The house is situated on a beautiful plot of land adjacent to the lake, within a short walk of the nearest ski lift in winter and right next to fishing in summer. Theres plenty of parking and large space for entertainment. The host is friendly and swift to reply and address questions. Theres everything in the kitchen needed to cater for meals, the entertainment room is great for some inside chillax, and the jacuzzi was a highlight for both kids and adults.

Lovely place - we enjoyed our stay a lot. Stig and Kirsti were super helpful and reaponsive. The kitchen was the best equipped one we ever had in an AirBnB. Definitely a recommendation!

A simply wonderful place to enjoy the Norwegian upland, with ski trails from the door, super floor heating, warm historic vibe, and a comfy couch. It has two tables that seat six, a kitchen with tools, utensils and servingware to cook for a crowd of 12 (or more) and serve them coffee and wine, and a dishwasher for cleanup. It’s very well-equipped—like visiting an aunt with one of everything—so there was a right-sized ski pole when we broke one, an extra pulk and harness, plastic sleds for a small army of children, extra ski wax and tools, and the mudroom has long benches for booting on/off, and tons of hooks for hanging outerwear. When wood for the fireplace ran low, Bengt responded quickly.and had it delivered. There are tons of books in the Nordic languages as well as English on many topics including the local area and beyond. The market in Ustaoset is a short walk/ski, and Geilo was easy to reach by bus, train, or taxi for stores, dining, or a downhill ski. Love. This. Place.

We have had a lovely stay at Gunn Marit's place. Communicating with her was okay, got a quick response to inquiries. We would gladly came back.

Daniela is a lovely host who responds quickly. The place is stunningly beautiful! Everything is available to cook a simple meal. The view from the terrace is breathtaking.

We were 5 adults and 4 children who had a very nice Easter in this cabin. The positives: +Very nice and new cabin. + Large panoramic windows with lovely views of the mountains. + Short distance from the road and Haukeli ski center + Good price Things to think about: * When the sun shines on the large panoramic windows, it quickly gets very hot in the living room. negative: - The cabin is newly built so the outdoor area is still characterized by having been a construction site especially since the snow had melted around the cabin.

We were only briefly in the accommodation, but nothing was missing. The kitchen was impeccably furnished, bedroom and bathroom as well as all other rooms clean and nicely decorated. We can recommend the cabin 100%!!

We stayed at the cabin for a few days with our two huskies during my work trip recently and we had absolutely the loveliest time! The cabin is incredibly cozy, clean and inviting, pictures do not do it justice honestly. I was definitely impressed by its coziness and overall feeling of the interior. The cabin is situated on a mountain but conveniently close to the main road where we parked our car, yet you can't hear any noises from the road once you're in the cabin. The nature around is very very peaceful. Communication with Geir was easy and effortless, he answered all of our questions super fast and we felt taken care of. We will definitely want to come back again!

We had a great time with six (2 adults, 4 children) in Lieve's cabin. The cabin is perfectly equipped and very lovingly decorated. From the house you have an insanely beautiful view of the lake and the mountains and can hike right away. On the website of Geilo you will find tips for activities and hiking routes. A tip from us for rainy days: the cultural church in Geilo. In addition to art exhibitions and a cafe (at very fair prices), it offers a play corner for young children and a play area for larger ones with billiards, table tennis, foosball, chess game and shufflet table. Great stay at Rauland, a little bit colder than the rest of south Norway, but central towards many interesting spots around. Good communicating and friendly host.

Quite good space even for a large group. Cabin is well-equipped with board games and something for everyone to enjoy. And it was an absolutely enjoyable experience to have jaccuzzi there :) Well worth! highly reccommended.

Very cozy small apartment with window directly to the goat stall, which our son of course thought was great! Everything is very lovingly decorated and the bed is very comfortable. You also have a great little terrace. The only thing we didn't like so much was the many flies and beetles in the apartment, but this is probably unavoidable in the middle of nature and near the goats. We definitely found it very cozy!

Had three amazing days at this cabin. Cozy location and great cabin. Would love to come again. Recommended.

Cosy, comfortable with scenic views and the perfect introduction to Norwegian cabin culture. Årstein was very communicative and helpful as a host. One of the best stays we have experienced!

We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin is beautiful, cozy and provides everything you could possibly need. There are tons of things you could do in the area, we went kajaking, to the high-rope & zip-line park and swimming in the lake Vangsvatnet. Alf-Olav was incredibly friendly, responsive and helpful. We can warmly recommend the cabin and would love to come back one day.

We had a great stay at Arnfinn’s cabin! The cabin was so clean and presented perfectly. The kitchen and living space was large and open (perfect for a large family) and the views were incredible everywhere you looked! It was also nice to have a grassed outdoor area with a large table to enjoy some sunshine outside! ☀️ Arnfinn was so responsive and helpful, the perfect host. The cabin itself is located right near the Voss ski resort and a short drive to downtown Voss. Plenty of parking too! 5 star Airbnb. We will be back! Thanks Arnfinn 😊

Very quietly located cottage to relax. We felt very comfortable .

Perched high up the Bavallen slopes the cabin has a view across the valley. It was great for the family to wake up the sunrise. The cabin interior is spacious and very comfortable. Playing with the childrens games made for many fun times. Håvard and Mona were attentive friendly hosts who assisted at all times. A fun and comfortable stay.
