Astoria is such a historic town and every building has incredible architecture, history and a story. Every restoration seems to respect the era of the original structure and this reflects the beliefs of the town and its people and their commitment to Astoria’s history. I am in love with this town.

Very easy self check in process. We liked that the Terrace Room is separate with its own entry around the side of the building. While we did not encounter the innkeeper or staff, response was timely by text message. One suggestion... a surprise weather advisory and overnight snow (in April) happened during our stay. I had asked to see if we can borrow a scraper to get the snow and ice off our car, but was told the inn didn't have any. But luckily the snow was easy to get off and there was no ice on the windshield so everything worked out. Would suggest the inn keeps a few tools around to help with such unexpected occurrence.

We had a great stay in this tiny home. It is big where you need it- like the full size shower and comfortable bathroom. Bed was super comfortable and the AC was awesome for the heat wave. Very walkable- 100 yards to the coffee shop and 5 minutes or so the the shops, restaurants and bars.

A warm-hued room features a queen bed adorned with floral bedding and decorative pillows. Soft wall lighting is provided by two lamps. A decorative mirror and potted plants are present, while bathrobes hang nearby. The overall decor reflects an eclectic style.

We had an incredible stay at Chanticleer’s Inn Bed and Breakfast! Dean, the innkeeper, was fantastic—so welcoming and attentive. The breakfast was out of this world! We started with a hot, refreshing grapefruit, followed by crispy, golden-brown potatoes with a perfect crunch on all sides. The spinach and mushrooms were flavorful, and the baked eggs, topped with a light tomato-basil sauce and melty mozzarella, were absolutely delicious. The food alone makes it worth the visit. We also loved browsing the books written by the owners—it was such a unique touch. The inn is just a short walk from downtown, so we had easy access to all the best local spots. Everything about this place was fantastic! We can't recommend it enough
