Vacation rentals with breakfast in Nidwalden

Maria is a good host who’s responsive to any questions you have, yet gives guests the privacy they wish. We had the room on the top floor which gives comfortable space for 2 of us - a bedroom with very comfortable bed, and a separate room with sofabed, with ensuite bathroom. Easy bus ride to the heart of Luzern. Breakfast provided was substantial. We especially appreciated the shared kitchen where we prepared our dinners.

Maria was a wonderful host! The place was as described. The Swiss breakfast was great! Nice and quiet even with shared spaces. We hope to come back to Luzern and stay again someday.

Tricia was so kind, gave great tips on tourist activities and served a delicious breakfast.

Cornelia ist eine sehr freundliche, liebevolle Gastgeberin. Sie hat das Haus und Zimmer mit mit viel Kreativität und Liebe eingerichtet. Es war alles sehr sauber und alles notwendige vorhanden. Wir haben die Unterkunft auf unserer Reise nach Italien genutzt. Zur Stärkung gab es noch ein leckeres Frühstück. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Charming place to stay at. Location is perfect; from the train station it takes 10 minutes to reach here, and it stops right in front of the house. We arrived at 9 AM, so we didn't expect to be able to check-in so early. But we could check-in a few hours later, which was much earlier than what's described (really helped us after our long flight). The room is in the attic, so you'll have to climb up 2 floors. Not a good idea to bring large suitcases. Room was spotless, and definitely looks as good or even better than the photos. Every morning we were greeted by lovely hosts, amazing view, and delicious breakfast. Tone always asked us if we needed more of the breakfast items, but we wish we could've eaten more! Christian was helpful with all the local place suggestions too. All in all, it was a very pleasant stay and highly recommend this place.

Sehr angenehme Gastgeber. Einfache, saubere Übernachtungsmöglichkeit in schöner Umgebung. Frühstück einfach super mit Produkten aus der Region.

It was a beautiful site. I could get rest for a moment of silence. Bathroom was very clean. Also it is worth it to take a 30 min bus drive to have an little escape from the city. Cornelia 's breakfast is also a worth to ask for. She prepared very finely.

I stayed 6 months in Amanda's place. Everything was perfect.

We really enjoyed our time at the apartment (and the hotel). Gabriela was so helpful to us throughout the entire three days we were there. She was able to provide us with all of the various tickets/passes we would need, along with setting up Parasailing for the two of us! Grindelwald is so beautiful. I’m thinking about coming to stay longer term.

Ich verbrachte 3 wunderbare und entspannende Tage in Tamaras Wohnung. Wenn man auf der Suche ist nach Ruhe, Erholung, Me Time, Spaziergang zum See, ist man hier genau richtig. Die Wohnung ist liebevoll eingerichtet, sehr gemütlich, mit niedlichen Dekorationen und vielen Büchern, eifach zum wohl fühlen. Tamara ist eine sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin. Sehr empfehlenswert sind Tamaras Massagen! Und auch toll die Sauna im Badezimmer😃 Der Aufenthalt bei Tamara ist absolut empfehlenswert. Ich freue mich schon darauf, wenn ich wieder für ein paar Tage hier verweilen darf😊

Grosszügige, aber einfach eingerichtete Unterkunft. Der ungeheizte Pool war super, insbesonder auch, dass wir auch in der Nacht unter dem Sternenhimmel noch baden konnten.

What great hosting and what great views. Honestly the pictures dont do justice to the actual place. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. Super appreciate this kind of hosting - as a fellow Airbnb host myself I know how hard it is. Highly recommended for a couple or solo traveler.

Isabelle’s place is as gorgeous as it is shown in the posting. She has raised the bar. Everything we needed was ready in the apartment and then a lot more. Small additional items such as an umbrella, a hiking backpack, an array of spices, shampoo and conditioner etc were available. She really has thought through minor details that matter. We would love to come back and stay here for longer.

Tiny studio stay, very functional. has a small kitchen, with toaster, microwave, induction, and with many utensils. location is nice, it's a quiet spot with 5-10 min walk to nearest public transport. Host is friendly, even came to pick us up from the train station. He suggested a day trip to Mt Rigi and it turned out to be great! We loved how he outlined each detail about the day tour and we loved all his suggestions. You have to check-in before 9 pm and communicate the exact time of check-in at least 1 day in advance.

We had a really phenomenal stay at Daniela’s place. The space was cozy and quiet, and the bed was very comfortable. We really enjoyed the outside space as well, especially the hammock. The breakfast each morning was delicious and we really liked chatting with Daniela and Herbert, they gave us wonderful local restaurant and activity ideas. Steinen is a quiet town, with no tourists and it was very fast and easy to get to Schwyz and Stoos. Easily one of the best Airbnb experiences we have had, we will be back. Thanks to you both!

Da ich in einer modernen Stadt aufgewachsen bin, war dies genau die Art von Hotel, die ich zu finden gehofft hatte: zeitlos und reich an Schweizer Kultur. "Alt, aber charmant" trifft wirklich den Kern des Hotels! Als ich die Treppe hinunterging, um zu frühstücken, fand ich mich inmitten von einheimischen Schweizer Bauern wieder, die ihre morgendliche Mahlzeit gemeinsam einnahmen - ein Moment, der sich sowohl authentisch als auch herzerwärmend anfühlte. Die gemütliche Einrichtung des Restaurants und die herzliche Gastfreundschaft des Personals hinterließen einen bleibenden Eindruck. Es war mehr als nur ein Aufenthalt, es war ein unvergessliches Erlebnis, das von Tradition und Charme geprägt war.

Danke Ruth und Heinz für die schöne Zeit bei euch. Wir fühlten uns von der ersten Sekunde an wohl. Eure Gastfreundschaft und das Frühstück waren grossartig. Wir kommen wieder und empfehlen es weiter.

Wir waren eine Nacht bei Mäggy zu Gast und haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Es gibt vor den Zimmern ganz tolle Infomäppchen für die Gegend und es wurde auch viel erklärt und gezeigt. Die Zimmer sind toll ausgestattet, besonders gut hat uns aber der Außenbereich gefallen. Wunderschönes Panorama und eine tolle Lounge laden dazu ein sich entspannt zu setzen und den Ausblick zu genießen. Wir würden die Unterkunft in jedem Fall weiterempfehlen und wiederkommen!

When I went up to the room, the room was on the top floor. The lights along the way turned on and off automatically. It was dark. I was afraid. I had to use my phone's light to find the door. It was a wooden house, so it was noisy when I walked. I was secretly afraid. I asked to move to a lower room, but there was none. I was kinder. My friends came to stay upstairs. I went for a walk after the rain. The view was beautiful. The fog came down. I didn't get tired from walking because the view was beautiful. The weather was cool. It made me less afraid of the bedroom. In the morning, I had breakfast. There was a lot. The service was good. I went out to travel around for 1 day and came back. I love this place. The room was clean. The view was beautiful. Everything was very clean and tidy. I like it. If I have a chance, I want to come back again. Als wir ankamen, wurden wir schon herzlich am Fenster begrüßt – beide Gastgeber und ihre süße Katze haben uns freundlich empfangen. Uns wurde direkt einen Kaffee angeblten und tolle Tipps für die Wanderung gegeben. Das Zimmer und das Bad waren wunderbar. Besonders schön war der Garten, in dem wir noch ein wenig entspannen konnten. Es gab auch gemütliche Aufenthaltsräume und eine kleine Bibliothek. Die Gastgeber waren sehr herzlich und aufmerksam. Wir würden jederzeit gerne wiederkommen!

Für eine Nacht buchten wir ein Zimmer mit Frühstück. Die Anreise war toll – wir wanderten vom Klausnerpass zur Unterkunft, was ein Traum war. Dort angekommen, wurden wir herzlich empfangen. Die ganze Familie Kempf, bestehend aus drei Generationen, wohnt im Sommer auf der Alp. Im Voraus konnten wir Älplermagronen bestellen – die waren köstlich und wir genossen sie mit einer Flasche Riesling! Am Tag der Abreise bekamen wir ein hervorragendes Frühstück. Der selbstgemachte Käse (drei Sorten) und viele andere hausgemachte Produkte waren vorhanden. Ich war begeistert, als ich sehen durfte, wie sie den Käse lagern und einreiben. Ebenso hatten wir das Glück, dem Käseherstellungsprozess beizuwohnen und zuzusehen, wie der Käse mit der Harfe geschnitten wird und sich langsam von der Molke trennt. Die Unterkunft ist sehr empfehlenswert und wir werden bestimmt nicht das letzte Mal bei Familie Kempf zu Gast gewesen sein. Freundliche Grüsse Raphaela

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und waren begeistert von der Gastfreundlichkeit. Ein gemeinsames Frühstück mit den Gastgebern ist ungewöhnlich, war aber eine willkommene Abwechslung 😊 Die Umgebung ist wunderschön, aber man muss mit einigen Höhenmetern klar kommen!
