Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Oppegård Municipality

We had such a wonderful stay here. The house is stunning, had everything we could need and the hosts were lovely. They helped with local recommendations as well as making sure we had all the information we needed for the house. Not to mention the gift of some mixture for us to make traditional waffles! The train station is just a few minutes' walk. The kids particularly loved the pool and table tennis table, and I really enjoyed the beautiful walks that are possible from the property. All in all a five star stay.

A great spot to end our vacation to Norway. Far enough from downtown to be quiet and close enough to get to great restaurants. Great spot for a family of 5 and easy access to the airport! Highly recommend

I loved staying at Frida’s place. Just about all of Oslo is walkable from there. The neighborhood is full of charming and colorful wooden houses. It’s close to nightlife yet very quiet. There’s a grocery store right across the street. The bed is comfy. I highly recommend this place and would love to stay again. The only people I might not recommend this place for are anyone with mobility issues, as you have to climb a ladder to get to the loft bedroom, which I found completely charming.

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit im Haus von Therese. Das Haus liegt in schöner Landschaft direkt am Fjord. Es war toll, an den sonnigen Wintertagen die Kite Skater auf dem zugefrorenen Fjord zu beobachten. Therese hat sich sehr freundlich um uns gekümmert und war super hilfsbereit. Man muss beachten, dass es im Haus eine sehr steile Treppe gibt. Für manche Personen könnte das ein Hindernis sein. Bei uns hat alles gut geklappt und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Abends haben wir vom nahegelegenen Thai Restaurant leckeres Essen geholt. Die Bus- (Haltestelle direkt am Haus) und Zugverbindungen (von Røyken) nach Oslo sind sehr gut. Ganz besonders möchte ich mich bedanken bei Therese, die immer bemüht war, uns mit Rat und Tat zur Seite zu stehen und uns sehr geholfen hat. Ich kann den Aufenthalt in diesem liebevoll gestalteten, kleinen roten Haus sehr empfehlen. Es ist etwas ganz besonderes!

Stort, fint, moderne hus med rolig nabolag. Rent og pent, god komminukasjon med vert, og god plass til parkering for 2 biler. Kommer gjerne igjen!

My parents stayed here for a month and loved the place. It’s cozy, the hosts are wonderful and the location is close to a beautiful forest. We would love to come back.

We loved Karianne’s apartment. Perfect location in the heart of Grunerlokka, one block from the main street. Spacious, pleasant, quiet, sunny apartment, with lovely art on the walls. She left room for us to unpack and put away our clothes. Good instructions made check-in easy and she was flexible regarding our check-out. One of the best AirBnB experiences that we’ve had.

Jeg hadde et fantastisk opphold hos Ida! Kommunikasjonen var rask og hjelpsom, og leiligheten var skinnende ren og svært komfortabel. Beliggenheten var perfekt – nær offentlig transport og lokale attraksjoner. Jeg satte spesielt pris på de små detaljene, som velkomstsnacks og en guide til nærliggende restauranter. Jeg vil absolutt anbefale Ida som vert og håper å bo her igjen i fremtiden!

Eine sehr schöne Stadtwohnung, perfekt für 2 Leute. Die Innenstadt ist in 15 min zu Fuß oder in 5 min mit dem ständig fahrenden Bus prima zu erreichen.... Liegt in einer schönen Gegend. Es ist alles da, was man braucht. Lediglich der Ofen sollte mal geputzt werden. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen hoffentlich mal wieder.

Inger was not there for my stay so we had the whole place for ourselves. There is everything you could need to stay there for a couple of days. The apartment was very cozy and the balcony was a very nice touch. The location however was not ideal. We had a bit of trouble finding the bus that takes you to the center and they don’t come that often at night. The building is very quiet and private. The fireplace was lets you keep warm and feel very at home. Everything was squeaky clean and clearly labeled to let us know what we could and could not use. Comfortable bed for a couple. In short, I really enjoyed my time here, the only thing that could get better would be the location if you plan on doing some tourism but this is also clear before you book it. Would recommend!

The owner lives in the property and cleared it for us. A beautiful apartment. Designed with good taste. Everything we thought of was in the apartment. The bed is comfortable. The living room is large and comfortable. Furnished and pleasant balcony. A grocery store is nearby. A bus stop is 4 minutes away and the metro is an 11-minute walk away. The apartment is on the fourth floor without an elevator and is about 45-60 minutes away by public transport from the center.

We had an incredible experience ! The apartment was clean, cozy, and perfectly located close to all the main attractions while offering a peaceful retreat. The host was very welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. The thoughtful touches throughout the space made it feel like home. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay during our visit to Oslo. Highly recommend !

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Julie and Christian’s home for 2 weeks. The hosts were very gracious and responsive, providing us with recommendations and always available when we had questions. The house has ample windows with gorgeous natural light. My two kids, 2 and 5 years old, loved the playroom and trampoline, as well as their lush garden. The location on Bygdøy can’t be beat; a stones throw away from trails to take you to the different beaches, the grocery store is very close, as well as the bus stop to take you to the city. And, if you decide to go for a walk at dusk, you might be fortunate enough to cross paths with baby deer or a fox. We’d stay again in a heartbeat. It felt like a home away from home in the best way.

Das Haus war nicht nur sauber, sondern auch stilvoll eingerichtet, mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Die Lage ist ideal – ruhig, aber dennoch zentral/mit toller Anbindung. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns der Blick auf Oslo. Wir haben ums rundum wohlgefühlt und freuen uns schon auf unseren nächsten Besuch. We were extremely impressed with the property. After an initial walkaround my husband was very complimentary about the fixtures and fittings, although wondered about the amount of space available. I then pointed out to him that there was an entire downstairs he hadn't looked around yet... a huge playroom area, a cellar, another bedroom, bathroom and laundry facilities. We would not hesitate to recommend this property to others, and when we return to the area will definitely be checking availability!

Tor and Janne are amazing hosts and were very informative anout the location and their cottage. The cottage and location are even better than the pictures, it is a beautiful and natural location but with a clean and updated house. Very comfortable. This was an amazing way to start our trip in Norway! thanks so much Tor and Janne for beautiful memories!

Absolutely stunning place! Maybe the best jacuzzi and sauna we have ever been to. Perfect for our family trip with loads of toys for all ages. Professional Cross Fit Studio, great kitchen and workplace, fast internet and the best view ever. We’ll definitely be back!

We had a great stay! The place is perfect for families—very spacious with comfortable bedrooms and plenty of room for everyone to relax. The large parking area was a big plus. Everything was clean and well-maintained, and the check-in process was smooth. Highly recommend for anyone traveling with family or in a group!

Lise was very hospitable and communicative. We had a great stay and sincerely appreciate her providing her space to us.
