"Anglesey House" Iconic Forbes CBD Heritage Home

"Anglesey House" a two storey, Late Victorian home built in 1884 in the CBD. A wealthy merchant from Anglesey in Wales, loaded two ships with finery that could not be obtained in Australia at the time. William Thomas built Anglesey House with it's seven marble fireplaces, cedar staircase, high and ornate ceilings and sandstone stables in the back garden. This unique stay offers serenity as you gaze into the distance of our 100 acre farm. The amenities are only 40m away. Situated 30 klms from the fabulous town of Parkes and 100 klms to The Dubbo Zoo. You will see The Dish in the distance as you stroll around our goat farm. Glamping at its finest.

The Ranch

This is a self-contained unit on our lifestyle block on Goobang creek. On the edge of town within easy walking distance of the Railway Hotel and a 10 minute walk to the main street. A quiet place away from traffic, suited to contractors wanting a safe place to park vehicles. Happy to negotiate rates for longer term or regular stays. Note: we live in the building next door on the same property. We have dogs, horses, livestock, a cat & chooks. We are up early and so are our animals.
