Several hikes can be taken from the cabin, as well as swimming in Lontjørn, which is located just below. A short distance away you will find Låtefoss, Odda, Røldal, Buerbreen, Bondhusvatnet and Trolltunga. Dronningstien, Rosendal, or Mikkelparken are about a 1-hour drive away.
