Vacation rentals with a kayak in Oceana County

We stayed for a 4 day family get away and the accommodations were great! We have stayed at many places and kudos to the owners here, they got it right the whole way. We will be back.

Beautiful home in Beautiful setting. Hart is not a huge town, but is centrally located between Grand Haven, Silver Lake/Mears, and Ludington so we did one day in each.

Had an awesome time, thanks so much for being responsive and helpful regarding the poor airline experience we had before we arrived. Excellent host, beautiful place.

The location right on the beach is unbeatable. Stairs lead you down to the most beautiful soft sandy beach that is private and secluded for just your family. We stopped feeling like we needed to visit other beaches in the area because we felt like we had the best one in our own backyard. The house was clean and comfortable, well stocked with essentials and lots of games and cards as well. The spiral staircase gave us a workout, but definitely doable if you can handle stairs. The area felt very safe. We would love to return!

This is a great Airbnb. Perfect for a family summer trip to the Lake. Communication was simple and smooth and everything was provided.

This was a lonely stay in the start of fall. The location is perfect for a relaxing time at the lake. House was immaculate and fit my large family very comfortably. Would highly recommend.

There was plenty of room for our family of 16. The location was great, centrally located between Lake Michigan and the sand dunes. The only drawbacks, in our opinion, is the hand rail going upstairs needs to be reinforced (my 3 year old grandson was able to move it) and dishwasher does not work properly. The saucer swing for the children was a big hit. The kayaks and canoe created many hours of enjoyment for the family. We would recommend this Airbnb to the rest of our family and friends.

Great beach. So well equipped. We only had to bring ourselves. House is beautiful. We had a really nice family vacation with kids and new grand baby . Will definitely be coming back !

The home was beautiful as well as the view. The only problems I had were the bedroom I was sleeping in had a window facing the neighbors home that had a motion detection light that kept going in all night but that was no fault of the owners. All in all a beautiful home and location.

Reiterating the other comments on amazing location, beach access, and views from deck. We had the beach to ourselves most of the time and it made it so much more enjoyable to have kayaks and a paddle board for use. The location made it convenient for our group to come and go as we wanted, without the coordination of driving to the beach. It was a further drive from the most popular tourist attractions on the coast but we thought it was well worth the tradeoff. The lighthouse down the beach is also a great place to visit and one of the few lighthouses we found that weren't under renovation. I would make sure you understand that the majority of beds are twin with a single double bed, in case you come with couples. There was a slight miscommunication from the posting, in that it seems like the hosts would prefer not to use the top bunk beds unless required to for the number of people. Our kids were disappointed but quickly got over it for the beach experience.

Elizabeth was a great host with a beautiful property. She was extremely communicative and helpful, the porch and views were amazing. Be prepared for a lot of steps down to the beach, but definitely worth it for the soft sand clean water and private beach.

It's like coming homing! Everything in the listing was as expected. We arrived a bit later than planned and I can't tell you what a godsend it was to find the coffee in the cupboard the next morning! La Bella Vie is peaceful, we loved the walk to the beach and the neighbors were very friendly and welcoming - you can tell they appreciate the care Linda & Greg take when accepting rental requests. All 4 of the Grandkids (8 - 19) enjoyed the cottage (it was great to see them off their phones and playing board games!) and I appreciated having so many attractions not only nearby, but included in the information the hosts sent prior to our arrival. I can't say enough great things...wonderful hosts, great cottage and a beautiful setting. The next West Michigan vacation we take will certainly have La Bella Vie on the list! Thank you!

We had the most wonderful 3 night stay with 2 of our granddaughters which are 21 and 12. We all took advantage of the outdoor activities, we played scoop ball, basketball, the girls played in the sand on the private beach, we used the kayaks to see the beauty from the middle of the lake. Loved the 2 decks and the ground level patio which was covered and also a nice dock for fishing. Loved watching lots of turtles sun on the log near the dock. Lots of shade on the 2 decks. Loved the fire ring on the beach which we did enjoy a fire one evening. The indoors is spacious with comfortable furniture, plenty of nice cooking supplies with all the condiments needed for cooking. No dishwasher which was no problem, we brought paper plates. Can sleep a lot of people, has 4 bedrooms. We have already planned our return for next year, we loved this beautiful quiet place so much!! So much to do to disconnect and be off our phones.

We had our 12th annual Grand Valley Colleges friends reunion! We all agreed the piney woodwork around the home, the envelope of pines and forest, generous beach and choice of deck beach views fit exactly what we needed. The expected steps to the private sandy beach were very doable for us aging folks. We managed to make meals for 10 with no problem in the small kitchen which is wonderfully stocked with everything anyone would need. We laughed and talked a bit too long after curfew so I hope we are forgiven for that. It's hard to control when we only get together once a year. We all want to express a huge thank you for sharing this home with us and for all the good energy provided. ❤️

We had an amazing stay, the cabin/cottage was just as pictured and was cozy but also surprisingly roomy inside and had a great layout with comfortable furniture. A great spot especially for families, the kitchen was well stocked with plates and utensils, and main area had games and toys for the adults and kids. Outside, they also provided lots of extras for activities with the kids, including a clean sandy area next to the lake with toys and a paddle boat which we enjoyed. The dock provided A+ fishing. Loaded with Bluegill AND very healthy Largemouth Bass. Location couldn't have been more perfect, secluded but with great access to the off-road sand dunes park (approx 6 minute away), and Dune Town (only about 3 minutes away). The backyard had great ambience with the lights, hammocks and patio furniture perfect for chilling. Very clean and tidy, everything worked as it should.
