The living and dining rooms are open plan with no partitions.It is a relaxing space with a carpet mat and a sofa that can seat 8 or more people. There are three bedrooms separated by a flight of steps from the living room. The walls are stucco except some so you can feel comfortable without moisture. The room is partitioned with old-fashioned sliding doors and glass sliding doors, and the bedding is Japanese futons, not beds. All windows are double glazed, eliminating drafts and noise! We had a fantastic stay here, the house is really cosy and comfortable, and the view is absolutely fantastic! I couldn't believe how beautiful it was, both at night and in the morning. We had breakfast on the wooden terrace, while admiring Sakurajima, and it was amazing. The hosts are incredibly friendly and kind, and made sure to welcome us and explain everything when we arrived, and then say goodbye when we checked out. They even gifted us some beautiful handmade coasters! We were thrilled with our stay, and hope we can stay here again in the future. Thank you again so much for everything!

Beautiful apartment only 15 minutes away from Cape Toi. My husband and I stayed here only for one night, but we felt right at home. The host was very accommodating , quick to respond and laid back. The apartment was sparkling clean and equipped with anything you might need, even for longer stays. We enjoyed a walk around, looking at rice paddies and beautiful mountains surrounding us. The beach was just around the corner and we definitely recommend going to the owners restaurant- heart of the sea. The food was delicious and sashimi was exceptionally fresh! Thank you !

Shoji's place is exceptional. It's a beautiful, roomy house and it had all the amenities we needed. Shoji was very helpful, picking us up from the train station, giving us a detailed tour of the house, and coming over on short notice to fix an issue we were having with one of the appliances.

The room is a distance from Chishuku Station, and it will be hot in the summer. If you don't want to walk, you can take the bus from the station to Shala Onsen Station, which is easy to find.The room is exactly as seen, you can directly see the sea, and it is very close to Shala Hot Springs.You can soak in the hot spring in the room, great!The Host also thoughtfully prepared popsicles (although I only remembered that I forgot to eat them after I left, and cried). But because of the humidity from the beach, there were spiders in the room, and they crawled over when I was taking a bath, and I was scared.It's worth mentioning that the Host is great!Two very gentle and kind girls, personally greeted and saw us off.They even generously let me deposit my luggage, and in the end, they thoughtfully helped me send my luggage to the station. Thank you very much!

It's funny, in the photos you might have thought that the house is close to the seaside but it's not. It's not a big deal at all, the view from the very large terrace is stunning! We had an aperitif and breakfast there, it was very nice. The house is very beautiful, the rooms are bright. It's perfect for two adults, or a family with one or two children. In addition to the bedroom, the second bed is in the main room, so if two couples of friends travel together, one of them will inevitably miss a little privacy. For the rest, I highly recommend this accommodation! The directions to get there by car should just be a little clearer.
