We loved our few nights stay at Vincent’s place. Very comfortable bed, quite spacious room, great air flow and very grateful for the car space on site (hard to find in Bayeux). And great local restaurants and access to the Normandy beaches. Would be happy to come back one day 🙂

Un emplacement proche du centre, un logement agréable et propre, le stationnement était gratuit et facile, nous avons beaucoup aimé Granville, nous reviendrons certainement.😁👍👍👍

As others have mentioned this is an excellent holiday flat and superb base from which to explore Normandy and the beautiful city of Caen. The flat is clean, comfortable and is very well equipped for self-catering though the nearby town center bars and restaurants may tempt you out at little more that you planned. Highlights include secure and convenient parking, excellent bathroom and shower, comfortable bed and the bonus of a lovely private garden to kick back while sampling the local calvados in the evening. As mentioned the flat is very central with a five minute walk into the center for fresh bread and croissants in the morning. Caen itself is full of surprises with beautiful churches and abbeys combined with a very laid back atmosphere. Though we did not meet Christine her ongoing communication was both discrete and charming. Book you wont regret it. 5 stars all round

Highly recommend this apartment for a stay in a lovely and quaint town on the beach. The apartment was clean, had lovely decorations and amenities, and the view out the window made us want to stay in and cancel all of our plans to tour the surrounding areas! The hosts were very easy to communicate with and had helpful suggestions to make our stay even better.

The location was great! It was so close to the city center, and everything was within walking distance.

C’est un lieu qui respire la sérénité, la chaleur humaine et la bienveillance. On s’y sent immédiatement chez soi, comme enveloppé dans une bulle de douceur et d’harmonie. Un immense merci à Valérie, notre hôte extraordinaire, d’une gentillesse rare, toujours à l’écoute et aux petits soins. Sa bienveillance sincère et son attention portée à chaque détail rendent le séjour encore plus précieux. On ressent dans chaque recoin de la maison la beauté de son âme. Nous avons été enchantés par ce gîte décoré avec beaucoup de goût . Il est idéalement placé , à deux pas de la place et de l’église de Sainte Mère l’Eglise , nous avons passé un très agréable séjour.

Magnifique logement. Situé à quelques pas de toutes commodités, vue extraordinaire sur le havre de Portbail. Très bien équipé, très propre, pratique, calme. Vraiment parfait Merci aux hôtes également pour leur accueil, conseils et disponibilité.

Nous avons passé un agréable weekend (mi-juin) dans ce magnifique logement . Nous nous y sommes senties vraiment bien, dès notre arrivée. Toutes les pièces sont lumineuses et spacieuses. Les matériaux choisis sont de qualité et l'ensemble de ce logement est aménagé et décoré avec goût. L'idée de la chambre avec trois lits individuels est top et nous a rappelé de merveilleux souvenirs d'enfance. Nous avons également apprécié le livre photo retraçant la rénovation du gîte. Cela montre l'envie et le travail effectué pour arriver aux résultats. Enfin une petite attention laissée par les propriétaires : une délicieuse bouteille de leur propre cidre.

Hôte réactive, très agréable et à l’écoute. Le logement est conforme à la description et très bien équipé pour y séjourner en famille. Très bien situé pour visiter les plages du débarquement.

Had a great time stopping here whilst on a bike tour, Noémie was very helpful and responsive. The house was immaculate and very nice, we all slept very well!

We loved Chantal’s place. We were warmly welcomed by Chantal, who provided us with a tour of her place and helped us get settled. The place felt brand new, everything was pristinely clean. Interior is beautifully decorated and everything was perfect. Chantal went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed - with a yummy cider waiting chilled for us, and plenty of tea and coffee. There was also all the amenities available (toilet paper; towels; dishwashing detergent etc). Chantal has very cute puppies and she allowed my son to play with them. We would love to stay again and will - but next time we will stay longer. Highly recommend Chantal’s place.

Lovely little apartment which was perfect for our small weekend getaway. Had everything you needed and more, nice little extras found as well. The host was absolutely superb, very friendly, very responsive when needed and despite not being greta at English, very easy to understand. Wouldn’t definitely come back at alter day. 10/10 stars from us! Thank you!

Logement trés soignié au calme et fraicheur du logement appréciable par forte chaleur . Tout est bien pensé. Tout est prévu pour cuisiner. Bonne literie. Première experience en Airbnb et pas déçu. J'ai ressenti la bienveillance de notre hôte avant , pendant et durant notre sèjour. Un grand merci à Nadine. Notifications régulières de suivi , rassurantes pour une première expérience. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans un appartement impeccable, rénové récemment, avec vue sur la mer. Pas besoin de voiture, tout est à distance à pied, on a profité de la digue et de la plage de sable fin. Merci à Christelle pour son accueil, ses consignes et ses conseils.

Great position for Normandy enthusiasts. Quiet retreat at the end of the day. Walkable town from the apartment. Host was excetionally quick to respond to questions.

We spent one perfect week at Mathieu’s place and had an absolutely terrific experience! If you’re looking for an apartment in Bayeux, this is where you want to stay, hands down. The location is perfectly situated for walking to shops, markets, and cafes in the old town center and is also centrally-located for exploring the Normandy area. The apartment is inviting, peaceful, and clean with a comfortable bed. We especially enjoy livable locations where we can hear the church bells ring, and this was no exception at Mathieu’s place since the cathedral is just down the street (with a stunning view from the family room window). The bells add to the ambiance and experience, and fear not for they don’t ring through the night so your sleep isn’t interrupted. Only good things to say about this place!

We used their place as a base for 3 nights to visit the museums, tapestry, and Saturday market--all within walking distance. We also toured the Normandy beaches and the Place de Quebec (where many tours pickup) is just a 5 minute walk away. Wonderful shops, restaurants, things to see and do--we wanted to stay longer! The washer/dryer was so helpful on our month long tour!
