Cottage Wipperoen has been in our family for 50 years. It is not on a holiday park, extra safe in these corona times! In 2018 it has been completely renovated and equipped with a new kitchen, lovely beds and underfloor heating. The best part is that it is in the middle of the trees. All freedom on our own terrain of 1100m2! From the cottage you walk into the forest in 5 minutes. Gees is centrally located in Drenthe: Emmen, the beautiful Orvelte and the shops of Hoogeveen are 20 minutes by car.

We live in the monumental train station of Exloo from 1903, on the NOLS railway line, from Zwolle to Delfzijl. this railway was established in 1899 and abolished in 1945. This railway is now a beautiful hiking trail! Next to our house is a completely detached and brand new renovated house of 2 floors with enough privacy and private entrance for max. 6 pers. Op wandelafstand van het gezellige Gieten met heerlijke verse broodjes of een Gieterkoek bij de bakker. Hier vind je de supermarkt en leuke restaurants. Op de fiets ben je zo in de Drentse staatsbossen met het mooie Gasselterveld, Boomkroonpad en eeuwenoude hunebedden.

Located in the middle of nature in a corridor between the Gees forestry service and the Mantingerveld, with unobstructed views of land. Our farmhouse was completely newly built in 2015, we live in the back house and the front house is furnished as a holiday home. 5 private parking spaces, a spacious garden with terrace where you can sit. 1 bedroom on the ground floor with private bathroom, the other 4 bedrooms on the first floor with shared bathroom.

Very much like 'coming home'

Welcome! Bed &Breakfast 'Mekelermeer' is a nice stay for 2 persons included breakfast. ckeck in is after 14.00 h. check out is round 12.00 h. 2 nights is the minimum stay. The interior is very cosy. You have a marvellous vue over garden and fields. There is hardly any traffic. Only some farmer business. A perfect place to 'slow down' .
