This place is so Serene! The views of the mountain is absolutely stunning! The days were hot but the nights were cool! A family of scarlet macaws came and hung out in the mornings while all other wildlife visited through the day. The open concept to the outdoors is so amazing! I just loved this house and hated to leave. When we come back to Costa Rica this is where we will be staying!

Casa Peces is well maintained and comfortable. The home is spacious and the neighborhood was peaceful. The pool was perfect. It was very easy to communicate with both Martha and Jessica. I would absolutely stay at Casa Peces again on a future trip!

This was the absolute perfect home base to explore this part of Costa Rica. The house was stunning, exactly like photos and descriptions. Pool area was an unbeatable oasis and we did get lots of monkey visits! Comfortable beds, amazing bathrooms with great water temp and pressure, stocked kitchen and awesome patio space for meals and hangouts. Corner store literally at the end of our driveway was so convenient. Laura the concierge was amazing, so responsive, helpful friendly! I couldn’t be happier with the experience and will be recommending Matthew’s place to anyone I know visiting the area. I would absolutely stay here again and hope I’m able to return soon!

Lovely place. As someone who used to live in Atenas I can’t imagine a better place to stay and experience it. Beautiful views, great pool and porch, big bedroom, hot water, and everything is spotless. Edward is a good guy and leaves you a paper with everything you need - contacts for taxis, restaurant recommendations, etc. He knows the area well anything you need just text him. I can’t wait to come back. Thanks Edward!

My family and I enjoyed the place very much! It is insanely beautiful, house decor is so unique and very comfortable and friendly people! The only one thing I would say is that in the House photos looks like there’s rooms outside however those are extra cabins in the same property(reserved separately) This home is only 3 Bedrooms, each bedroom has a bathroom which is so nice!

Muy detallista para tener todo lo que necesitábamos. Fue fácil la llegada. Nos sentimos como en casa. Sin duda volveremos.

A wonderful house with all the amenities you need and great location. Sunsets by the pool are incredible and a perfect way to end the day. Carlos and Nidia are wonderful hosts and will make sure you have everything you need.

Our stay here was amazing! Chris and Hollie were extremely responsive throughout our entire stay and provided great recommendations for local restaurants, activities, etc. We highly recommend a 4x4 if available for the drive and enjoyed the scenic views along the trip up the mountain. The house is perfectly designed with modern features and everything you need to ensure you feel right at home. The back porch was incredible for morning coffee and enjoying the views of the beach and jungle, while listening and seeing the wildlife surrounding us. We were extremely comfortable during our stay and enjoyed opening up the doors at night to let the cool ocean breeze pass through. What makes this place extra special is Chris and Hollie. We enjoyed getting to know more about them, the property, their vision for future projects, and you can see their genuine joy for hosting guests. They were readily available when asking questions and made sure we were comfortable. Thank you for a great trip!

Enjoyed my stay! Was perfect for a great night sleep. Waking up to the beautiful garden and mountains was very nice. Raquel’s place is very accommodating and comfortable. Safe neighborhood and very peaceful. She was so thoughtful to bring fresh eggs from her chickens in the AM. Would for sure stay again!

Gostámos muito da nossa estadia na casa da Britt! Ela foi realmente impecável e esteve sempre disponível para qualquer dúvida e situação que tivemos. A casa é minimal e tem tudo o necessário. Fica numa residencial e os vizinhos são a maior parte Ticos e super simpáticos! A única coisa que apontaria é que a casa fica perto de uma auto-estrada e há alguma poluição sonora, inclusive à noite. A nós não nos incomodou, mas não recomendo para pessoas que sejam muito sensíveis ao ruído!

Charming home just outside of Atenas in a secluded neighborhood. A creek runs by the side of the property, and lots of trails nearby to walk. Quiet area and super comfy home.

We had an amazing time at this beautiful home tucked into the jungle. The setting is very serene, with the sound of the river always in the background and the plethora of wildlife all around. The bed was very comfy, so a good nights rest was practically guaranteed. There are a few things I would note for anyone considering the home, especially if this is your first visit to the area. It is a 10+ minute rocky drive to the home off the main road, not a big deal with a sturdy car. Especially during rainy season, there’s a good chance you’ll lose power at some point, but seems to be restored quickly. Most places, including this home, discouraged you from flushing toilet paper, an adjustment from home. Being that this place is so small, there’s not a ton of privacy between the bathroom and bedroom, and the living area is not meant for lounging. That’s what the outdoor spaces are for! This was an experience unlike any other we’ve had in our previous visits to CR, I highly recommend it!

Geweldige locatie met een waanzinnig uitzicht en de hangbank op veranda was helemaal perfect!!

Awesome beach house. House was clean and very spacious. It is Inside a safe community with security and there is a local restaurant about a 10 minute walk away which you can order local food from which was delicious. Host was very helpful with any concerns and had great recommendations.

Maria's place is a very nice blend of modern and Costa Rican touches, we enjoyed staying in the home and loved the pool. The house does get warm, but there are AC units in two of the bedrooms. There are also many wild birds around, so if you are a light sleeper, I'd recommend bringing earplugs because they do get loud. We arrived at night and got a little lost. When you enter the gated community, the road forks, stay to the right and then it's your first right (it's a little hard to see the road sign at night). Overall, we loved our time in Costa Rica and enjoyed staying at Maria's place.

Casa Baru is a beautiful home and a perfect location for accessing the beach and many great restaurants. When we walked in the door my kids said, “This looks like a celebrity’s house!”. The outdoor space is beautiful and serene and indoors is spacious and comfortable. Juan was super responsive to any questions we had and he had great local recommendations for restaurants. I highly recommend this beautiful home and Juan as a host!

I booked a.night to stay at donnie and lisa's place. unfortunately, my plans changed, and I had a conflict and was not able to stay with them for the night. i was able to meet them and they were delightful. They were very understanding of my situation. I am certain they would have been wonderful hosts.

This Airbnb is absolutely magical. The views are stunning and Victoria is such a gracious host. She and her husband went out of their way to make me feel at home and make sure I was getting full use of the amenities. Everything was so comfortable and thoughtful. And their property has some of the best sunsets I’ve ever seen! Couldn’t recommend more!

We loved Pablo's place, especially the beautiful plants inside and out. We loved the area and found 2 great restaurants in the short time we had to spend there. The bed was super comfy. It was a perfect place to stay the night before catching our flight the next day. We'll definitely stay here again when we come back!
