The area has fantastic views of the Lyng Alps, with opportunities to see the northern lights in winter and the midnight sun in summer. There are good hiking opportunities in the immediate area. Popular mountains for randonees. From the property you can go directly up to Storhaugen. Sorbmegáisá is also nearby. Short distance to other mountains. Wood fired Sauna and grill hut. Bicycles, snowshoes. Beds are fully made.

Lyngen is one of the world's most beautiful and undisturbed Arctic regions. From this exclusive cabin you can enjoy the northern lights in the winter and the midnight sun in the summer. The cabin is by itself, with a spectacular view. You can hear and see the ocean from the terrace. You need to walk up 140 stairs to the cabin, or walk the access road. You can be a bit shocked by the steepness, but it's worth it :) You can not drive up so you have to be a bit sporty to rent this place.

Velkommen til ei ny og fin hytte i landlige, majestetiske omgivelser i Lyngen. Stedet er like fint vinter som sommer. Om vinteren er det kort vei til unike fjelltopper for skikjøring. Likevel er det et unikt landskap slik at man også finner terreng for lettere skiturer. Om sommeren er uendelige turer å velge i, både til fots, til sykkel eller med båt. Here you will find tranquility with great views of high mountains and lakes that reflect nature. This is the place for the northern lights, whale safari and randonee interested. You park at the door and meet a cabin with heat in the floors, fireplace and facilities for a pleasant holiday. Gamtunet - idyllic cabin - spectacular location

Gamtunet is a charming old log house with a top modern architectural extension including all commodities. The view is spectacular encompassing the Lyngen landscape from the view to the Ulsfjord to the alpine peaks of Trollvasstind, Sofiatind and the Jiehkkevárri massif. We still have lots of snow in the mountains so it looks like skiing will be good all through May at least.
