Castle vacation rentals in North America

We are a family traveling with an 8-year-old and a 2 1/2 year old and our stay at the palace was great. The decoration is spectacular, a museum. It was like traveling in time and our room was beautiful. The pool is very nice and big, much better than the photos. We stayed here on our last night in Cuba and they let us stay without a problem until we had to go to the airport. Highly recommended, thank you.

Emilia is an admirable person and her beautiful home is reflected in all her qualities. We had a wonderful time, renewing energy and I was very focused on my professional slopes within the pleasant and magical atmosphere. We will definitely be back, as everything was excellent. Emilia: Thank you very much and congratulations. An honor and privilege to meet you. The space is within a pretty quiet place; the neighbors we were able to meet were very warm. The entire castle area is very nice surrounded by nature. Coordination and communication with Emilia were very pleasant and prompt. She left much of the time and we not only enjoyed our room and bathroom, but we enjoyed our room and bathroom, but the areas she kindly facilitated us: kitchen, living room, dining room, garage, patio/garden. Very close to all the movement of the city, but far enough away to feel you disconnect from the city when you're there. The decor is beautiful and everything you need for a very comfortable stay.

We had 4 couples for 2 nights while our girls stayed in a hotel for a tournament at the Soccerplex. The old house was quiet and had plenty of space for us all. Jim let us have the kids over for dinner (we brought paper plates, plastic forks, etc) and enjoyed using the grill, outdoor seating area and indoor tables so all 20 people could sit and eat at once. Fun weekend!

This house is absolutely stunning! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the breathtaking views that surround the property. The house itself is beautifully designed, spacious, and equipped with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. Whether you're relaxing on the patio or enjoying the cozy interiors, every moment felt like a peaceful retreat. The only minor downside was the oven, which could use an upgrade. It was difficult to operate.. Aside from that, everything else was perfect.

Post holidays, my family and I were looking to have a quick getaway from the hustle and bustle of the Bay Area. We were looking for something extra special and Chateau St. George delivered and then some. Plenty of space for a family of six, plus very cute little touches. The red room was absolutely beautiful. The chateau was spotless, and George and his lovely wife Charmelle were very accommodating. Anything we needed, they were present to help us. They had plenty of suggestions for where to eat and what to do locally. We would 10/10 return.

Ilja was wonderful, friendly, and helpful. He was able to accommodate an early check-in so we could prepare for a wedding we needed to attend. Every amenity that you could think of was offered, down to the lint roller and flashlight, and he even asked if we needed anything else. Ilja had fresh coffee available at all times and space offered in kitchen with glasses, water, tea, etc. He was very respectful and helpful. We enjoyed the peaceful areas outside the home, and would have enjoyed sitting by the pond if it had not been raining during our entire stay. We liked the historic character and charm of both the inside and outside of the home. I would highly recommend and will return if in the area again.

I believe that Jenny’s place is the best place in Havana. There was such a peace and beautiful ambiance to the place. It felt like God was in this place. The surrounding area is perhaps the most interesting in all of Havana. We walked 9 miles and discovered neighborhoods of unique architecture, like no where else in the world.

We booked this stay to celebrate my upcoming wedding. It was a perfect space for a few girls that are so busy to catch up and reminisce for the night. The space was so stunning and unique and was everything we wanted. It was very clean and had all the amenities you would need for a night (or longer) away. Can’t wait to stay here again!

We're back!! lol. Once again we had to come back to this beautiful castle and property!! We brought my daughter this time and she had a blast from playing with bean ( the property dog), fire pit and smores on the roof of the castle, the hot tub ( which she loved so much), the boats, and etc. she loved the castle and she loved meeting Jerrod and Tyny! Which we absolutely loved seeing them again! Miss Rosalie, Tony, and Jerrod went above and beyond again to make sure we had the best time!! We can't wait to go back again!!! There's no place we'd rather be and no one we'd rather spend an amazing getaway with! We unfortunately didn't get time to fish this time however we do love fishing with Jerrod and hanging out with him and Tyny they are amazing!! And all 3 of them (Rosalie, Tyny, and Jerrod) are the absolute best, strong, and kind hearted people you will ever meet!! We love them and are blessed to have met them!!!

The castle is wonderful. It has all the entertainment and relaxation any group could need. Super comfy beds, games galore, sauna, hot tubes and plenty of space for all. Inna is very kind and easy to communicate with. Highly recommended!

Great home base for two families exploring Grand Rapids and Holland for a long weekend. The building is a bit quirky but that is part of the charm if you have kids with you. The pool was a great added bonus!

Amazing. Thoroughly enjoyed our trip and we will very likely be returning in the future! The castle is very well taken care of and with great attention to detail. Maintaining the castle and grounds must be no easy task, so we are very appreciative of how well everything was cared for. Beautiful green grass, lights that come on at night on timers, the pond & patio; all in tip top shape. The castle itself exceeded our expectations, with the highlight for us being the Disklavier piano, which we spent hours & hours enjoying.

Amelie was a great host. If you want to be near Bar Harbor, it’s a bit of a drive. If you are fine enjoying the more secluded and peaceful beauty of Schoodic, it’s an amazing, magical place!

Ron & Millie were very friendly, communicative and responsive. They communicated immediately whenever I had a question. Their instructions were clear and the house was very clean. It is a large space with plenty of sleeping room. We enjoyed our stay and took advantage of the Olympic National Forrest nearby. I'd look forward to a stay at Ron & Millie's again.

This home has everything you could need! It was lovely for our family during thanksgiving. Such charm. We definitely played many games of pool. It’s also well appointed for any animal lovers!

The chateau apartment was absolutely stunning! The property felt like a fairy tale; I forgot I was in Utah entirely! Nicole was very accommodating with my last minute changes and was always responsive over text and phone calls. I highly recommend staying at Wadley Farms!

While on military leave, this location was the perfect retreat from the desert heat. The home was beautifully kept, the air conditioning worked flawlessly, and the pool was a wonderful way for the family to relax and have fun. We came to my husband’s hometown so his sons could meet extended family for the first time, and this home provided everything we needed for a comfortable and memorable stay. We’d gladly return for future visits.

Enjoyed our stay! The home is nestled in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood against a golf course, and just a short drive from tons of restaurants, shops, the university, etc. The home/castle itself is was really neat with so many beautiful features and lots of attention to detail. We were even lucky enough to see a few deer grazing around the property. Kurt was a great host, extremely helpful and very quick to respond. Also, bonus points for the easy check out process, made our last morning that much more laid back and enjoyable. Overall a very fun and unique stay that I would definitely recommend!

We loved our stay at Château Ste-Agnes. The suite we rented was actually much bigger than expected. There is a big table where we could play board games. The bed on top of the fireplace is very cool. We really enjoyed how peaceful it was and the view is just amazing. It is a short drive from the village in Sutton. Checking in was easy and the hosts gave us all the information beforehand, so the experience was stress-free. Highly recommend! I would also consider coming with a group.

Booked the Castle for a friends hobbit themed birthday dinner party and the space was perfect! The castle creates a wonderful medieval and fantasy atmosphere with all the art, signs, books and the great hall. Compared to other airbnbs I’ve been at, the castle provides most of the things you’ll need while you’re there including ziploc bags, lots of spices, cake slicing utensils, cheese board utensils and so on! The only thing I wish was different was earlier check in or later check out time. I understand it’s a lot to clean but I just wanted more time there. We really loved all the frogs in the pond at night, also, it made for a lovely ambiance.

The kids especially LOVED this place. It’s has such a neat feel to it and is an amazing experience. A few small maintenance issues were noted but otherwise a really great stay, will definitely stay here again

James is very friendly. He knows a lot about the history of the property, which has been around since 1862.

Very responsive host. Had a very positive experience. Personally, for $200 a night I would expect more than a shared bathroom and a very springy thin mattress with no AC. It wasn’t too hot so we lucked out. Loved the castle charm but there are also multiple guests staying with you so you can end up feeling a little crowded or like you have to be very quiet. Looks exactly like the photos and really is quite nice I just don’t think I would pay 200 a night for the experience.. we were in a unique experience where we had plans cancel the night before and had to do a last minute booking so in that regard I’m thankful that we found somewhere comfortable and communicative and everything was/is as advertised.

The carriage house at Layton Castle was absolutely gorgeous. You can tell that Pam not only cares about the guest experience, but also the history and preservation of the property. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else next time we’re in Monroe. And it is abbbsolutely haunted (by very pleasant and humorous ghosts!) if you’re into that.
