"Anglesey House" Iconic Forbes CBD Heritage Home

"Anglesey House" a two storey, Late Victorian home built in 1884 in the CBD. A wealthy merchant from Anglesey in Wales, loaded two ships with finery that could not be obtained in Australia at the time. William Thomas built Anglesey House with it's seven marble fireplaces, cedar staircase, high and ornate ceilings and sandstone stables in the back garden. Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of room. Perfectly suited to contractors also with safe parking. Ten minute walk to the shops and town swimming pool. Five minute drive to our beautiful lake. Or visit our information centre which is also a five minute drive or a leisurely 15 minute walk see our utes in the paddock and enjoy a coffee at Thorpey's. Wheelchair friendly, disability rails in toilet and shower. Rear lane access with plenty of parking space.
