From the cabin, there are paths to Høgkampen and Spåtind, and there is the option of dog sledding during winter. The surrounding lakes and rivers offer good fishing spots and there is also the possibility of horseback riding on Spåtind.

The old summer barn of Hovelsrud Gård is idyllically located between Mjøsa and a rolling grain field – a simple and unique place for those who want to get close to nature and enjoy the tranquility of Helgøya. An hour drive from the house you wil reach the nearest mountains to Oslo, Vikerfjell, a great place for hiking and biking.

Simple cabin located 1100 meters above sea level in Valdres. It's at the top of the Kjølastølen hamlet and is perfect for one or two people who want a place to base for mountain activities. One room with sofa bed, table, kitchen counter with cooker. Heating with propane heater. The cabin has a sink with no running water, but it works for morning care etc with drains out of the cabin.
