What a lovely place! Beautiful and clean house in the prettiest environment. If you just wanna lay back for a while, this is the perfect place.

The accommodation is very secluded and private on a fajã. You have the whole house to yourself incl. Herb garden and outdoor area with fantastic views of the sea. The house has everything you need for a stay, herbs, salt, pepper, oil, rice, pasta, milk, toiletries. Anabela is very friendly, helpful and always has a few tips for activities on the island. Unfortunately, we could not find the house on arrival via Google Maps, but Anabela showed us the way and drove ahead. A small supermarket is 20 minutes away in Norte Grande. Tip: Be sure to shop in Velas upon arrival.

The apartment is well located, especially the view from the terrace is just amazing and we enjoyed spending time there. It is very peaceful. The place has everything you need and is decorated with lovely unique details. It can get a bit humid inside on rainy days but if you keep the house door closed and only open it when the sun is out again, it is not an issue. We received visit from a few cats. Especially the neighbor's cat, a beautiful gray colored female, liked to come by to cuddle a bit - very sweet.
