Ereluk - Cabin Whataspot

Ereluk is one of a kind. More than just accomodation this property is its own little slice of the Katherine gorge area - the owners have gone out of their way to show off their surroundings with awesome spots to watch the sunsets, 4wd tracks and hikes! Likely won’t be looking further than Ereluk for any visit to Katherine in the future. If 6 stars were possible they’d have it.

The apartment is privately located above the hotel office and is so quiet. It was spotless and the bedding was freshly laundered. Parking for our car was secure within the hotel compound and we were provided with a fob to come/go as needed. Our family of 5 (2A, 5yo, 3yo and 1yo) were very happy and had a wonderful stay here.

I personally feel like the photos didn’t quite do the place justice. From the finishings to the comfort. Duane and Bel were extremely attentive too. It’s the small things that made this feel so cosy. The PowerPoints back plates are cut out beautifully with the corrugated walls. The personalised engraved cabinets and the spacious area. Was extremely nice and quiet, away from the riff raff. Right around the corner from the Katherine outback experience. The whole home was stunning!

Carol was an amazing host, super helpful and informative. The house was exactly what we needed as she went above and beyond with the little details. It was a pleasure meeting her- her house was one of the highlights of our trip. - couldn't recommend this house more! Thanks Carol !

Great stay at this little cabin in the bush! Beautiful location only 10 minutes to Katherine Gorge and 20 minutes from town. We loved having some peace and quiet. The cabin was spotless and exactly as described. Also really helpful to have the kitchen and cooking equipment. Wayne was super friendly and easy to communicate with. Would love to stay here again!

The place had absolutely everything you could need. In a very good part of Katherine too- not sure you could find better accommodation in the town, especially for a family. Thank you so much.

The accommodation is out of site from the main house, so interaction is minimal. The view from the from the large outdoor area, looks over a turfed lawn, out onto native bushland. There is access to a laundry and second bathroom if needed. Please no children under 10.

We had a great stay at Tommy’s. His communication was excellent. We appreciated that he left the lights on and the gate open for us when we arrive late. The house was very spacious. The location was very quiet and private.
