Ideal for our weekend at Patoka Lake. After a day on the lake, it was nice to go back to a clean, private get away. The log cabin had everything we needed including a hot tub. Andrea was great to work with and helped make the experience even more enjoyable.

Took a trip to Holiday World and wanted some place to stay that wasn’t a hotel! The hot tub definitely got used after long days at the park and beds were very comfy. We had a 40-45min drive from the park so I’m not sure we’ll do that again but would return for a Patoka lake getaway!

Rachel’s cabin is by far the nicest cabin I have ever stayed in!! The cabin was extremely well laid out. Rachel thought of everything! Everything was labeled and where we thought things would be! Her decor is beautiful and the sheets, towels, etc were super clean and soft! Extra blankets everywhere! We would love to stay here again! If you are looking for a place that has beauty, peace, and everything you need, this place is it! Thank you Rachel!!

We wanted a cabin in southern Indiana with nice surroundings, hot tub, and access to a park…we got sooo much more. Stairway to Heaven was super easy to find, secluded yet close enough to anything we needed. The other cabins are secluded and you feel as if you’re in the neighborhood of your dreams! Speaking of which, normally when you stay somewhere the “beds” are always a risk…risk well taken! We slept so well, we even asked Wes where he got the beds because we want them at our home! Overall, this was a wonderful quaint cabin in the woods, with everything you need for a quick get away or a long stay. Fire pit, clean hot tub, grill, comfy beds, WiFi, full kitchen with amenities, so clean and cozy! Can’t wait to return!!! If you’re looking for a great deal, you have to stay here! Thanks Wes!

This place is great if you’re looking for a quiet getaway. It’s peaceful and spacious with a nice hangout area in the barn. Never have to leave if you don’t want to, or go check out the local spots like winery, brewery, food, etc. Justin and Damien’s responsiveness to questions/issues was very fast and professional. Would stay here again anytime!

My girlfriend and I wanted to do a brief getaway for the weekend to celebrate our birthdays. Santa Claus and Ferdinand, Indiana both offered attractions that interested us (the Abbey, theme park, winery, brewery, Lincoln's boyhood home), combined with a beautiful countryside. We had a phenomenal time staying at Karen's place! The area was lovely, and the cabin had everything we needed. We especially appreciated all the amenities: the grill, the hot tub, and the coffee. She was extremely kind and accommodating throughout our stay. Our only regret was not staying longer to take advantage of the fire pit! When we return, we will try to book the same cabin; it was nearly the same price as nearby hotels, but far more peaceful and enjoyable. Thank you!

We loved the rustic cottage feel to the place. Nice big lot to tie up our dogs on property. Too bad it rained everyday because we brought firewood for the outdoor firepit but were not able to use it. Home is close to hotels and beautiful hiking trails.

David's place was nice and spacious for our family of 4. Well stocked kitchen to cook, however there isn't a dishwasher and you have to hand wash dishes prior to leaving so don't plan to do a 3 course meal. We liked the cabin feel and it was plenty warm on a cold night. Beds were super firm (if that's what you like) and some of the sloppy mudding in the bathroom made the tub look dirty but it really wasn't. No shampoo, conditioner or body soap so be sure to pack your own. For the money, it was a good value and would stay again if I'm looking for an economical option for the family.

Had a couple of issues at check-in but Herbert was very responsive. Air conditioning was not working upon arrival and Herbert took my call right away and we were able to flip circuit breakers and get operational again. Had some issues holding cooler temperatures so would definitely have checked out Herbert before the heat of the summer. Driveway has a bit of a slant and undulations to it, so had some issues unhooking our boat trailer from the truck. Had to use some blocks to make it work but made due. Overall place is beautiful and worked perfectly as a place to stay as we fished in a tournament over the weekend. Did have some insects inside the cabin during our stay but is to be expected when you are staying in the woods! Thanks for the stay Herbert and have a great summer!

He was wonderful when we spoke. explained everything in detail. it's such a quiet peaceful place. no fuss if you don't mind mind the off grid stay. the kids ran and played outside and we cooked on the grill and fire pit. there's a cave nearby we visited that was really cool and the kid's had fun. love that there is no TV or service for phones. I actually talked to my children instead of them on there electronics. we went fishing at the lake nearby and enjoyed the peaceful surroundings. can't wait next time though just the hubby and I will stay for the alone time. The kids are already asking to come back! pro tip.... bring a radio for some music thats battery powered, and pack food in paper or plastic so it's easier to burn. I regret not staying longer.... Have fun and spend real family time together!

I can’t say anything but amazing things about our stay! The cabin is absolutely beautiful! There are trees surrounding the cabin and even a trail right in your backyard! The back patio was my favorite spot and we loved relaxing in the hot tub after boating at Patoka lake all day! The cabin was fully stocked! Much to my surprise as we are used to literally bringing everything with us! Our dogs loved the backyard and our older kids loved staying up in the loft area! We will be coming back to this cabin every year as long as we can!! This is definitely the place to stay!!!!

Our stay was amazing! Much needed getaway. We rode our motorcycle and the views did not disappoint! This was our second time at Tim’s place and plan to visit again next year!

Me and some friends rented a pontoon and stayed here for the weekend! This a great middle ground and home base for exploring patoka! The place was clean, organized, and everything went very smooth. I would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a place to stay.

If you are looking for a peaceful, private and at home feel then this is a great location. We love to cookout and just be at home and this is a place to do those things. No issues with anything. Thumbs up for us!

The cabin was exactly as shown in the photos. Key code to open the door, which is nice so you don’t have to carry a key. He had some essentials like condiments, spices and sugar stocked in the kitchen. It felt like home.

I wish I could give this 100 stars. This oasis was exactly what we needed for a girls trip/reading retreat. Marty was responsive and so kind. He was quick to respond and walked us through the entire cabin and how to get inside. Not only did he leave us a welcome gift, he let us have free rein of the entire property. We are already planning our next getaway. If you had any hesitations on booking this cabin, don’t. You will not be disappointed at Serenity Acres!

Beatiful, quiet property that is just minutes from several access points to Patoka Lake. The cabin was immaculate and cozy. Tom was very helpful in finding some good places to fish and hike with our kids. We were able to come back from our day trip to the lake and have a small fire to make smores with the fire wood provided and dinner on the well stocked grill and kitchen. This place checked all the boxes and more!

My fiance & I had an amazing time here for his first Father’s Day weekend! It was so relaxing just sitting out on the deck enjoying the view & beautiful sunsets. We definitely plan on visiting again!

Beautiful cabin! Had a lot of fun playing horse shoes and hanging in the hot tub. The Green Egg grill is another added bonus. Strongly recommend!
