Private suite vacation rentals in New England

Kristina was a wonderful host for my friends and I over a long weekend. She was very responsive and the Airbnb was fill of suggestions for local nature walks, farmers markets, beaches, and restaurants. The place was spotless and set in such a peaceful neighborhood. I wish we could’ve have stayed longer!

Really nice converted basement to studio. Large bedroom/living room combo. Through a door was a modern bathroom with stand up shower and a kitchenette. Well decorated and stocked. She is a terrific host. I never saw her but she pre answered any questions I may have had. Climate control was very efficient and hot tub was spotless and easy to access. I will add it is not a private atmosphere for the hot tub as it is open with no privacy screens. My only flex with this rental is that the bathroom and kitchenette area does not feel private due the lack of a wall and instead the use of a privacy screen, to block off the rest of the basement and being able to see her basement stairs (I don’t think she uses them while hosting) but for me the fact that someone could walk down from the main house and be there is uncomfortable. This part is not to complain but inform. It is costly to rent and I always like to know exactly what I’m walking into.

What a lovey place to stay! You can’t beat the location and the hosts went above and beyond making such a creative space. Make sure you read the description. There isn’t a tv and the windows make it bright in the morning but we loved it all the more for it. I wish we could have stayed longer and if we are coming back through we will definitely stay again! Host was great and super helpful. We walked down to Dots for breakfast in the morning and truly enjoyed our time in Wilmington.

Kathleen and Mike were greats hosts. They welcomed us when we arrived and gave us clear communication about what areas we were welcome to use. Their property is a peaceful, beautiful spot on the lake. We will definitely stay there again when we come back to the area!

Michele and her husband were absolutely amazing! So incredibly kind and their home is on a beautiful piece of property. Situated in a remote area in between York and Ogunquit it was easy to get ANYWHERE! Michele was incredibly responsive with questions, recommendations, and just about anything you could need. I would HIGHLY recommend staying with them!

We had an excellent stay while attending our son's graduation at UCONN. The place was clean and homey, perfect when traveling back and forth. Our plans changed and we did not bring our dog, and Ashley was kind enough to refund us. My son goes back to UConn in the fall for his master's, and we know where we will stay again next May.

Wonderful stay, the place was in a beautiful location, walkable to Wolfe’s Neck Farm where we love to walk. My husband and I were there the first few days, then our adult daughter joined us for two nights. The place is small (described accurately) but the three of us found it very workable. The king bed was very comfortable. There was plenty of outside patio space to lounge and soak up the sun when it was out. This was a work trip for us as we were getting a property in a nearby town ready for sale. We didn’t have time to use the provided kayaks but hope to in a future stay. The hosts very friendly and accommodating, highly recommended this property.

The Airbnb was just as listed. Rustic but cozy, super charming and located in a great location. Kaedra was extremely friendly and informative with ideas for us to do around the area. If we had a question she answered right away. If we are back in the area it would definitely be a return. Thank you so much ;)

Our stay here was our favorite Airbnb experience to date in all of our vacations together. From the beautiful, bright, airy space inside, the sauna, the hot tub in the center of green, trees, and mountains, our expectations were exceeded on every level. We didn’t bring our bikes this time, but certainly will be next time we stay here. We got to visit with the cows, walk the beautiful and private walking path along the property, and got to enjoy the quiet and peaceful ambiance that nature provides. Our hosts were so proactive in offering information that we never needed to ask a single question. We felt so taken care of, prepared for the best possible stay, and we were truly so sad to leave. You will love it here!

Chris’s place was a perfect location for us to get to the UConn campus for our short stay. The space was large, clean, and comfortable and in a beautiful setting.

Matthew is the most responsive friendly host we have ever had out of an Airbnb host. He gave ample check in instructions and was very accommodating during our last minute booking. The place is so charming but we just loved the back patio that had lots of wildlife to watch. We saw birds, squirrels, bunnies, chipmunks, and a groundhog. I can’t recommend this place enough:)

I really enjoyed my stay at Logan’s place. Everything was exactly as described. Very short walk to my favorite beach. I am originally from the area and can vouch personally a location like this is unheard of in the area, a short walk to the city’s most popular beach where you don’t need to worry about parking to get in is a huge plus. Everything looked like the pictures and Logan was available via direct message if I needed anything but I felt as though my privacy was respected which was appreciated.

This space is SUPER cute, immaculate, and very roomy. It's hard to do it justice in phtotos. It's kind of old-world charm meets modern amenities: there's a fireplace and a piano ... and also a Firestick TV with lots of entertainment options. Cathedral ceilings with recessed lighting ... and also several lamps to light every nook and cranny. It's also extremely well appointed with everything you could want or need: coffee/tea, TV, hairdryer, snacks, dishes, etc. Kerry and Brandon have thought of everything - and I mean everything - to make your stay just a little more comfortable. They were super communicative, accessible and kind. It's on the second floor accessible via and outdoor staircase and deck, which means you get your own private large deck as well. I would definitely stay here again!

Perfect place for a family visiting Burlington. Greenway path just down the street. Nice, quiet neighborhood. Couldn't have asked for more!

I’ve stayed at many Airbnb. David’s place has the best stocked kitchen hands down. I loved all the coffee and tea options. There’s also a fridge full of wine. Checking out the snack basket was fun too. David also has a huge record album collection, a surround sound audio system and a huge TV in the living room and bedroom. All of which makes it fun to stay inside, explore and relax. The basement apartment is down the hill with 10-12 stone steps. David offered to help unload our car. If you have mobility issues, the steps could be a challenge. The bathroom door is warped and doesn’t close. If you require privacy, that might bother you. All in all, David’s place is rustic and cozy. David himself is a kind host. The area is green and beautiful. I didn’t get a chance to fish in the lake across the street though I read it’s quite nice. Burlington VT is a nice one hour road trip. Lots of hiking trails nearby if you prefer something closer.

Liz was an absolutely stellar host! From the moment we arrived, she went above and beyond to make us feel right at home. She provided thoughtful local recommendations for restaurants and hiking trails—every one we tried was a hit. The property itself is a gem: secluded enough for peace and privacy, yet conveniently close to major roads, making day trips and excursions easy. The backyard leading straight to the river was a highlight—perfect for relaxing or exploring. Whether you’re traveling with dogs or without, I highly, highly recommend staying here. Can’t wait to come back!

Loved our stay here. It was spotless, charming, and comfortable. Lots of cute touches everywhere, from the curated games to the birdwatching binoculars by the entrance. The backyard is lovely. Bed was cozy and the room was dark - got a great night's sleep. Was great to have access to laundry as well. Although we traveled here in late May, we asked beforehand if we could use the sauna, and the hosts accommodated our request. Would definitely stay again!

We really enjoyed our stay here, and how peaceful and private the place was! Very quiet, with just the sounds of nature outside, and the unit was clean and very comfortable. Loved having the hot tub too! Carolyn was a very responsive host who made check-in a breeze. Would love to stay here again if we were ever in the area. Was also pretty impressed with the quality of the restaurants in Woodstock!

We loved our stay here! Such a sweet little attached cottage surrounded by trees. My husband loved all the warblers in the morning (at least 10 different species!). We appreciated how clean it was, especially the kitchen and bathroom areas. Would highly recommend! The hosts were both very kind and considerate.

Tekla and James place (or should I say Freyja’s place) is incredible! The scenery is beautiful and peaceful, yet close to so many amenities and towns. The apartment is spotless, has everything we need, and has the best greeter (their malamute Freyja). This was our third time staying here and we will be back - it is simply the perfect spot for a relaxing mountain getaway!

Peter's lovely granddaughter greeted us upon arrival and helped us get settled. And Peter was also very communicative from booking to departure and seemed like a great guy! The place had so many thoughtful touches such providing oat milk, charging cords, and helpful restaurant recommendations. We certainly enjoyed our stay

This was our second stay with Jay & Heather. They are a fantastic couple that has an awesome place for guests to stay. They make our stay easy and are convenient to everything we need. Breath-taking views that will help you disconnect and help you get lost in thought.

My fiance and I had a fantastic time in Melody’s guest suite! The house is on a beautiful plot of land with access to a stunning private beach. She provided us with everything we’d need as well as recommendations! I’d highly recommend this stay.
