Chalet vacation rentals in Norte Region

We spent 5 nights at Maria's place and felt very comfortable. The surrounding area is very quiet and you can take great walks and hikes through the woods. But you can also get to Caminha for dinner quickly.

The place is very nice, very large, and the garden area is fantastic especially if you have children because there is no room for them to run and have fun . The Hosts have always been very kind and helpful. I highly recommend the space.

My family and I had a great stay. Miguel's place is super nice and you feel at home. We definitely recommend it. Miguel is lovely and always attentive to any questions. Thank you Miguel!

Everything was perfect! The accommodation is clean, convenient, full of charm ( wood, original and warm decoration stone) and beautifully located! Amazing views and breathtaking sunsets. Small downside: the insulation between the rooms.

It is a beautiful place with a very private, lush garden and we had a great time at this house and enjoyed it a lot. Especially the pool was a highlight. The house is only 5 min drive away from the city of Caminha, very convenient. A big thank you to Ana & Joao.

The stay was perfect! We had a wonderful two weeks in a peaceful and warm environment. From the day of booking until the end of the stay, Helena was exceptionally friendly and kind. Alex's house is very spacious, the spaces are huge, both inside the house and outside. The location is very good, it overlooks the estuary and the garden, pool and barbecue area are very good.

Everything is perfect, a little hard to get to but it was great and Rosa has been a phenomenal host

Walking into Felipe’s home was a wonderful surprise. The photos do not show off just how beautiful it is. It has rich wood throughout, clean lines, nice bathrooms and comfortable bedrooms. The kitchen has what you need and the dining/living room area is lovely! The grounds outside are a wonderful extension of the home. We enjoyed the pool and outdoor seating in the inviting yard in the mornings, and in the evening, we lounged in the comfy living room. We were able to drive easily to the ocean, restaurants, shops and other towns near by. This area of Spain is a best kept secret. We will be back! Thank you, Felipe!

We were in the family, 7 people, 4 adults and 3 children. With good rooms, comfortable beds, a great pool for children. with a top terrace for dinner watching the Miño. We had a great barbecue. Near many activities: kanoas, bikes,...

I thought the house is actually better than what was in the photos. All bedrooms have their own bathroom, well equipped kitchen. The garden is very well cared for and the pool has 3 heights, ideal for children. The house is a little out of the way from the village but 10 minutes away by car there is everything you need. I would definitely repeat.

The house was spotless, everything was very clean. And it's in a very quiet area. We went with the dog and it was perfect for her to be at home and for walks in the area. It is also close to Portugal. David is very friendly and responsive. Her sister-in-law Nati welcomed us at home. Everything was perfect, and both very attentive.

What an amazing house! The drive is down a steep lane and then you arrive at the wonderful house. Perched by the lake (grassy banks leading down to lake with pontoon with steps) the house is set in the hill surrounded by beautiful trees. An amazing terrace with picture perfect view across the lake. Swimming pool lovely temperature. We are outside on the terrace every night and swam in the lovely lake every day. Vicente was the most wonderful host. He met us to help direct us to the house and showed us around. Any question I had he was quick to reply. The house had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. Thank you 😊

It was an amazing surprise to stay in this little treasure. Maria Helena was an amazing host and explained everything right. Only those who are on this site really feel how special it is. From the common areas, to the windows between the bedrooms, living room and kitchen (even tastes to wash the dishes with that view), the much-loved "rooftop"/terrace, never drinking a cafe was so good. For those who need to rest a few days, this is undoubtedly one of the places to stay, 3 days that seemed like a week. No doubt I will return!! Our thanks to D. Beautiful house by the lake, in a very peaceful village. Had a wonderful stay with my girlfriend and we couldn't be happier!

Beautiful house that is perfectly designed to go with surrounding nature in the area. You feel at home the moment you come in. Luis was extra nice and put the heating on before our arrival as it was cold and raining that day. Very thoughtful host indeed. Luis understands that those little gestures make his guests feel cosy and comfortable the moment they enter his place.
