Cabin vacation rentals in Northumberland Strait

I had a great stay! The place was cozy and exactly as described. The host was friendly and responsive, and check-in was super easy. Away from people in beautiful forest! Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others!

This place was just a gem!! Exactly what we were looking for. It rained the whole weekend but still was able to watch the river and nature full view from inside. The hot tub was great no matter the weather. Would have been beautiful to have a fire beside the river but next time. Perfect place to unwind!!

This cabin was the perfect setting for a couple’s getaway. Hot tub and outdoor shower were great. Cabin was very clean and comfortable. It wasn’t far to get there, but once we were we felt like we were in a whole different place. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to unwind and relax.

We had a great stay at Joel & Janelle’s ! We loved the neighbourhood and location was amazing with so much close by. The house was a great stay with fully loaded kitchen, lots of towels, everything we needed to be comfortable. Great spot for our family to stay. Our host were also extremely responsive to any questions we had and left us some nice suggestions on restaurants and activities! They are great hosts, with a great cottage with the perfect location, highly recommended!

Our first word the moment we stepped into the cabin was: "wow!" We were just looking for an intimate way of celebrating my son's birthday, we didn't know we were in for a treat. This place is the epitome of 'home away from home.' Everything about it was well-thought of. Wether one is looking to take a break out of daily routine or craving a relaxing and refreshing weekend getaway, this is a perfect place to be. The hosts were very accommodating and made their presence felt in the smallest of details. They made sure we have everything we need and we are well taken care of without having to be there physically. Upon checking out, we felt like it was a very short stay and we end up wanting to come back rightaway. This place is worth every cent and definitely worth the wait.

Absolutely LOVED this little cottage! Fully stocked kitchen supplies, adorable decore and the best thing besides the hot tub… a record player and some records. We loved our overnight stay! Would highly recommend ! My only complaint and there is nothing to do a about it is it is close to the road. This will NOT stop me from telling people and will not stop me from booking again for my daughand her husband! 5 out of 5 stars for sure

We had the best time at Rolf’s place! The cottage is beautiful, and the surrounding lake and forest were very peaceful. The hot tub and screened in porch were amazing, we spent most of our time there. Rolf was very responsive to messages, and an all around great host. We’ve already booked another trip back!

A great home base for a much-needed vacation! The location was secluded and off the beaten path, but we really liked the peace and quiet! An easy drive to Charlottetown, PEI National Park, and Cavendish for day trips, and multiple beaches within a few miles of the cottage, so we were able to catch sunsets on the beach while we were there. Spotlessly clean, with lots of little touches to make life easier, like a washer/dryer, plenty of dishes and cookware, and the electric car charger (my husband was thrilled!!). The hot tub was also a fun bonus. Thank you, Katie!

This little cottage is placed in the best location near Tatamagouche. The sunsets are gorgeous and the cottage has everything we needed for the weekend. We enjoyed our peaceful stay!

Beautiful, cozy little spot on the ocean. Clean house with comfortable beds. Nice beach to roam just footsteps from the back door.

We loved our stay at Paul’s place. It was clean, comfortable, and close to beaches and places to eat. He answered any questions or small issues we had promptly and was very communicative.

Nic was very welcoming and helpful. Our place was exactly how the picture represents it. We had coffee, dishsoap, towels and dishes towels and paper towels. The beds were comfortable and clean. the TV worked well as did the internet. there was beach at low tide easily accessible. All in all a wonderful experience.

We always look for distinctive lodging when we travel and the church was so unique. Excited it was dog friendly - usually our biggest challenge! Down to earth ,comfortable and everything we needed.Quiet,great star gazing and nice trails.Our hound loved it! Lovely getting a wave from the garden on the way in and enjoyed a chat with John when we left. Very genuine nice family sharing a very special place.We' ll be back!

Awesome place to stay on our motorcycle tour of NS and Cape Bretton. Fantastic host and accommodations! Peaceful, clean and quiet. We would definitely recommend this place and book it again!

As a retired home renovator, I was extremely impressed by the innovative personal design of almost every part of the shanty being handmade. The last 2 1/2 years that I’ve been living in the Canadian maritime (NB) away from southern Ontario, seeing the outside the box innovation for ecological use of construction materials (and reuse) to make wonderfully appointed buildings projects. East coast decor styling makes for a calming, rustic and charming pleasant stay in this shanty cabin. Kim made me feel welcome as soon as I pulled up in my vehicle. The cabin is extremely clean, simply laid out, airy and comfortable. The fresh ocean breeze mixed with the pleasant cedar wood sent of cabins main construction material only adds to the relaxing atmosphere. I would highly recommend a stay here, I’m sure the next time I visit PEI I’ll be booking here again. Thank you so much Kim for allowing me this last minute booking, otherwise I would have missed out on this wonderful experience at your place.

The views here are stunning. If you’re looking for an extremely private, cozy retreat to unplug this is the place.

Absolutely outstanding cottage. Very clean, peaceful, great spot right on the water. Host was extremely friendly and helpful. No issues whatsoever, everything was perfect. A great location from which to explore beautiful PEI! Highly recommended!

Lovely cottage and very well equipped and kept. Cottage has a very nice peacefully view of the river. Dara & Harold are lovely people. We were there during winter. PEI weather can be a bit challenging but they were always checking in on us. Made us feel right at home!

Erik and Gemma’s cabin was the perfect place for our annual mother-daughter trip! The cabin is quaint and cozy and we loved spending evenings in the living room with the wood stove going. The cabin was also pristinely clean with lots of linens provided! It was the perfect distance from North Rustico to walk into town for breakfast, dinner, or a mid-day ice cream snack! Erik was a wonderful host and made our first time in PEI so special!

Cozy little cabin right beside Parrsboro and right on the gravel beach by Partridge Island. The interior is functional and pleasant. The pine interior and skylights are spectacular! Only 2 small things that could be improved: not a lot of hot water so showers must be short, and no stovetop/oven (but there is a BBQ). Overall a great place to stay to enjoy the area :)
