Fully self contained 2 bdrm cottage on a lifestyle farm. (Tariff is for 2 people). We have a small herd of cattle, including 3 Scottish Highlands. The bulk of the land is in native bush, with bush walks. 1 km from the Pou Herenga Tai cycle way, & about 30 mins drive from both Kaikohe & Kerikeri. With a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower, dining room/lounge - it is comfortable, warm and homely. Limited Wifi and Freeview TV available. Mulga Bill's Cottage is located 5 km south of Kaikohe down Mangakahia Rd. Totora trees abound on the property, and we are surrounded by farmland. Kaikohe is centrally located in the Far North, and is close to Ngawha hot pools, the Bay of Islands, Hokianga Harbour, Kaitaia, the 90 Mile Beach and the Kauri forests. The Cottage is only 1.6 km from the Twin Coast Cycle Trail. We are located mid-way between the coasts, so are an ideal base from which to cycle the trail.
