Enjoy the feeling of backwoods seclusion in our cozy, rustic mountain cabin. Only a 500m walk from the farmhouse, this private cabin is nestled at the edge of the forest overlooking the fields of the Canoe Valley. It backs onto the Rocky Mountains and has views of the Monashee and Caribou Mountain ranges. This is a walk-in cabin, so you will need to be prepared to carry what you need in. Kitchen supplies and bedding are provided. There is no running water and the bathroom is a pit toilet.

Take in all that nature has to offer in this unique getaway, without the need for your own camping gear or busy campgrounds. Escape and unplug while you explore the gorgeous Parkland landscape & private preserved wetland lake. The area has plenty of wildlife to keep you entertained, so bring your camera or binoculars.

Trappers Cabin on a Sleddog Farm

Spend the night in a unique setting and company. Kilyan and Anna live with nearly 30 sled dogs at the Rocky Wolf Ranch. The trapper's cabin sleeps two and is lovingly furnished. With a view of the horse paddocks and dog kennels, you can enjoy breakfast or sunbathe on the veranda. The ranch is located directly on Prairie Creek. Here you can fish, swim, or simply enjoy nature. Programs with the sled dogs are available as an option.
