It's a cottage to be enjoyed by friends & family, in respect to neighbors and our home.

My Dream house with views of the marsh and sunset

Our rental space has two bedrooms, living room, full bath and a mini kitchen. There is a full deck across the front of the house and a large patio off the bedrooms which is accessed though the sliders in each bedroom. This is all private space for our guests. The views from the front deck are of the great marsh along with the beautiful sunsets. With the Two bedrooms one with a queen size bed and the other with full size bed the house can have 2 to 4 people depending on sleeping arrangements.

Awesome house, amazing location, lots to do- we hope to come back again! Plenty of towels, blankets, linens, beach chairs which was great.

We loved our stay at Sunset Blush! As regular visitors to Plum Island for fishing and birdwatching, we have stayed at a view different properties. Sunset Blush is a favorite. The apartment feels more private than many other locations on the island. We enjoyed sunrise with coffee on the back deck and the unit has a fantastic view from the front window of Plum Island's renowned sunset. With easy access within a few blocks to restaurants, provisions, the beach, and the wildlife refuge, the location is excellent and yet very quiet. The unit is well-equipped with everything needed and is tastefully decorated with just the right amount of seaside vibes. The indoor fireplace is delightful on a cool, autumn evening after a chilly day fishing!!! We were super comfy and cozy. The second floor of the unit is perfect for two people, and can sleep more on the lower level. Melissa was responsive and accommodating with schedule changes. We hope to be back next year!!! Thank you for everything! :D

The Hygge House was a beautiful accommodation for our last minute needs! We were coming from Boston and decided to extend our mini weekend trip another day and decided on the Hygge house. We couldn’t have been happier with our choice! The room was spotless, modern and cozy at the same time, cookware, linens, furniture was all of good high quality and clean. The smaller touches like the little book of Hygge for reading was pleasant and fun to read over breakfast with my partner. We highly recommend the Hygge House for singles or couples looking for a clean, beautiful and peaceful stay in Newburyport! We are very excited to come back and visit again soon. Thank you so much! ☺️

Joshua was an amazing host! He went above and beyond to help us out during a tough time, and he was incredibly friendly to boot. Great local recomendations! To be honest, I hesitate to leave this review because I fear letting the secret out. Joshua's place is a local hidden gem that our family would love to keep all to ourselves! An Iconic beach house in a pristine location, what more could you ask for? Don't hesitate to book here, I guarantee you will not be disappointed!! Oh! And did I mention the views? Yeah, and there's that.... Outstanding!

2nd time we’ve stayed here and had another great stay! Really bright, clean, and comfortable space for 6 people. floor plan makes it so you never feel on top of each other, and with great hangout space in living room. Close walk to the beach and easy into downtown. The host was very responsive and on top of fixing an issue during our weekend. Don’t miss the sunset club nearby if weather cooperates! Both our weekends have been rainy and the place is spacious enough we didn’t feel totally cooped up, but hoping next time we can take advantage of the nice deck and proximity to the ocean. Definitely recommend!

Great location and a great property, recently updated and felt like we were staying in a nice hotel. The outside is even better than the pictures display, as it had an enclosed patio with nice furniture and a blackstone grill. 7 minute walk to a full beach and right across the street from an inlet, if you have your own kayak. Plum Island is beautiful, with multiple beach options (including a state park) and downtown Newburyport has great restaurants. We even did a day trip to Hampton Beach for fun. We had to book last minute due to a different host cancelling on us last minute and Kevin and the owners were very accommodating. We would definitely stay again.

We rent a house on PI every year and this house was perfect for us. We could walk to the basin with our SUP’s, easy walk to beach and stores and ice cream! We loved the double outdoor shower option for the kids after a long sandy day at the beach and they supplied all the beach toys, umbrellas and chairs! The rooftop deck was our favorite part we watched the sunset every night. We would rent this house again if the dates line up!

A spacious bed with a decorative grey and white patterned coverlet is centered in the room. Flanking the bed are two small tables, each adorned with potted plants. A bright yellow pillow with the word 'BEACH' adds a cheerful touch to the bedding.
