Welcome to our new holiday house. This is the only house that is completely at sea side in this region. It's a great place for just relaxing, and enjoying the fabulous view, but also an excellent starting point for sightseeing, hiking, swimming or fishing in the fjord/river. Skiing and several other activities are easily available in the area, dependig on season. Excelent for couple and family(s) with kids. Private access to the fjord. 800m walk to restaurants and shops.

Det er akkurat det du kan oppleve i Jølet, hytta som er spesialdesigna for å gje ein optimal følelse av nærleik til naturen. På kanten av eit jøl, skapt av elva sitt tusenårige strev for å nå fjorden, svevar hytta delvis i terrenget. Liggande heilt for seg sjølv utan nære naboar, men med utsikt over kulturlandskap og bygdelag, er dette ein perfekt stad både for avslapping og aktivitet.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt bei Merete sehr genossen! Wir haben mit unseren 8 Monate altem Baby eine Nacht im Zelt und dann eine Nacht im Badehaus verbracht. Merete war sehr hilfsbereit und hatte proaktiv vorgeschlagen die Nacht im Zelt vorzuziehen, da es die zweite Nacht deutlich kälter werden sollte. Das war eine super Erfahrung, auch - und vor allem - mit Baby. Meretes Unterkunft ist atemberaubend schön und sehr entspannend. Wir haben den japanischen Garten, den Blick auf die Berge und die Sauna sehr genossen. Vor allem das leckere Frühstück und Meretes herzliche, zuvorkommende aber auch rücksichtsvolle Art hat uns sehr gefallen. Wer eine Oase der Ruhe in der Nähe einiger Sightseeingspots sucht, ist hier genau richtig! Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

Stranda ist ein sehr guter Ausgangspunkt für viele Aktivitäten in der näheren Gegend und als Basis für eine Aufenthalt von vier bis fünf Tagen sehr gut geeignet. Das Appartement ist sehr ruhig gelegen, trotz der Lage im Untergeschoss ist es sehr hell. Die Einrichtung ist sehr schön, sehr sauber und gepflegt, alles ist vorhanden um hier ein paar Tage zu verbringen, besonders gut hat uns der Kamin gefallen. Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen, vielen Dank.

Einar’s home was just perfect. An incredible location just 15-20 minutes from Geiranger but removed enough to feel like a relaxing non-touristy retreat. Situated on a gorgeous lake with stunning views. We loved every moment in this beautiful home. Would love to come back and will certainly suggest to our friends. Einar was super responsive and helpful. Couldn’t recommend enough - a wonderful and memorable stay.

Excellent property and extremely clean but needs clothes drier to go with washing machine. Everything else excellent with huge bathroom and lots of coffee. Would highly recommend for four but needs couch for 5 people. Great parking but bedrooms need suitcase stands along with nice nighttables. Lovely heated washroom floor and huge kitchen.

Beautiful location amongst mountains and water. Everything in the cabin was clean and loved the local juices and jam set out for us . Veronica was kind to get our luggage up to the cabin with her ATV. We also enjoyed the hot tub out in front. One thing to note I’m not sure if there is wifi available. But this didn’t end up being an issue for us since my partner had his cellular working.
