The stay was great, it is an authentic cottage on the property where the owners also live. The house is cozy and rural and very neat and clean. It is very rural but at a good distance from all amenities and there is plenty to do if you want, many beautiful castles nearby and beautiful towns. The garden and pool are beautiful and we enjoyed this very much, as well as the sound of all the birds around us. Anne and Yvon are very attentive, friendly and helpful owners who are there for you at all times should you need this, on the other hand, they also respect your privacy. Absolutely recommended!

We really enjoyed our stayed at the Gite. The location was perfect for exploring the Loire Valley, and it was very close to Blois if you wanted to stop at a grocery store, etc. The pool was fabulous and our daughters really enjoyed it after a day of chateau site seeing. Cathy is a very responsive and delightful host and she gave great recommendations. The Gite was very well appointed and had a very nice kitchen for preparing meals. One nice surprise is that there was so many great walks you could take from the Gite, with a chateau or manor at every turn. I feel fortunate to have stayed at such a lovely place.

The house was spotlessly clean and in a fabulous location. Thick stone walls kept the rooms cool in the hot weather. Jean was extremely approachable and accommodated our wish for the pool to ourselves on our last day. Plenty of space for BBQ's, table tennis and boules. Neighbouring villages and towns all worth visiting and Azay Le Rideau for the restaurant's. Lovely winery nearby too - well worth a visit for a tasting! Thank you Jean - we had a great time.

We have enjoyed 10 days of this beautiful accommodation, the surroundings and Bertrand! When you sit on your terrace with a glass of wine/beer, you feel like a privileged person! You overlook the Loire and the beautiful landscape and if you have a question just ask Bertrand, what a friendly, service oriented man that is, 6 stars from us! kitchen is spotless and very fully equipped so that even cooking was very easy to do. Hiking, biking (we brought our own), swimming, jacuzzi, Blois, castles, dining out, it was all fantastic! Thank you Bertrand, we will definitely be back!
