A quiet place by a quiet bay at the countryside. There is no public transport. The road to our place is a narrow road up the hill towards the mountain Beinisvør. By the town Lopra (before the tunnel to Sumba) you turn right. "Um Hestin". Before the top of the hill, turn left: Víkabyrgi. Our house is the last one on your left side. Luksus sommerhus i fantastiske omgivelser.

Luksus sommerhus fra 2022 i skønne omgivelser med en fantastisk udsigt, beliggende i et afsides sted med et utroligt rigt dyreliv. Du kan møde harer lige udenfor huset, og fugle bygger reder runt omkring i græsmarkerne. Der er 12 sengepladser i huset, plus 2 rejsesenge til småbørn, men masser af plads for ekstra madrasser på gulvet. Fra juli 2023 er det muligt at leje adgang til jacuzzi til 6 personer mod ekstra gebyr. 1.000kr for 1 dag, de efterfølgende dage koster det 500kr pr dag.

"Petursborg" luxury in Vágur

Luxury Villa Peter Dahl built "Petursborg" (Peter's Castle) in 1907 when he was the mayor of Vágur. Peter was a visionary man with a pioneer spirit. Among many projects he established the local bank, built the road through the village and was also deeply involved in the first hydro electric plant in the Faroe Island, located in Vágur. The entire house was renovated from 2022 to 2024 and is today a beautiful old style house with a modern touch.

Slap af i denne ældre og rolige bolig, som min bedstefar byggede i 1928, og som har været hjem for min familie. Huset ligger i en gammel bydel ved Trangisvåg fjord - en halv times gåtur fra Tvøroyri. Naturoplevelserne er lige udenfor døren. Gåture i fjeldet, fiskeri, havbad, fugle, blomster, tang, foto, maleri, ro men også venlige mennesker. Retreat eller aktivitet, velegnet til begge dele. Church building from 1943, completely renovated in 2023. The house is located in the middle of the village, 100 meters from supermarket and 10 minutes walk to beach. There are many opportunities for hiking in nature. It´s only a 25 minutes drive to Torshavn. Suduroy, luxury and cozy house with sea view

My traditional Faroese house is located on the southern island, Sudoroy, surrounded by breathtaking nature with public transportation right by the door. The 2 hour ferry trip to the island, return ticket about 11 euro and 37 euro with car, is beautiful. Newly renovated house decorated stylish and simple with danish designs. Beautiful sea and mountains view from all rooms.

We renovated this old boathouse recently. There is a rowingboat available as well. It is the family’s boat. The house offers you a peacefull sanctuary to collect your thoughts. 5 minutes walking distance to groceryshopping. Bus stop to the rest of the island is oposite the house as well. There is a bed for two people and a couch that also can fit two people

I loved staying at Andrass's place. The view, location, and the tranquility are wonderful. The home is warm, lovely, cozy, comfortable, and well-equipped. It was a treat to live in the peaceful hamlet on the sea, yet not far from great hikes, shops, restaurants, and swimming pool. It's a great base to explore all of Suduroy. The staircase to the bedrooms are steep, and took a little getting used to, but the handrails are very secure. It added to the charm:). I would happily stay again.

Súsanna is een hele lieve attente gastvrouw, we werden al opgewacht met zelfgebakken cake en een heerlijke kop thee. De kamer was heel fijn, veel ruimte boven, gezellige woonkamer, schone nette badkamer. Een fijne plaats om te overnachten wanneer je het mooie Sandoy wilt bezoeken.

We stayed there only one night, but our room was very clean and everything was in order. There's a well equipped kitchen that is shared with the other guests, so you can cook on your own, which we really appreciated. The room fully met our expectations and was totally worth the price.
