Stay on a magical 150m2 houseboat in the middle of Copenhagen with 360° water views, private swimming ladder and 200 meters to the metro. Skansehage is a 32-meter-long houseboat from 1958 built in wood, now transformed from a car ferry into a floating home. Possibility to swim both winter and summer. Large front decks and aft decks with urban farming, outdoor dining, and sunbathing. There are 5 meters to the ceiling inside with open living space with kitchen, dining and sleeping area. On the lower deck there are 2 cabins and 1 master bedroom as well as toilet, bath and music scene.

The famous lakes of Copenhagen are the backdoor neighbors. 1 bedroom with a 2,7m wide bed, where 3 can sleep if necessary. Living room (with a sleep-ready couch for 2), a dining room, and a well-stocked kitchen free to use for anyone who likes cooking. It is also ideal for couples travelling with small children. We're very relaxed and down to earth. Other guests often praise our attention to detail and quirky decor.

Everything is within walking distance, such as Tivoli, Strøget, Torvehallerne, with its large selection of food, wine and generally just a good atmosphere of people from Denmark and a lot of tourists. The apartment itself exudes personality and functions as a private home, where you are in direct contact with people who either walk or cycle by and not least the many runners who use the lakes as a breathing space for their exercise.

My apartment is my home and is the culmination of my work and travels over the past 17 years. Inside you'll find original artworks by Richard Serra, Sterling Ruby, Kenneth Willardt, and myself. Rare books everywhere. Plants cover the windows and floor. The beautiful bathroom was designed by me and executed by Frama. The kitchen is also a custom unit by Frama in Copenhagen.
