One of the best accommodation in Vietnam we have experienced. Beautiful surroundings, views, great food and people. It is even possible to go on several trips with local guides from here. We can only recommend.

Had a very lovely stay! It’s called Hello Mu Cang Chai Homestay on Google maps if you want to look it up for more info :) My friend and I arrived really early the day we checked in since we had a sleeper bus drop us off around 7am in Mu Cang Chai at the Nga Ba Kim Market stop 2km from the homestay. No taxi or grab in the town. When we got to the homestay (we walked there but I’d recommend reaching out to the host in advance since there’s a lot hills), the host immediately gave us fresh tea and let us check in even though we were there way before check in. Every day they had breakfast in the morning around 8am and then a family dinner at 7pm. Our second day we did the H’mong experience they offer which was a ton of fun. Overall, highly recommend! 🥰 Very kind hosts and really nice views and peaceful location. Huge bugs but that’s Vietnam for you lol. Greatly appreciated the mosquito net over the bed, and greatly appreciated the host’s generosity 🤗

The homestay is perfection. The hosts were energetic, friendly and happy. The views and food were fabulous. My partner, who has something to say about everything, was completely smitten with the place and keeps talking about going back. I was sick a lot from a previous place and the rooms are clean and lovely and as far as being sick on holiday goes, the homestay made it very bearable.

Our family enjoyed a restful stay at Mường Lò Retreat after two weeks of traveling. The staff is extremely hospitable from the moment you arrive, always friendly, soft-spoken, and smiling. Breakfast and afternoon tea is included, and the restaurant serves very good dinner (upon reservation) with large portions, as well as simple lunch. Although we didn't come in the best season (the staff said August-September is more beautiful) we loved waking up to the view of the valley and town. Note that the hotel only accepts cash for additional services and dining, and it is difficult to exchange cash or access an ATM in the area. Special thanks to the staff at Mường Lò Retreat :-)

Vi is a very friendly and open host. She was always reachable and helped us with everything we wanted to know. The room was clean and looked like the pictures. There is an AC so that you can set the room temperature you want. The bathroom is very nice. It has no windows and is therefore open. The property is very beautiful and has many traditional details. It is very easy to relax with the calm music, the green surrounding and the lovely decoration. There is also a small restaurant on the property where you can book good breakfast and dinner, as well as coffee and snacks for reasonable prices. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you very much, Vi! We definitely recommend this accomodation :)

My family arrived at Vi's place after flying in from Huế and immediately felt soothed by the natural oasis tucked away from the town, with a library, affectionate cats, and a fire for company. Everyone there is very sweet; Vi especially is not only a responsive and enthusiastic host, but someone who genuinely connects with those who cross paths through her humor and conviction. The accommodations were very comfortable (although sound leaks easily) and Vi simplified our travels by arranging our transfers from the airport and to our next destination. Our spirits felt restored after just one night, and we would love to stay longer on our next visit.
