Tommy and Janet were very responsive! They were extremely friendly and went above and beyond to make our wedding weekend special. The house was a wonderful experience!

Incredible home! So clean, and roomy. Great home for a large group, even though it was just two of us and our dog. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything that we needed to cook meals. Tons of beach gear, chairs, coolers, towels, toys. This home truly had everything. This is a great location that is two blocks from the beach. Even though the street to the beach was blocked by construction when we stayed there, we never had issues accessing the home. Krista was incredibly gracious and it was no problem for us to check in a few hours early. We would 100% book again!

I had a wonderful stay at Kate’s home, it was easily 3 minutes to the beach, she had all the needed cooking utensils and even more! And even had some bathroom essentials that was really appreciated

Nicholas was a great host! He was very responsive, checked in with us to make sure everything was going well, and was flexible with our check in. I would highly recommend staying here. We would love to come back!

Matthew’s home was beautiful and comfortable. As a group of 8 we were a little worried about space. But this spot was perfect!! Walkable distance to the beach in a quiet area. And we had plenty of room both inside and out.

We had an amazing time. The house was perfect for us. We really enjoyed the pool and short walk to the beach. We could hear the ocean from the master suite. The upstairs deck had view of the water. Everything about our stay was perfect. The area was nice and was quiet and peaceful. We will definitely go back and stay longer next year. Thank you!!!

This place is so amazing from the way its decorated to how clean everything is in every room..it has anything and everything you would need for the beach or in the beach house and a quiet neighborhood i will definitely be staying here again 😊

The host was so kind and made sure we had a comfortable stay! The AC ended up not working due to an accidental mishap when she was working on her yard! She was able to get the AC fixed as we arrived to the Air BNB and we had the coolest room ever ( which we love) especially on a hot day! We are thankful for the time she took to get that done ASAP! She also had a wonderful cute cottage with all that you’d need for a short stay! It was equipped with great dishes and all the things you’d need for a perfect stay in a home :) it was extremely clean and decorated nicely for your small family! It also has a beautiful back yard oasis to sit out and relax or go for a swim :) you won’t want to miss this Airbnb!! Located near the beach and a great park and walking paths for you kiddos!! All you need nearby just a short walk away!! It was a great getaway for the weekend with a very kind host who is always there to help if needed :)

This is my 2nd stay in Krystal’s Air BNB. This was the place I knew where I feel safe and comfortable at. The location is close great restaurants and shopping locations. The neighborhood is very quiet. Krystal is responsive, friendly, and respectful. When I do visit VA again I’ll probably be at this particular Air BNB!

The house was super clean when we got there, the temperature of the house was great the entire stay. The pool was certainly clean, but since we went early, June the water was a little bit cold, but it felt really nice and refreshing honestly. There were three beach chairs and a wagon there that were helpful for traveling to the beach. There were available cups plate, utensils, and all the necessities that you would need, they even had shampoo and conditioner bottles there for us. We weren’t aware that there was a code to get into the house so instructions for check-in were a little bit unclear, but all I had to do is message and they responded. Overall, I would recommend staying here because even though the area surrounding isn’t the nicest, I felt safe the entire time at that house!

We enjoyed our stay and found everything to be as described/pictured. It seems like an ideal spot for a family vacation within easy walking distance of the beach, park and A.R.E. Center. Two things to note are that the building is on the older side with all of the charms/character of historic buildings (i.e. uneven floors in kitchen, low toilets, older fixtures, etc.) and it is not handicap accessible.

This place was the most charming airbnb I have ever stayed in. Badria and Jay made every detail of our stay perfect with all of their extra touches, including saltwater taffy and a box of croissants, slippers and a lavender mask, and a fully stocked coffee station with syrups. We instantly felt at home and in vacation mode at their place and literally laid out on the dock the entire time. A perfect spot for kayaking, laying out in the sun, and I even brought out my mat and did some yoga on the dock. The views were unreal. The couch was so comfortable I accidentally fell asleep there the whole night and woke up to the gorgeous window views. Amazing hosts and location!

Dave & Anjeli have truly done a wonderful job with this Airbnb. Airbnbs often don't live up to their marketing but I think this is the first one I've encountered that greatly exceeded even our wildest expectations. There's something for everyone whether you're into gaming, music, cooking, the outdoors, or want easy access to town. The house was spotless, fully outfitted, effortless to check in and out, and Dave was perfectly communicative, always available when needed and on top of anything that came up during our stay but never felt overbearing in any way. This was the best experience I've ever had with an Airbnb and we would be happy to stay here again. A word to the wise- the Ladybug is surrounded by a nature preserve so it was buggy with both natural pollinators but also mosquitos and ticks which should come as no surprise given the timing of our stay. Make sure your pets are up to date on their tick preventatives and don't forget your personal pest preventatives. Thanks again!!

This is a great spot in Virginia Beach! I grew up in VB and was so happy with the location, the space and the backyard. Will absolutely be back!

Brian’s place had everything we needed to make for a relaxing vacation. It was easily walkable to the bay and within 30 mins to all the things we wanted to explore. Loved the layout of the house and the game room ❤️

What an amazing stay! I've never been satisfied with an Airbnb, the photos always are so much nicer than the reality - but Big Blue was actually even better than advertised! Merlyn's communication prior to arrival made things very easy. Accessing the unit was simple, and I felt safe with the self-locking doors. The unit was clean and so comfortable, with many personal touches - I instantly felt at home. I was overjoyed when I arrived and toured the unit. Really exceeded my expectations which was such a different feeling than all the other Airbnb I've rented over the years. The beach access was tidy and pretty, the gym and beach gear a nice touch, and the foot wash station was appreciated after my morning walks with the dog. I really can't say enough great things about my stay here. Hosts were friendly and helpful every step of the way. We mostly spent our time traveling around the area from VA Beach to OBX so I can't speak much about Norfolk/Ocean View. I would def rent Big Blue again.

Wow! What a lovely place. We were in Va Beach to celebrate our grandson’s high school graduation. So, a magical and celebratory it was going to be. Upon walking in the feeling we got fit right in to our frame of mind and plans. We booked here for the closeness, privacy and it’s dog friendly. We ended up leaving our standard poodles at home so we could have the freedom to allow us hours away to play, and celebrate. I am already looking to come back, I will definitely rebook here and bring the dogs. Words can not describe the comfy home, the private street, how close it is to everything, provided by a thoughtful and caring host. You will just have to take the trip, stay here and see for yourself. It was our 1st Airbnb stay anywhere and Mike and Sue certainly provided the best place and exceeded all expectations. We had a great family visit at this house. We really enjoyed the pool and whole house was very comfortable and clean! It was nice to just hang all day by the pool or top for a sanctuary from a long day of events. Sabrina was very attentive and responsive with questions and situations, appreciate her flexibility as a host!

Andria was an accommodating host who communicated and assisted to our needs. The home is beautiful and well stocked for a comfortable stay. Great location to restaurants and the beach within walking distance. Our dog loved the fenced in backyard. We cannot wait to book again!

Fran's place was amazing. The house was extremely clean, the beds were very comfortable, and the water pressure in the showers was excellent. The house was a short walk from the beach and was in a nice quiet neighborhood. We would definitely stay at Fran's house again!
