This is a review not so much on Cody's rental, but actually on Cody himself. My father would always say "son, there will times when your tested when nobody is looking, and that is called your character. You're character is something is how most men are judged behind closed doors without you present in the room. So before you do anything where you have to question if something is right or wrong, just think of your character." Well Cody did just that. He didn't have to do anything and just kept on with his life, but he made a decision to do the right thing without question. For that alone, I would never stay anywhere else when visiting Big Island. Thank you Cody for restoring my faith in humanity. You truly are a stand up guy who deserves more than just this review..Mahalo nui loa!

Pictures cannot do the place justice! The back yard is gorgeous, right on the water, and has plenty of spots to sit and chill, rain or shine. The living area and kitchenette are spacious - we were able to cook everything we needed for 6 days, the couch is like a cloud, good wifi. Linens, towels, bathrooms, everything was pristine. Plenty of beach towels in the unit and great beach/water equipment for general use. Everywhere we wanted to go already required a car so it was totally worth being a little outside Hilo to get the scenery, with grocery store and shops about 20 min away. Denise and Matt responded to messages right away and there was someone on the property who helped us check in.

Great stay The room is very well lit. The kitchen is also fully stocked It feels very cozy as soon as you enter the house. You can look around the chickens, ducks and cows on the farm in the morning You can also buy fresh eggs from the host to cook It's delicious no matter how it's fried. :)

Incredible beauty and breathtaking landscape! The house is charming and spacious. Great ocean view and the serenity of a rural environment. Friendly dogs and lots of cute chickens and ducks. Meticulously cared for inside and out. But best of all, such amazing and inspiring people. Very friendly, helpful, personable and soulful. We really enjoyed talking with them. They were there when we needed them but it also felt very private. Definitely would stay there again!

An open living area features a blue countertop bar with several high chairs and ceiling beams above. Large windows provide natural light and views of the outside greenery. Indoor plants add a touch of nature to the space, enhancing the overall tranquility.

Palm tree cottage was such a gem! It’s surrounded by beautiful palm trees and peaceful nature sounds, aa described. The place was super clean and cozy, and we loved the welcome tray with fresh fruit and yummy banana bread. Laurel was really responsive and easy to communicate with. We’re so glad we found this place — it made our Hawaii trip even better!
