite is located in the lower level of a large home in Orleans in the East end of Ottawa.The in-law suite has a bedroom (double bed) w/desk & television ; living room w/fireplace & a sofa that is the size of a single bed for 1 person and a television. Fully equipped kitchen. The laundry is on the same level & private full bathroom for the in law suite guests only. Lovely back yard. Guests can use the exercise room equipped w/treadmill, exercise bike, elliptical & weights, etc.

The living room has a mini kitchenette for light use. Two bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. The unit is only rented to one guest at a time; you will have the entire unit during your stay. Starlink was newly installed, and the internet is fast for remote telework!

Our host was friendly, helpful, and approachable. We were a large group and Peter's setup left us feeling right at home. The space is comfortable and spacious and it accommodated all of very easily. The kitchen is nice to work in. The bedrooms are large enough and the beds are excellent! (One of our party has particularly challenging needs physically and the beds were very comfortable for him!). Lots of accessable shopping so we didn't have to eat out all the time. All in all, I can recommend Peter and his product without reservation! (I mean, you should make a reservation, don't just show up, but definitely stay with Peter)

This was the perfect addition to my wedding weekend! Julie made it extra special with a welcome sign and bottle of champagne to great my guests and I! The place is absolutely stunning, so warm, cozy and just what we needed for a wedding stay with the bridal party. It surpassed my expectations and Julie and her partner were wonderful - we even had a tour and learned some history on the place. Can’t wait to come back !

My family all enjoyed their stay at this homey cottage. Loved the close proximity to the river. The back yard, being fully fenced, was great for our dog. We enjoyed a nice fire in the fire pit outside in the evening. The kitchen & bathroom were clean & fully stocked with everything we needed. The neighbour’s were very friendly, the hot tub was relaxing & Pierre was very quick to respond to my questions.

Emily’s house was a dream and is highly recommended. Our family of 5 (with 3 kids under 10) spent a week at Emily’s house while in Ottawa to help out a family member. We were so grateful for Emily’s hospitality. As we were there during yet another wave of the pandemic, coupled with virtual school, we were basically in lockdown at the house - it could have been a very unpleasant week. Instead, it was truly wonderful to have Emily’s beautiful home to feel grounded in. The house was clean, comfortable, exactly as represented in the pictures, and we were struck by the attention to detail. The communication with Emily was perfect. After a week in the house, we joked about staying a week longer! There is no doubt that we will return.

Dimitri and his mom Yvette were extremely helpful and accommodating. Apartment is well situated along the Rideau canal. A 15/20 minute stroll to the city center. Across the canal is another great neighborhood.. The Glebe.. Bank Street, is lined with boutiques, specialty stores, and local shops. A very local vibe. Another plus is the free parking. I will definitely be staying here again as everything was perfect!
