If you go south you will come to a viewpoint with midnight sun about 800 meters from the cabin, if you go north you will find the pier that you can walk out on. The cabin is located by itself, and yet only 20 km from the city center. 3 km to a beautiful beach. The large terrace with outdoor fireplace expands the living area in summer and winter. Low light pollution in the area provides great opportunities to see the Northern Lights! Barbecue hut and hot tub are free to use. Ideal for families with children, couples and groups of friends.

Cabin with running water, electricity and road connection, located by Storvannet in Øksnes. Centrally located in Vesterålen, in the middle between Sortland and Myre. The place is a good starting point for exploring the Vesterålen municipalities, but also possible to take a day trip to Lofoten. There are great opportunities for swimming, fishing, mountain hiking and paddling with canoe and kayak. In the winter you can fish on the ice, go skiing and also drive randonee. Free use of kayak and canoe.

Welcome to our cabin at Smines in Vesterålen! Only 25 min away from Sortland and 15 min to the nearest grocery store in Eidfjorden. Idyllic sheltered cabin by the lake with its own floating jetty and rowboat. All fishing gear and life jackets are on site! Boat will not be available from October-April! Enjoy the beautiful nature Vesterålen has to offer with many hiking opportunities in the area, and dancing northern lights in autumn/winter. Also observed a pod of porpoises in the sea 🐬

Suitable as a starting point for trips to Øksnes, Andøya, Hadsel and Lofoten. There are also great hiking/summit ski areas right outside the house. The area is rich in sea eagles and there is a high probability that you will be able to spot one. You can also rent a boat for fishing in the fjord.
