A charming little pink house sitting on a hill overlooking the Mozambique mountains, with a waterfall situated on the grounds (seasonal). Shongwe is an old house, if you love old fashioned homes you will fall in love with its restored old school charm & modern touches. Enjoy glorious views & the peaceful serenity it has to offer.

Our home set in a serene, secure private village, complemented with it's own dam and wildlife. 4 large bedrooms and 4 baths to yourselves while you relax and enjoy what the Eastern Highlands has to offer. Pool table, ping pong, darts, and some board games, various tv channels, and the complimentary unlimited WI-FI will keep you entertained. The solar system will reasonably keep you well lit, while 2 large solar geysers provide constant hot water!

KHH Stone Cottage at John Galt Village Main Gate

The lovely stone cottage has a stream nearby and amazing views. There is a barbaque/braai area. We use solar power only for lighting and sockets and gas for the hob and oven. This does not support microwave, or element based gadgets. Please book this if you're truly looking for a peaceful time to unwind and are a nature sort of person happy with antique type furnishings as in the photos. WiFi can be erratic due to mountain terrain.

Marvellous mountain views for miles down the Cumberland Valley. The cottage is nestled in unspoiled Msasa woodland in the Juliasdale area of Nyanga, Zimbabwe . There are walks down to river pools where you can swim. It is 40 kms to Nyanga town. You need to be self sufficient in food - this is self catering. It's a good idea to take toilet paper in case the emergency supply has expired!
