Gypsy Waggon - A villa on wheels

AntonyRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Great stay in this great wagon! Sure, it's quite far from the city but that's what makes it really interesting! It's about 30 minutes the first time on foot but once the bikes are taken, it's 5 minutes to get to the bus stop! The landscape is breathtaking, the peaceful atmosphere is really exotic and the breakfast is really the little extra, and then delicious! If you're looking for a place to stay nearby, go for it, it's worth it!
A wooden pipokar is shown, featuring a spacious wooden deck with outdoor seating. Two windows with white curtains are visible, and a bicycle is parked beside a blue trash bin. The surrounding area includes green grass and pathways leading towards the entrance.

This place is really nice as it’s only a cheap Uber ride into Amsterdam or you can use one of the bikes that they provide. The breakfast given each morning was a real treat and waking up to the sound of birds and cows each morning was a great way to start the day before heading off into the city for adventure.
A dining area is highlighted with a wooden table surrounded by four chairs. Two pendant lights hang from the ceiling, illuminating a textured wall featuring a map design. Natural light enters through a window, enhancing the inviting atmosphere.

We had the most wonderful stay with Anime and Alex at their farm. They were so kind to show us around the farm full of horses, cows, and sheep. They also provided us with delicious breakfast including their own homemade sheep cheese! The amenities were very clean and comfortable. It was very peaceful with beautiful views and yet close enough to the city.

Cozy Pipo wagons!At DenHelder Beach!

FloraRating, 5 stars25 months ago
If you are looking for an alternative accomodation, not too far from the city and want to experience farm life or love to horse riding, this is the right place for you. Do not expect something luxurious here as it's a very simple place, but nice people and interesting community. It's perfect if you have dogs as they can walk freely and it's not dangerous for them as the road is far away from the farm. Thanks Stefan. Flora and the two dogs.

ThomasRating, 5 stars9 months ago
We came from France and the place was very pleasant host very welcoming despite the language barrier, we were able to understand this. I really recommend it. On the other hand, beware of mosquitoes there are many. Other than that it was a great stay close to animals and nature.

Cozy caravan walking distance to the beach

CarolinRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a great time in Petten! A good location to visit cities or just enjoy the peace and quiet and walk right in the dunes. The beach is within walking distance and easy to reach. For the summer a wonderful place to stay, the nights got really fresh now in April - but there are auxiliary heaters for that!

We had a wonderful stay in the vintage camper which was quite charming. Ellen and her husband were super hospitable and the recommendations for things to do in the area were spot on and made our days quite fun. The farm animals were friendly and were happy to be pet. Would definitely stay with them again!

Private island with glamping hottbub and boat

ZekeRating, 5 stars15 months ago
Absolutely charming (and huge!) island in a gorgeous part of Holland. Highly recommend if you are looking for a peaceful retreat in the countryside - the hottub was an absolute dream! Eva and Marten were exceptionally helpful throughout the stay. Very easy to get to Amsterdam and any other place you'd like to visit as it's well connected via public transport, but do note that you need to be back at the island before sundown as you cannot navigate to it with the motorboat at night (so don't expect to have a rowdy night in Amsterdam before heading home!) A few things that I'd like to make obvious in case it's not obvious from the listing: 1) Island is in the middle of nowhere, which is perfect, but I didn't realise it was a proper 10-15 boat ride from mainland. Absolutely fine phone/signal reception. 2) Outside shower only, and it ain't warm. 3) Wood is priced at about £8 a bag. 4) Other than the barbecues, there isn't much to cook with. 5) Two wonderful restaurants in Vinkeveen!

Oldtimer caravan near beach at camping Bakkum

Lisa-MarieRating, 5 stars21 months ago
The caravan is located on a modern and quiet campsite where many families vacation. The car is really very cozy and really well equipped. From standard toys, a couple of spices to full kitchens, and barbecue equipment, everything is handled. But as a result, there is little space for personal belongings. The path to the stand is about 15-20 minutes at foot through a beautiful dune landscape. Unfortunately, the bikes were also recently stolen, so we couldn't use them. There's a free shuttle bus that goes from the train station to the campsite to the sea. The beach is really very nice, you can watch great sunsets. There are also beautiful restaurants at the campsite as well as by the sea. In general, we felt very comfortable and had a nice time there.
A well-maintained caravan is situated among tall trees, showcasing large windows that invite natural light. A retractable awning extends over the entrance area, providing shade. Surrounding seating areas are composed of wooden benches and planters, enhancing the outdoor space for relaxation.

Cozy caravan with awning.

DavyRating, 5 stars10 months ago
Can't say anything but praise for Moniek and Thijs. Thijs came by for instructions about the caravan, which we appreciated very much. In the meantime, Moniek has informed me if everything was good that I really liked. And also not unimportant: since they had no other tenants, we were allowed to go as we wanted on the day of departure, that was really great! You haven't experienced anything else! Thijs and Moniek, you are really top people, thank you for this unforgettable holiday!
A bright and airy living space features large windows, allowing ample natural light. Comfortable seating arrangements with floral-patterned cushions are situated around a small coffee table. A decorative hanging light and a cozy rug enhance the welcoming feel of the room.

Nice mobile home on Camping Bakkum

TatjanaRating, 5 stars34 months ago
Christa is a great host! The contact with her was perfect. She responded quickly to requests and had informed us well in advance. We spent 2 great weeks vacation in her caravan. The caravan is very nice, clean, tastefully furnished and has ample space for a family of 5. The bedroom is very cosy so 3 kids have their own bed. The living space has plenty of space and it offers a lot of toys to discover. The cooking area is equipped with a good gas stove, fridge, enough dishes, running water and a coffee machine. What more do you need? In front of the caravan, the spacious terrace, hammock and trampoline invited you to linger. The large playing field is only a few meters from the caravan and loved by every child, at any age! The washhouse/toilet house is in the immediate vicinity. We were not at Camping Bakkum for the first time and it was also not the last time. We enjoyed Christa's place so much, so we'll definitely be back!

Unique American School Bus!

JochenRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We booked the cool school bus as a family. The children and we were very excited about the great expansion and especially the beautiful separate outdoor seating. In the morning from 10 AM, there was always feeding of the animals, goats, chickens and rabbits. On Easter weekend, Freddy and his team organized loving activities such as campfires with stick bread, Easter crafts and games. On Sunday morning there was a delicious Easter brunch and we had a nice conversation with the other campsite visitors. We were lucky that the flower days were just taking place in the nearby village of Anna Paulowna. Great flower mosaics and tulips in all shapes and sizes could be discovered there. We highly recommend the location😃.

Caravan with veranda & privacy

PerRating, 5 stars11 months ago
We felt very comfortable. The place is very cozy, we didn't miss anything, our son was also happy, he played a lot with Playmobil there. We often go to the sea with our toddlers in the handcart. The campsite is a dream for young and old. Our children especially liked the water playgrounds. The washrooms are very close, so you can also go to the bathroom quickly at night. On the lawn in front of the trailer, we often lay under the umbrella on a blanket. You can buy everything at the campsite in the supermarket. Really, really everything is highly recommended. The hosts are also so nice and helpful.
