The great happiness

Just 200 m from the sea and yet protected from the wind, is Casa Kalisat "House of Happiness." Surrounded by breathtaking volcanic landscape, the clear starry sky at night, the power of the tides, you will find peace and closeness to nature in a beautiful living atmosphere. Throughout the village you can be undressed. Nudism is welcome here, but not mandatory. There is a supermarket in Charco and several good island-typical restaurants in Mala and Arrieta, where there is also a long, flat sandy beach, suitable for children and surfers. A protected swimming area (200 m) made of natural lava rock allows swimming at high tide all year round. A rock (500 m) with a step ladder is the perfect access to the sea for swimmers and divers. Several hiking trails start behind the house. The most beautiful leads directly to the excursion point “Jardin de Cactus”, by the famous island artist César Manrique.

Susana was a wonderful, friendly and always helpful host. The house is simply wonderful, very well maintained in terms of space, and has all the necessary accessories to live in it, including umbrellas, sun loungers and a refrigerator for life on the beach.

Large, clean and bright apartment with sublime terrace facing the rising sun. Everything is clean, very quiet place. Only small inconvenience, terrace shared with the neighbor, a wall separates the 2 apartments.

Lovely peaceful location and great place with everything we could ask for. Ginés’s place is spacious and has many areas to lounge and admire the view, not to mention swimming right out the front t door! Highly recommend and we hope to return!

We’ve just come back from a wonderful stay here. Juan Antonio was very friendly and always helpful. The apartment was very well equipped and just like the photos but it’s really the setting that makes this such a special place - right on the waterfront and so peaceful. This is a really beautiful area and the bay is very safe even though you can see the waves crashing not far away. Orzola is a lovely little village - a supermarket and a few restaurants but not much else which suited us down to the ground. Definitely somewhere to come to walk, swim, be close to nature and relax. Wonderful!
