A Frame with Mountain Views, Walk to National Forest Trails

This modern rustic cabin provides an escape from city life. Hike the nearby trails through the National Forest, a 5-minute walk from our front door. Cozy up with a book on the deck while enjoying the fresh air and bird watching. Inside, the floor-to-ceiling windows and exposed beams frame a long distance view out over the forest - it feels like no one else is around for miles. And if you must work remotely, you can count on fast Wi-Fi (>50mbps). Our cabin is perfect for design minded travelers who want an escape to the woods. There is a bedroom on the main level and a loft upstairs (each has a full size bed). The kitchen is fully equipped (including a Keurig coffee machine stocked with coffee and cider), and all bathroom necessities are included. Media amenities include Apple TV with access to HBO Go, Hulu, and Netflix, as well as a bluetooth speaker to play your own tunes. The entire cabin is available for the exclusive use of guests during their stay. Guests will self check in/out via electronic lock and keypad. My wife and I will always be available by cell phone if you have questions, and we have a lovely neighbor on the mountain who's available to assist on site when needed. We visit the cabin about once a month to unwind from city life ourselves, and we make it available to guests when we aren't around. We fell in love with the place and hope you do too. Halfway between Lake Arrowhead and Big Bear Lake, Arrowbear is a serene hamlet in the mountains. This is a quiet neighborhood, not a tourist trap. You can walk from the cabin to hiking trails, a diner, and a park with playground. A short drive will get you to lake activities, local shops, and restaurants. Very close to Snow Valley Ski Area. Parking is available on site. Personal car is recommended to get around the mountain, although there is a Mountain Transit bus stop near the cabin. If you come up in winter, please be prepared with tire chains and/or four wheel drive, and be sure to check weather conditions before you depart.

The most stunning sunset you have ever experienced with a scenic view of Lake Arrowhead in the distance! This rustic cabin sits on the edge of the San Bernardino Mountains, and has everything you need to get away. Green Valley Lake is located at 7200 feet making it the highest village, meaning more snow in winter and cooler temps in the summer. There is a swimming beach w/ lifeguards, boats to rent, and a well-stocked fishing lake 5 minutes away. We’re close to the ski slopes and hikes too.

Enjoy the Hot Tub and deck surrounded by towering Pines. Feel like cooking? Prepare your favorite meals in the kitchen or on the Grill.
