We appreciate all the details Julia put in to make her apartment so comfortable, like electric outlet adapter for foreigners, microwave oven, quality appliances. The bathroom is large with a good shower and a sitting bench. Dedicated parking near the front door. Laundry room with washer and dryer. Quick & easy communication. Good value. Highly recommend.

Wir waren mit einem 7 Monate alten Baby bei Bjørn und seiner Frau. Die Wohnung war sehr privat. Wir mussten uns keine Gedanken machen, wenn unser Kleiner mal weint. Wenn der Kleine dann geschlafen hat, konnte man sich in der hervorragend ausgestatteten Küche etwas Kochen und anschließend die Aussicht auf Bergen genießen. Die Gastgeber reagieren überaus schnell. Das Antwortverhalten war so zügig und zuverlässig, dass ich schon fast glaubte, die beiden nutzen eine KI.

Cosy appartement, wonderful hosts and good location. Definitely a recommendation

I stayed for a whole month at Signe's place and wish I could have stayed longer! The flat was super cosy and peaceful, with a beautiful view of the woods and the fjord. The Spar supermarket at Ask is reachable by foot or bicycle. Kleppesto, which is 30 minutes away by bus, has even more amenities including a pharmacy and hairdresser. I cooked most meals during my stay. The kitchen was well-equipped with a fridge and dishwasher. Laundry was also easy with the washing machine and drying rack. I had a car the first week (the flat has a dedicated parking space with the best view you could ever imagine) to visit Herdla and Hardanger. When visiting Bergen, it was much more fun to take the bus and boat! When I wasn't out and about, I spent my days reading in the hammock and fishing for pollack at the nearby dock. Signe is really lovely and kind, sharing lots of insider tips and even bringing me freshly baked bread on a few mornings. Her cats Julipuss and Sølve are so sweet too. Thank you!

Marita and Tomas are very nice, warm people. Marita greeted us upon arrival and showed us around and explained things (e.g., how to access the kayaks) in a very clear and unhurried way. They both did a fantastic job communicating with us before our arrival, and provided lots of helpful advice while there (e.g., recommendation of a wonderful restaurant in Bergen). Although Tomas and Marita live on the floor above the Airbnb flat, we never felt “crowded” by them. In fact, at my request, Tomas was able to respond immediately to come down to help us figure out the TV…and he was incredibly good natured about it. Location was terrific, too: close to Bergen and all it offers, including the focal museums, as well as minutes from an excellent University of Bergen arboretum & botanical garden. Highly recommend this place, as well as Tomas & Marita as people!

Det var kanon fint i ett lugnt och mysigt område! Inte långt in till Bergen city, cirka 10-15 minuter promenad eller 2-3 minuter med en taxi😊

Es war wunderschön bei Vivian! Das Haus ist modern und gleichzeitig sehr gemütlich eingerichtet – wir haben uns sofort wie zu Hause gefühlt. Das Bett ist bequem, ideal zum Ausruhen. Die Gegend ist ruhig und privat, perfekt zum Abschalten. Aus dem Fenster und Terrasse hat man einen tollen Blick auf den Byfjord – besonders die Sonnenuntergänge sind hier traumhaft! 😍 Ein Parkplatz direkt vor dem Haus ist auch vorhanden. Die Fahrt nach Bergen dauert etwa 20 Minuten. Wir können diese Unterkunft auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen!

The apartment is very modern and clean. Close to city center, supermarkets and restaurants. Karl responded very quickly if we had any questions for him. I would definitely stay here again.

Staying in Tyssebotnen in little family farmhouse full of history made our dreams come true. This cozy home surrounded by an incredible yard full of berries which leads to a private dock is just amazing. If you like being in pure nature in an authentic Norwegian home with just a touch of modern Scandinavian interior design we highly recommend this place. Askild and Kristoffer are very pleasant and always helpful owners.

What a unique place with a fantastic view. This house is close enough to Bergen for trips into the city and far enough away to enjoy the surroundings in a relaxed and quiet way. The house is very spacious and fully equipped. The beautiful terrace, the trampoline for the children and the separate gym are really a great addition. On arrival there was a booklet with lots of useful information about the house, including a guide with maps and descriptions of walks in the area. Communication with the owner went very smoothly. We enjoyed it immensely with our family. Highly recommended.

Großes Haus mit viel Platz. Vor allem für Familien mit Kindern sehr zu empfehlen. Sämtliches technisches Know-how, wenn man raus bekommen hat, wie alles funktioniert, sehr komfortabel. Helle Räume mit wunderbarer Aussicht. Zeit zur Entreinigung sollte eingeplant werden.

Das Haus ist in der Realität noch viel schöner als auf den Fotos zu sehen ist. Der Garten ist wunderbar, die Aussicht großartig. Bergen ist schnell erreichbar. Wir konnten Vegard kurz persönlich kennenzulernen, er ist ein sehr netter und zuvorkommenden Mensch. Wir haben uns insgesamt sehr wohl gefühlt, konnten uns gut entspannen und kommen gerne wieder.

Wonderful property in an amazing location with a magnificent view of the Fjords! The surroundings are superbly scenic and peaceful, at the same time there are enough activities to keep the kids busy (our group had 2 boys - 5 and 7 years old respectively. Karina and Erlend are wonderful hosts, responsive and considerate, and have taken really good care of keeping the house in immaculate condition. Connectivity to Bergen and onwards cruises for the Fjords is not too far, and in fact one can really do some good day trips from the property itself. Highly, highly recommended and a big thanks once again to Karina and Erlend!!

Very nice house with a splendid view. I would have spend my day just looking at the fjord and sipping my coffee in the living room.

Schone Unterkunft mit tollem Blick auf den Fjord. Alv hat sich Zeit genommen und uns gezeigt wo die beliebtesten Wanderungen starten und von wo am besten geangelt werden kann. Viel Dank nochmal. Unterkunft war sauber und mit dem nötigsten ausgestattet.

Een mooie en rustige plek met een prachtig uitzicht. Ik heb hier een aantal weken op afstand mogen werken en dat is me heel goed bevallen. Het is een ideale uitvalsbasis om Bergen te ontdekken. Vanuit het huis kan je mooie wandelingen door de bergen maken en met de bus ben je in 20 minuten in de stad. Bjarne en zijn vrouw zijn bijzonder aardige mensen die voor alles klaar staan en goede adviezen hebben. Al met al een prima verblijf gehad hier!

Kunne virkelig ikke vært bedre. 10 av 10. Jeg hadde mange planer før jeg ankom stedet, men jeg fant en sånn ro, så det ble avslapning i de flotte omgivelsene isteden. Anbefales virkelig.

Gretha and Ali were incredible hosts to us for our first few nights of our Norway trip. The location is ideal and central to everything . It’s walkable from the end of the light rail in town and to the Havila terminal. Great advice on things to do and places to eat and visit. A great sunny spot and quietly tucked away. I’ll stay here if I ever return to Bergen.

Vi bodde en natt i den superkoselige leiligheten. Stedet var lite, men meget praktisk innredet og hadde alt og mere til. Pluss for det ekstra koselige nabolaget.

We had a great stay at Tonje's place during our visit in May 2025. She was always responsive and even went the extra mile to get us an additional heater. I would highly recommend her place to anyone visiting Bergen.

Great appartement when you wanna stay near the airport but stil close to the city center. Its clean and very spacious.

Lovely apartment and very easy to find either if you take the bus or if you are walking. The apartment had everything that was needed, was very clean and nicely decorated. Ina was great and very responsive, a great host. We had a great few days at the apartment, highly recommend it and we would visit again.
