Beautiful home and very clean!! Fully stocked kitchen, nice linens and beds. Convenient to all attractions and Abigail is very accommodating and kind! Horses came to greet us most times in early morning and evenings which was a nice treat. Also can see the Amish horse and buggies from the house. This awesome home is located on a main highway so if a light sleeper make sure to bring a sound machine or fan. We did fine and would book with Abigail again!

Our family of 7, ranging in age from 62-6, had a blast! The pool was perfect for evening entertainment while cooking on the grill. The bedroom layout was great as we have family member that doesn’t do stairs well. Even if upstairs the number of stairs is minimum. We visited Dutch Wonderland and would stay here again for our next trip up! It had more than expected including pool towels and shampoo and conditioner in the 2 full baths. It also had laundry detergent. Thank you! It was a wonderful place!

We had a fabulous time at Megan's place! The heated pool allowed for us to still enjoy the pool despite some rainy and cooler weather. The rock waterfall into the pool was a unique feature and the surrounding area was private and scenic. The wrap porch with a view of the creek and meadow was also a highlight- especially the fireflies at night! There was plenty of kitchen table space for us and our 3 young kids, where we enjoyed the nature views. We even enjoyed roasting marshmallows in the fire pot and swinging on the rocking swing. We hope to come back again another time!

This place was amazing to stay at! We loved the huge kitchen and there was plenty of space for our family of five. Our kids had a great time running around the big backyard and we went on several walks around the local neighbourhood, which was very picturesque and peaceful. What a lovely place to visit!

We had a great stay! The house was clean, comfortable, and in a great location. We especially loved the heated pool—it made a big difference. Bebe was a responsive and helpful host, quickly addressing any questions we had and even allowing us to install an app on the Fire Stick so we could stream from our devices. She also resolved a minor pool heat issue on the first day with no hassle. We’d definitely stay here again!

Kris's home was absolutely amazing! It was extremely clean and was exactly as described. Kris was responsive, very friendly and helpful. We loved staying here. We enjoyed the beautiful setting, the pool, hot tub, fire pit, game room and pickle ball. The family had an amazing time. All of the bedrooms and bathrooms were so incredible and unique. The farmhouse transformation was done so well. Every detail was thought through! WOW! I can't say enough good things! We have stayed at a lot of AirBnB's. This was a 10 out of 10.

Dana’s home was absolutely beautiful. Not only were they super accommodating, the home itself is beautiful and the history it holds is something to treasure! A very memorable stay- highly recommended for anyone in the area! My son was in awe of their farm animals!

My family and I spent Memorial Day weekend in this beautiful home. It was very spacious and very clean. It had every amenity you could possibly want. It had a beautiful family room area and plenty of seating for everyone. We enjoyed the outdoor fire pit. The pool was absolutely beautiful, but too cold for us to use at this time. The yard was completely fenced and very private. We really enjoyed our stay at this home. We hope to stay again soon!

We stayed at the Harvey House for 16 a little over 2 weeks and had a wonderful experience! The location was perfect—convenient and close to everything we needed. Shalamar was an excellent host—very responsive and easy to communicate with throughout our stay. The house was thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed, including toddler-friendly items like plates, bowls, and utensils, which was a big plus for our family. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-stocked home away from home. Thank you, Shalamar!

A wonderful Airbnb! Beautifully decorated & maintained with a classy antique meets modern aesthetic. Clean, comfy, great temperature regulation, amazing beds! Room for all of us too be in the house and have space as needed. Lovely hosts. Neighborhood felt super safe, plenty to do and yummy places to eat nearby and within a 30 min drive. We could not have asked for anything better for our stay. Would have stayed longer if we could have extended our trip! Thank you!

My family and I had a nice stay. It was easy to get to from the Philadelphia airport. The house and the bathrooms were clean, and the kitchen was well stocked. Kat, the hostess, was responsive and easy to communicate with. We would definitely choose Kat’s house again!

Host was very accommodating and home was even more impressive in person. One of the best properties I’ve experienced. Wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the warm fireplace, comfy beds, great water pressure in showers, nice linens, and gourmet kitchen. Will definitely consider this home again next time our travels bring us to this area.

This charming two bedroom was the perfect location to work remotely for a week while a family member attended a workshop at Salem CC Glass Center. I spent the week working long days - but I got to do it sitting on the screened in porch with the sound of birds singing and a gorgeous view of garden and river. For breaks I walked along the river in Battery Park (a block away) or around old New Castle - both delightful. The house itself is a tastefully renovated historic property & has comfortable beds, a large kitchen stocked with all the cooking necessities, and a homey living room. The house smelled clean and fresh, without smelling like cleaning products or heavily scented air freshener.

Dijanas place was perfect, we were in town for a funeral and she was very accommodating. check-in was simple, the neighbors even stopped by and said hello. She even let us know we could check in slightly early if we needed it. The home was well stocked as pictured had a perfectly fenced backyard for our furry friends and close to breakfast places coffee at the hospital if you needed it. would highly recommend staying here and would stay again.

This place allowed us to enjoy our stay while we were in town for a wedding. We were able to take our two dogs with us and the fenced in backyard just made things even easier. Everything was very nice, clean, and maybe little details that added to the coziness. If we ever find ourselves back in Wilmington, we will not hesitate to stay here again.

We had a great stay for the week. Clean home, all essentials were available. Blackout curtains great for sleep (especially nap time for the toddler). Host was responsive and friendly. Quiet residential neighborhood, not too far of a drive from some nice waterside restaurants.

We stayed at Elmer’s place for only one night. But it was definitely worth it and will be coming back for a longer period of time next time. We haven’t had the chance to use the firepit since it was raining. However, all the other amenities were well-kept and clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. Elmer is very nice and responsive host. We visited one of the restaurants she recommended (Agapē), everything was so delicious. I’d definitely recommend this place for a getaway.

My wife and I had the best experience at this guest house. Lisa is an amazing host. Lisa blessed us with fresh eggs in the fridge from the farm. Lisa also had fresh milk, yogurts, apple cider, granola, and homemade cakes for us. The guest house and the whole property will take you back in time. The guest house was squeaky clean from top to bottom and had the perfect amenities for out stay. If you are on the fence between renting this property or another property in the area, rent this property for your vacation. You will not be disappointed!!

The location and amenitires of this Air B&B were wonderful. We loved the on-site parking, the spaciousness of the place, and the washer and dryer. We had everything that we could want. The only problem is the noise from the street. It starts very early in the morning so wear ear plugs at night or plan to rise early.

We had a wonderful stay at Matt's. The tiny house was clean and beautiful. They were quick to answer any questions. It was quiet and was a nice place to relax. We probably should have researched the area more, as a lot of the places we came to visit were closed either permanently, or on Mondays and Tuesdays, which were the main days of our trip. There is an amazing bakery we discovered though, Daisy's Cakes, which we visited daily.

Our family enjoyed John’s beautiful historic home while attending a wedding nearby. From the moment we walked in, we felt right at home and appreciated the attention to detail paid in restoring this centuries old home. The layout was fun - many rooms to explore and lots of space for watching TV, playing cards, eating meals and otherwise enjoying each other’s company. Phenomenal coffee maker, which we enjoyed immensely both mornings, and a well stocked kitchen to boot. Very comfortable and clean bedrooms and a beautiful yard to gaze upon. Our only regret is that we did not have more time to explore the terrific recommendations John has thoughtfully put together for guests.

We had a wonderful week-long stay at 107 Hawthorne Court West in Hockessin. The home was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described—if not better. Tucked away in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood, it offered the perfect retreat while still being conveniently close to shops, restaurants, and beautiful walking trails. The space was thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including a well-equipped kitchen, cozy beds, and fast Wi-Fi. We appreciated the small touches like extra blankets, clear instructions, and a smooth check-in/check-out process. The backyard was an added bonus—perfect for morning coffee or relaxing in the evening. The host was responsive, helpful, and made sure we felt at home. We would absolutely recommend this property to anyone visiting the Hockessin or Wilmington area, and we’d gladly stay again.
