Our stay at this Airbnb was truly exceptional. The property itself was beautiful, comfortable, and ideally located in Mirissa—but what truly set this experience apart was the host. Warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about making our stay special, they went above and beyond in every possible way. Thanks to their thoughtful recommendations and unwavering support, we were able to experience Srikanta in a way that wouldn’t have been possible on our own. In fact, Mirissa—and Srikanta—feel incomplete without their presence and guidance. This stay was unforgettable, and we’re deeply grateful. There’s a lot to say but to sum up I would say to everyone that I met the hosts as strangers and now they are like a family to us. Must must recommended!!

We spent four days at Villa Sõmar and are completely satisfied. The villa is spacious, very clean and exactly as described. In the morning, there is a delicious breakfast served by two very nice employees. The Sri Lankan banana pancakes are highly recommended. Furthermore, before arrival you get a very detailed message in which, among other things, there are many restaurant recommendations, beaches nearby and even numbers of two tuk tuk drivers. The location is fine and you can reach everything by tuk tuk or scooter. All in all, we enjoyed our stay very much and would come back any time.

super nice place to have for yourself. Take time to yourself while being close to the center of both Weligama and Mirissa. Both are easy to reach with a tuktuk or bus within 10 min. Sahan was super friendly and also his father helped us to all our wishes. The house was clean and atmospheric. The rooms were spacious, the pool was great and was cleaned every day.

Had the most amazing time at Punchi Doowa—the property was stunning and peaceful. The service by Pubudu and Umesh was exceptional. We were welcomed with fresh coconut water, and the meals they cooked were so good, we didn’t eat out once! They also helped us arrange a scooter with helmets in minutes. Special thanks to Hettie—so generous and kind. I started a book from her collection and when I asked if I could buy it, she let me keep it. I left one of mine behind in return. The toiletries smelled like organic heaven—and as a woman, having good shampoo and conditioner while traveling is such a joy! One of the most magical moments? Seeing fireflies light up the garden at night—it felt like a storybook scene. My boyfriend and I kept saying we need to come back for a longer stay. Highly recommend this hidden gem!

We had the most amazing stay at Elspeth Villa in Ahangama! The villa itself is absolutely stunning – beautifully designed, serene, and surrounded by lush greenery. Every corner feels thoughtfully curated, and you can truly feel the care that went into creating such a peaceful space. Elspeth was a wonderful host, super responsive and helpful throughout our stay. We were a group of 4 friends and had booked the entire Ventana Mirissa property — and it turned out to be an absolutely amazing experience! The villa was neat, clean, and very well-maintained. The highlight of our stay was definitely the private pool, which was just perfect for relaxing and hanging out together. A special mention goes to Maleesh, the property caretaker. He was incredibly helpful, polite, and always available whenever we needed anything — whether it was guiding us with local tips, or simply making sure we were comfortable. The villa also has proper parking space within the property, which made things really convenient for us as we had our own vehicle. Overall, Ventana Mirissa exceeded our expectations — peaceful location, great hospitality, and a beautiful space that felt like home. Highly recommended!

Pavithri & Rajitha were great host. They took care of all our needs. The house was beautifully decorated and very neat & clean. Kitchen was with all amenities as described. The surroundings was very serene and beautiful. The best part was they invited us for lovely dinner on day at their home. Great friendly host. Highly recommended.

We came in a group of 4 friends. Never seen such spacious villa. Comes with 3 bedrooms (two located on top and one at the ground floor). Spiral Staircase might be difficult for elderly. First thing that I must praise is the housekeeper, his name is Lakshan and he’s the most attentive boy ever. He’s always ready to assist. He helps to cook and reheat too. Theres ample of place for us to chill. From the living hall to the kitchen to the outdoor seats we basically fully utilized the space. The only downside is that it’s a little far from the Main Street coz the small lane seems quiet at night but it’s convenient to order food via apps so we never had to walk out. By the way; we arent pet lovers but the two doggies are sooooooooo well behaved.

Clare’s place was everything & more than what we were expecting. The villa is absolutely beautiful, set in the most peaceful & tranquil surroundings. Nuwan’s cooking and hosting was the cherry on the top of our experience. Tushara also really looked after us. We were able to organise 3 private yoga classes & a massage - personal highlights of my stay at the villa. All of the above meant that whenever we left the villa, we wanted to get back straight away to our private paradise even though Ahangama is a great area to visit. Highly recommend staying and experiencing the beauty of Villa Sisila!!

Fantastic stay at Talaramba Reef! We had a large family gathering for 3 nights (9 adults and 5 children) and booked both villas. The villas were beautiful, thoughtfully decorated, very comfortable, with lovely and immaculately kept grounds. The place was very spacious and it felt very relaxing, and the pools were very pleasant. Ranjith and his team were incredible. They were kind, friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had a memorable stay, including helping to organize a party and putting up a lovely banner. The food was also exceptional and great value for money. We cannot recommend this place enough!

We stayed in Hiriketiya for a few days in early April and had an amazing time in the area. Siri the housekeeper really made our stay, he was amazing helping us with any house questions we had as well as giving us recommendations in the area and telling us fun facts about Hiriketiya.

We had a great time at this beautiful villa. It’s absolutely stunning and well located to the heart of Ahangama. Tim was extremely helpful and responsive. The staff were not overhearing and left us to get on with things. The breakfasts were delicious and portions generous. One morning we had the Sri Lankan breakfast and the next the international breakfast with delicious butter milk pancakes. Dinner was also great and the chef worked hard to provide a variety as everyone ordered something different. Thanks Gamunu and co we enjoyed our time at the villa.

We had the best time at The Palm Lanka and couldn’t ask for more! The kids were comfortable and the space is very family friendly and spacious. The location is perfect by the beach, and well surrounded yet you have complete privacy. We fully enjoyed the terrace, the pool, and the garden! Manel and Suresh were incredible support the whole time, serving amazing meals, helping with recommendations and anything we needed, even getting a birthday cake for our baby’s first birthday! We highly recommend this space and will definitely be coming back again ♥️

We had a wonderful stay at Hiru House. Jude was incredibly responsive and very helpful. The accomodation was spacious and easily accommodated our 3 families, totalling 13 guests. Jude and his wife Asha cooked us an amazing Sri Lankan feast one night, a favourite meal of many of us. I would love to come back and stay again!

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Noumi, the staff were friendly, kind and responsive. We were welcomed with cold towels, juice and a fruit basket (5 star welcome). The villa itself was very clean, the photos are accurate! The breakfast and dinner we had in the villa were wonderful. The kids were well catered for with a massive box of lego and some toys/card games which were well used after beautiful morning swims at secret beach. Overall I would recommend this place to families or a few couples or even friends. Well located and a short tuk tuk ride or short walk into town and the beach. Thanks for having us!

Our stay was wonderful! We went for a short vacation for my birthday. Me and my friends had a great time here. The property was so calming and peaceful. The place was more than true to the photos. It was beautiful to the naked eye. A highlight of our trip is that the staff were so kind and service was excellent. We definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for a getaway and wants to be immersed in nature.

Just... wow! We felt truely blessed with the opportunity to stay here. The pictures really don't do the view and villa justice, it's a really remarkable find and absolutely stay here if you get the chance. Sonali and her family are wonderful people, who really made the stay. Sonali's cooking was wonderful, lots of dishes each evening that were so tasty and taking the time to go through the menu with us is really thoughtful and made sure we enjoyed everything. Lesley and Ken have truely thought of everything, there's not a single thing missing and nothing to be improved on. We went out easily on tuk tuks to visit surrounding areas, only to return to absolute bliss with a dip in the warm infinity pool. We even took a little boat ride around the lake from the dock at the end of the garden that Sonali organised for us. This place is a true gem, and we felt so lucky to be able to stay here - just try and stop us visting again!

Kasun was an amazing host, always proactive and respectful. The place is also beautiful, clean and calm. Highly recommended if you are travelling to weligama with 1-2 travellers.

Our 3rd time back at Mula Villa, had a wonderful time, as always. The house is amazing and comfortable, a few nice upgrade since our last visit (filtered water machine, new cushions), we love this place and the fantastic staff. We were not at all bothered by neighboring construction noise as permis other comments

Ben was quite responsive and had proper recommendations of places to visit and eat during our stay. Roshan , the manager there was quite helpful , he set us up with scooter , cleaned the pool regularly , was always there if we needed anything. The location of the air bnb was perfect and it looked exactly like the pictures. Overall 10/10 stay

Overall we had a great experience, was there for my bachelorette and the staff really put up with us. Only complaints- a few of the lights and fans were not working and were not fixed. We were definitely given tap water, one of the can was filled with tap water, I’m assuming they ran out of water in the night and one of the staff had no choice but to serve us that. Would still give the stay a 5 star review was the host was kind enough to help with local recommendations and the staff was there to help whenever asked.
