Lovely property, super clean, comfortable and well equipped for families. Couldn’t ask for a better place. The location was perfect for us as we wanted to stay in a less crowded place . But also easy access to a small city where you can get groceries. I love it

We had a wonderful 3 nights at Iren’s home. My husband and I were amazed with the views from the window and the layout of the home. We really felt right at home. We are very grateful that we got to enjoy such a beautiful home close to the city of Ålesund.

This is one of the best AirBnBs my wife and I have stayed at. The pictures do not do it justice! The views are amazing, and the home itself is beautiful. It has that old house charm, but with modern renovations and amenities. Great location, just a short drive from town and the popular activities in the area. The only points to be aware of are that the stairs are quite steep to get to the upper floor, and the shower will be challenging for anyone over 6ft in height. If those points don’t concern you, don’t hesitate to book this!

Had a wonderful stay here. Living room was comfortable. Great view and easy walk to the centrum. Able to do a load of laundry which was great. Comfortable beds. Would recommend!

Amazing 19th century house in one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been to. Stunning surroundings! Great fireplace in the living room, nice modern bathroom and kitchen. Anna and her husband are amazing hosts!

Feeling like home as soon as you open the main door, that is the feeling we had the very first moment we stepped in. Very clean, cozy and decorated with absolute taste. It is one of the most equipped places I have ever been... there is everything you can imagine and that you might need. And everything is perfectly organized and clean that it makes it easy to use and put it back where it belongs. 10 minutes drive from the house you have a 24/7 small super market open where you can get anything you need. The house deserves the absolutely maximum possible star rating and so does the host. Smart advice: do follow the instructions of the host to find it... google maps does not help. Perfect for nature lovers. The accommodation is nice and very well-equipped. It feels like home. Roar is a very welcoming host and tells us what to do in the area. i recommend it.

Friendly and courteous landlords who are very careful to make guests feel comfortable. If something was missing, it was immediately remedied. The apartment in the basement is very cozy and wonderfully flooded with light overlooking the garden.

We had a wonderful stay with our two kids. The hosts were very helpful and responsive with any questions we had. Beautiful view of the fjord and the mountains. Close to many beautiful hiking and sight-seeing opportunities. The house was wonderful and included everything we needed for a relaxing visit. Would definitely recommend to others.

This lovely apartment was very comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. The kitchen was well equipped and the living area was spacious and relaxing. The bedrooms more than met our needs and we truly enjoyed the scenic views from the living room and deck. Martin was a wonderful host and took very good care of us. The apartment is located on the ground floor of a two-story/ 4 apartment unit. So you do hear the neighbors above on occasion. It should be noted that the unit is located in a residential area so there are several local residents living close by in the neighborhood. We had no issues with this but we mention it in case a potential renter is looking for solitude in an idyllic mountain setting. It is not in an isolated area. The proximity to Geiranger was excellent so the apartment’s location made a great base of operations for our adventures in and around Geiranger. Highly recommended.

For the second Easter holiday in a row, my wife and I and our two children stayed in Kristin's cozy cabin apartment at Strandafjellet and again this year it was a pleasure. The cabin apartment has everything you need and is within walking distance of the ski complex in the mountains. Hoping to come back next year!

It's amazing! Stunning view from the apartment and very clean, functioning. the host is kind to show us around the apartment to explain everything in person & details. Would love to stay there again once got another chance traveling nearby in the future.

Yael's Villa was exactly what my wife and I needed for a couple nights while exploring Ålesund and the surrounding area. It had everything you need to feel at home and between the deck, the jacuzzi, sauna, and water access, you could stay put and be very happy about it! Yael should teach a masterclass for other Airbnb hosts on how to make their guests feel welcome and valued. He was incredibly helpful during our stay and was quick to respond any time I sent a message. His homemade sauna is impressive and a real treat after a long hike or a dip in the frigid weather. He charges a few bucks to use it to help with electric which is completely understandable. Can't say enough nice things about Yael and the time my wife and I spent at his place. Close to a bus stop that will get you into city center, but if you have a car and want to drive in, that's easy too. Don't pass this place up!

Fabulous views and really responsive hosts. The location is convenient to many places in the region, but requires a solid drive to any of them. We used this as a base for Nordfjordeid, Loen, Stryn, Geiranger, and Bjorkedalen. You could easily get to Jostalbreen north entrance as well. All of these places are 30-60 mintues away, but we found it convenient. The views are stunning and it feels very private despite what it looks like on streetview/google Maps.

Wonderful and unique property in a stunningly beautiful natural landscape. We wish we could have stayed longer to spend more time here. Easily the best lodging of our trip and likely the best airbnb we’ve ever stayed at. All of the various indoor/ outdoor areas at the property are awesome. And we were very lucky with weather and only one rainy day. It is quite steep/ many steps up and down between the main house, cabin, and boat house with additional lounge areas down by the water so may not be for everyone. Toril and her husband were also so gracious to show us all around the property at check in, even a bit later than expected. This place was very special and would love to stay there again some day!
