In front of our house, which is sandwiched between the Hida-Buri Highway that connects the former Toyama and Takayama, there are the Nissho-bu Mingei Kan and the Yoshima residence, which are important cultural properties that show the rich cultural assets of Japan, and this area is designated as a preservation district for traditional buildings. You can enjoy the old town and beautiful scenery while experiencing historic buildings. It is a 2-minute walk to Miyagawa Morning Market and a 5-minute walk to Sakurayama Hachimangu Shrine, the site of the autumn Takayama Festival. The festival stall in this area is called Hōmeita, and it has a variety of decorations such as a palanquin and sculptures (1-minute walk to the stall). It is a 3-minute walk from Kanazawa's main tourist destinations, Higashi Chaya District and Shukecho Chaya District. The inn is located in an area where you can deeply feel the history and traditions of Kanazawa, with its traditional houses. The Kanazawa Tourist Bus stop is a 3-minute walk from the inn. Buses run every 15 minutes, and you can access tourist attractions such as Kenrokuen Garden and Omicho Market for a fare of 200 yen each way. Please use this accommodation as a base to enjoy sightseeing in Kanazawa efficiently. During the day, Higashi Chaya District and Shukei-cho Chaya District are crowded with tourists, but the number of people begins to decrease from dusk, and it is quiet at night. Early mornings are also a quiet time. Take a slow walk on the cobblestones and stroll through the ancient scenery. There are also many wonderful photo spots.
