Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in Oranjestad-West

We had an amazing time celebrating our anniversary at Maria’s place. The resort has the most incredible staff! Cannot stress it enough. Amenities are gorgeous and its steps from the ocean. Can’t believe we got such a deal. Taxi and bus into town and around the island very easy too. You can also take advantage of the concierge to book excursions.

The Gold Coast Villas are a combination of single homes, duplexes and 2-story condo buildings. Mirtha's place is in a condo is in a first-floor condo. The walled-in patio is huge and includes 3 palm trees (one with coconuts) and smaller plantings at the base of the wall. During Jan-Mar you can enjoy eating breakfast and lunch outside while watching birds fly about and visit. We occasionally placed 2-3 grapes on the wall for the Troupials (look like Baltimore Oriels) to eat. By the middle of the afternoon we usually sat close to the living area to avoid the harsh sun. We knew there were 2-3 different tenants staying above us but never figured out who as they were so quiet. During the hottest part of the afternoon we could go to one of three pools. There is a restaurant, Salina's, at the complex. We did drive to nearby restaurants: Tiera del Sol across the road-upscale: 080 about a mile drive away-very informal but often fun. Nearest beach is about a mile away.

Un Havre de paix avec de magnifiques plantes et des animaux, le chant des oiseaux est très paisible et dépaysant. Retiré des gros complexes hôteliers il faut avoir une voiture pour bien profiter. Les logements sont assez isolés pour ne pas se gêner entre locataires. Tout est dans le respect. Mangel Halto est joli plage à 2 pas. Brigitte et Gino sont passionnés sociables bienveillants et d'une extrême gentillesse comme il existe peu. Très réactifs, il y a tout pour la plage. Ils sont de très bons conseils. il y a un resto chinois proche où ns pouvons emporter et une supérette qui dépanne bien. Quand nous pourrons, nous reviendrons. Tout cela va beaucoup nous manquer. Endroit très dépaysant nous y sommes restés 2 semaines donc bien profité. Merci à vous. c'était TOP. Déconnexion du monde monde. C'est très sécuriser aussi. Aucun problème.

Wir können diese Wohnung für einen Aufenthalt sehr empfehlen. Allerdings ist es in Aruba grundsätzlich wichtig, einen Mietwagen zu nehmen. So können alle Sehenswürdigkeiten und die wunderschönen Strände sehr gut erreicht werden.

La estadía en la casa de Annie fue muy buena. La casa estaba impecable, sumamente limpia y con todo lo necesario para una estupenda estadía. Ella es muy amable. Muy recomendable.

Thalía es una anfitriona muy hospitalaria, nos dio tips para pasarla súper bien en la isla, el lugar es perfecto para una pareja. Todo muy cerca. Con gusto, volveríamos! ✨

This was my first trip to Aruba and my husband and I absolutely fell in love with both the island and this beautiful condo! Veronica was so kind and helpful throughout the whole process and was quick to respond. The property has everything you need and the location can’t be beat! Walkable to many great shops and restaurants, you are right in the heart of it all. The home is cozy and comfortable Veronica really thought of everything. The building itself is gorgeous and feels safe with lots of great amenities. The view is beautiful and the pool/ roof top view was also jaw dropping! We will absolutely be back :)! If you see this review, book it! This location is perfect, with the assistance of the host we booked a rental and excursions. Everything was centrally located, so much so, I only refilled the tank on my departure. I had so much fun, the host, and team are amazing! When I return, and if this is available I will be booking, matter of fact, I will book any room they have available ! Chef’s Kiss ! And, definitely check out food recommendations by the host! Thank you all again, this is the best Airbnb I have ever stayed in, and settled my worries about being somewhere that is not all-inclusive, I yearned for nothing ! All expectations met ! Perfect little getaway in the heart of Oranjestad, within walking distance to the marina, great shopping and a variety of fabulous restaurants. Bianca's place was clean, comfortable and conveniently located. We really appreciated the added assurance of the private access and lobby security. We will definitely be returning.

We have never stayed downtown but this place was wonderful! It was so close, walking distance to shopping, water and great foods! Lying in the bed, looking at the ocean was gorgeous! Thank you for being so responsive!

We were very pleased! Condo was very clean. Washer and dryer, provided chairs and cooler, and full kitchen were so nice to have! Loved that my daughter had a separate room and bathroom. When requested, Mary immediately provided a mattress topper for her bed which was a little uncomfortable the first night. The King bed was so comfortable-slept great. Fan in the room was nice. You will need to pick up detergent if you plan on doing laundry which was totally fine. It was so nice being able to wash beach towels each day. If you rent a car there is a provided parking space in the garage so that was very convenient as well. Short walk to several restaurants and shops and a quick drive to most other beaches. Overall loved our stay here!

We stayed for 5 nights and throughly enjoyed our time here. The place was spacious with gorgeous views of the blue water of the Caribbean Sea. We were a short taxi ride from the heart of Eagle Beach and walking distance to supper market and Restaurants. I would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed our vacation at this Harbor House condo. 3 bedrooms and 3 baths as advertised. Amazing views of harbor and cruise 🚢 ship activities. Very welcoming staff, beautiful infinity pool, nice restaurant and bar onsite. Thanks Jose for great stay ‼️

I can’t say enough good things about this place! The location was perfect for us as a family with kids. The condo had everything we could need - including cooler, ice packs, and beach chairs. We loved the patio view with the pool just outside. The walk to the beach was so close and easy. We had an issue with the coffee pot and the host replaced it right away. The condo was so clean and comfortable. I would stay there on every trip to Aruba!

This condo is beautiful! The bed’s pillows and linen are lovely. I slept well! It is very clean. The kitchen has every amenity you need. Pots, pans, coffee maker are all new and nice. It looks just like the pictures! I had friends staying in other units, I felt very safe on this property and unit. If you are considering this property, try to get this unit.

Honestly one of the best Airbnbs we have stayed at. Very spacious, clean and beautiful - just as pictured. Fans in both bedrooms were nice to keep extra cool at night. Amazing views with large balconies. We went in May so perhaps off season but the bldg was very quiet. Security guards make the check in process very smooth and easy to park in the garage. All the amenities of a hotel but with lots more space and ability for cooking and laundry. We started our trip down the street at the Renaissance Marina hotel and this was the nicest building in the area. Kitchen was well equipped. Lots of bath and beach/pool towels provided. Products in bathroom from the Aloe factory was a nice touch too. We had a great time!

We stayed for 3 weeks at the Gold Coast. The house was great and had everything we needed. It even had a nice garden to chill and relax. We felt us at home and we didn't want to leave. The pool is at the end of the street so that was great also. Sam was a great host and we really appreciated the bottle of wine when we arrived. He responded very quickly if we had any questions. If possible we would definitely come back next year.

We thoroughly enjoyed a quick mother daughter getaway as we navigated a difficult situation at home. Because I had printed and spiral bound the packet of info and actually read it a few times I was completely comfortable with everything! A+++

Spotless and beautifully decorated. Nice peaceful community. Close to beaches, 2 minute drive or walkable. The unit was well stocked with everything you needed. And CLEAN!! Washer & dryer were a lifesaver- pool was immaculate and relaxing. Master king bed was extremely comfortable with comfy pillows too! Outside area was perfect for a dinner at home, grill worked well, appliances all worked well, place was perfect. Would definitely recommend and look forward to staying again!!

We loved the location if all you’re interested in is going to the beach swimming in a nice pool and having nice places to eat and All walkable. We also recommend Pelican tours, right next door. We loved seeing the iguanas all over the grounds. Unfortunately there were some things we didn’t like the buttons at the gate were often getting stuck and as a result we were stuck waiting outside the gate a few times. The parking lot is really small. We thought the floors were really slippery and the bathrooms were small. We couldn’t get the tv in English.

Sylvia the property manager was amazing, showed us where everything was and gave clear directions on how to use everything on the property. We have used AirBNB and VRBO for many other properties and this was possibly the best for the price paid! We would definitely stay here again. We had a great starter set of everything from coffee, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, laundry soap, dish detergent, paper products, etc. The grill was spotless as was the pool and all the furniture. Beds were super comfortable. This truly felt like home away from home and a great place to unwind after a day at the beach. We really appreciate Sylvia meeting us at the property for check in and check out. We have never had a property manager do that before and it was a nice touch and very much appreciated.

Our hosts were amazing, they took the time to make sure we had everything we needed and went above and beyond! The home was decorated beautifully and we would definitely stay here again.

My partner and I traveled to Aruba to celebrate his birthday. We had an amazing stay at Ben’s place! Quite spacious for just two but we enjoyed it. Looked exactly like the pictures. Favorite area of the house was the pool. Conveniently located to the main hotel strip with lots of restaurants and shops around. Neighborhood was quiet and safe. Having an alarm on the house was an added bonus though. Ben was a gracious host and very personable. He was always quick to respond. We had a wonderful time!
