Old Water Mill

Old water mill, built in 1850. Many of the original features of the mill have been left & been used to create a place of charm & character. Situated on a twelve acre lake, within a listed & protected zone by Natura 2000. You can eat your breakfast on the terrace next to the lake, in a very beautiful & tranquil setting. The only noise here comes from the birds, wildlife & the sheep in the surrounding fields. Owner lives on site in adjacent farm house. Many local bars & excellent restaurants.

Gîte des Roses

Gîte des Roses is situated in a tranquil village, with amenities close by, a bar, grocery shop/coffee shop, fuel pumps, electric charging station, taxi, post office & church. Bigger towns are 15 mins drive with lots of restaurants, street cafes, water sports, brocantes, wine tasting, & large supermarkets. Horse riding, cycling, chateau tours, can all be booked locally. Relax with the whole family in this peaceful place to stay, yet a short distance takes you to more lively going’s on.

It is also 10 minutes from the Oradour-sur-Glane Memorial Centre and 20 minutes from Limoges, City of Arts and Fire, famous for its porcelain.

The muleteer's blue house

7 minutes from Ruffec and all its amenities, the cottage has been set up in the outbuilding of our house, which shares a common courtyard. The private terrace, with no view of our house, opens onto the vegetable garden. We will graciously share our personal swimming pool with you. You will be warmly welcomed by Catherine and Patrick, not to forget Crème (the dog) and Boudzan (the cat). We look forward to meeting you.
