The villa in Pontevedra was spectacular, such a beautiful setting, amazing house and very close to beaches, restaurants and sights. Highly recommend.

We had a great time in Afife and enjoyed our stay at Joaos place. The location was very quiet (except the Honda shop across the street in the daytime) and Afife has not much to offer, which was okay for us but should be known in advance if you plan on eating outside. Porto is great to be reached by train and the beach is very close. With 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms there’s enough space for a big group and everything was very comfortable. The pool was open already and was cleaned during our stay. The only thing which I would point out on the negative side is that when we arrived it smelled a bit mouldy, probably due to the rainy weather and the fact that 3 of the bathrooms don’t have windows. The staircase to the lower part of the house is very steep. That’s a fact you should know when travelling with small kids. Joao was perfect to contact and always responded quickly whenever there were any questions. Thanks for having us. We would totally recommend to stay at his place.

Really beautiful home with stunning views, absolutely loved our stay here thanks for having us. Fully equipped kitchen and the space is absolutely gorgeous throughout. Brilliant outdoor area for dining and sunbathing. Garden and pool in full sunshine whenever you want to use them but a nice shaded area for dining. Only slight disappointment was the home did not have air con as advertised (it was underfloor heating) so we were quite hot at night and struggled to sleep. The heating system was adjusted and our host provided fans for each bedroom to try and help cool the house. Overall fantastic property.

It was great, Mr Rui was extremely friendly, super attentive and showed all the long super well. The house is very good, we stayed in the house above and had everything impeccable, even the sealed toilet. The pool is great, we enjoy it a lot! Thank you for your wonderful stay.

Very nice and nice place. Very well-equipped, exceeded expectations. Very helpful host and always made us feel comfortable for any clarification. He left some very good homemade eggs and the barbecue was well equipped and with very good quality material for cooking. The house has everything you need for a fantastic and comfortable vacation.

We were allowed to spend 2 weeks at Casa da Luz and had a very nice and relaxing time. The garden of the property is amazing! During our stay, the adjacent house Casa de Santiago was not occupied. Arrival and departure (handover via key safe) were hassle-free and communication with the landlord was very friendly and efficient. We felt very comfortable and can recommend Casa da Luz to anyone who wants to spend a quiet and undisturbed vacation.

The little house is a wonderful vacation spot. It is very lovingly and at the same time practically furnished. So you have everything you need. The location right by the sea is great. It is also good that there is a fireplace, it can be uncomfortably cold in the evening. I found the winter garden very practical, it heats up during the day and you can use the heat for the house. It also serves as the connection between the house and the bathroom - very well solved. We also used the barbecue a lot, especially since there is fresh fish in the fish shop around the corner. We felt very comfortable and would be happy to come back.

We had the most wonderful month-long stay at this beautiful home in Portugal. The house itself is stunning—spacious, stylish, and incredibly comfortable. It had everything we needed, especially in the kitchen, which was fully equipped for cooking at home. It really felt like a home away from home. The location is perfect if you’re looking to unwind and enjoy a peaceful break away from the city. It’s calm and quiet, yet only 20–30 minutes by car to some absolutely charming towns nearby—great for day trips and exploring the area. The hosts were absolutely lovely—welcoming, responsive, and genuinely kind. When we unexpectedly had some car trouble, they went out of their way to help us get things sorted quickly, which we really appreciated. All in all, this was a truly fantastic experience and we’re already looking forward to coming back if we’re in Portugal next year. Highly, highly recommended..!

easy to access and responsive host. a well equipped modern kitchen and bathroom, lovely setting with nice views, a short drive into redondela and around 30 to 40 mins to Vigo and surrounding area, and close to other areas, a good place to make day trips from. everything was perfect, however the air can be very warm humid on hot days, we experienced a day or so of over 30 degrees so it took until late in the evening to cool down even with the windows and blind shutters down during the day. something to be aware of during hot weather. but all in all a great place to stay ! if there's no Aircon just drink more wine .

We love our stay! The house was impeccably clean and comfortable to welcome us. Cristina and her husband were very nice and attentive! The outdoor space is excellent for enjoying family moments, as well as the view from the kitchen/living room, every day we dine with a view of the sunset. The house is very close to supermarkets, restaurants and even the beach and walkways. We really like it!

The view from this home is priceless. It is spacious and very comfortable. The power went out multiple times but always came right back on. The host was quick to respond to all of our questions and requests.

The house is a stand alone accomodation with a lovely front terrace surrounded by fields....if you love nature, this is it...close by is a super restsurant if you don't feel like cooking and about 15 min max a coffee shop...so basically you don't need anything else...

At the beginning of June 2025, we spent a week in the cozy tiny house of Clarisse & Manuel. The garden is beautiful, as well as the surroundings with village, fields, sea coast and forest. Praia de Paco is a very nice natural beach. Our hosts were very friendly & pleasant. The orange cake is a dream! Muito obrigado😀! We are on vacation without a car. The few connections of the local train were enough for us. Arrival and departure by taxi from Viana do Castrlo worked perfectly. Beatrice and Luzi

This was the most fantastic Airbnb we’ve ever stayed at. The idyllic setting is incredible- perched above the quaint town overlooking the gorgeous sea and historic monastery. The hosts met us and showed us through the immaculate home, stocked more completely than any place we’ve ever stayed, and even welcomed us with the gracious gift of a traditional local dish. We hated to leave and loved every minute there.

The experience at Dulce's family home was very positive and pleasant. Both she and her son Roberto were very helpful and kind before and during the stay. They gave us very good suggestions and recommendations. We liked the house and the outdoor space very much, both very well maintained and clean. The view is beautiful and we highlight the tranquility both day and night. The kitchen was very well equipped, there was even a good albariño in the fridge waiting for us. We recommend this accommodation.

Jose was wonderful! He was so sweet to welcome us and show us around. He even encouraged us to use the pool, which we did since our legs were so sore and tired from the long day on the Camino :-) The large bottle of cold water for us was so greatly appreciated! We appreciated his help on how/where to do our laundry. It was a real plus that his place is right on the Camino!
