Svandalen ski center is 15 minutes away by car. The cabin is rented to guests who have respect for the fact that they live in our private cabin and is NOT rented out for parties and private events.

The cabin is reached via a path of about 1 km with 150 meters of elevation gain. The path is steep and takes 15–30 minutes. Light luggage is recommended. Best suited for 2 people, but has sleeping accommodations for 4. The cabin has electricity, piped water from a nearby stream and a toilet. There is no shower. In front of the house is Gallery Solbakkestova with its associated sculpture garden that is always open to the public. Around the house goats graze, and you have a view of some free-range chickens, and some alpacas on the other side of the road. The house has terraces on both sides, where it is lovely to sit and take in the surroundings and feel the peace. There are also great hiking trails nearby.
