The garden is full of trees and flowers, including a large camphor tree that has been there for over 160 years, black pines, Japanese maples, and bamboo forests, so you can enjoy the trees and flowers in all seasons. Good news: The host politely recommended local spots such as hot springs and izakaya to me, who was traveling alone. It was equipped with cooking utensils, a refrigerator, a microwave, pots, chopsticks and spoons, condiments, etc., so I had a very pleasant time during my stay. Also, on the last day, I became friends with two people from overseas, and after enjoying sightseeing together, we happened to live in the same area, and we had a wonderful connection where we returned to Fukuoka together. It was also impressive that I could spend time freely like at home.This is a hostel that I would especially recommend for solo travelers.Thank you very much. Worried about: I understood in advance, so there were no particular problems. At most, I was a little troubled about where to put my clothes when I used the bath.I couldn't reach the installation location above.Other than that, I'm very happy.

Haru and Nobu were very warm and welcoming. We were able to park a car before check in which was realy convinient. Staying at the inn was amazing. It was pure art and unique. We loved the prison room and all the details and thought that went into designing the place. We had a drink at the bar and hang out with hosts and other guests till late, it was truly one of the best experiences we had in Japan even if it was just for 1 night. Location was great, public transport is close. We will come again.

The location of this place was fantastic. It was close to the tram stop, which made it very convenient to get to major tourist attractions like Kumamoto Castle and Suizenji Garden, as well as the downtown area. The apartment was very clean and was the perfect place to relax quietly after a day of sightseeing. The host was always quick to respond, which made our stay worry-free. I think this is the best place for travelers exploring Kumamoto on foot and by public transport.

Location: About 20 minutes walk from Kumamoto Station, you will pass Shirakawa, I still love to walk that way, the most amazing thing is that I have a poor sense of direction, I only walked once and remembered the way.After staying for a few days, it really feels like I know my own home. ps It's really convenient to stay near Kumamoto Station. You can eat and travel from Kumamoto Station. Basically, the daily itinerary starts from Kumamoto Station and ends at Kumamoto Station. It's convenient to go to Aso, Yufuin, etc. It's a great base. Room: I live in a single room, there are four single rooms on the first floor, there are two shared rooms for four people upstairs, and up to 12 people can stay at the same time.The three-fold mattress on the tatami (a little too soft, hurts my waist), but I personally like the pillow, I don't know what material it is filled with.The room is small and low, there is no space for activities, and those with a lot of luggage may not be able to spread out. What's more amazing is the common space, the kitchen and living room are super beautiful, and there is a terrace and drying area upstairs where you can see Kumamoto Castle, so you can spend more time resting in the common area. Because of the material structure of the room, the sound insulation and shading is about 0, it is recommended to bring your own earplugs and eye masks, but everyone who stayed was very conscious of keeping their hands and feet light, so I didn't feel noisy at all. Facilities: Two bathrooms on the second floor, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, cotton swabs, hair dryer, and a scale hhh.There are toilets and washrooms on each floor.Fully Stocked Kitchen.Laundry 300 yen (including a laundry bead).
